  2. Well, people think I'm crazy for doing this, and it has been a little unnerving in the past, but every so often when I'm driving and see a homeless person, I'll drive to the nearest store/grocery store, buy a few goodies (trail mix, bottled water, Gatorade, etc.) and drive back and give it to the homeless person. One time, I did this near our Target store, but by the time I got back to the corner he was at, he had left... I then spent the next 30 minutes driving around town looking for him, WHICH, I'm happy to say... I eventually did find him again!! I think I freaked him out because I pulled my car over and shouted "I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR YOU!!" out of my window at him... I've also (this has been the scary part, haha) let a few homeless people into the back seat of my car before... I drove through Taco Bell one night for this homeless lady trying to order food at the drive-thru, and I drove these homeless brother and sister through McDonald's, bought them each a burger, fries and shake, and then drove them to their next "pit stop." I don't know... like I said, it is maybe a little insane of me, but it makes me feel really, really good, knowing that I genuinely helped someone in need.
  3. I saw them last year... one of the best nights of my life! <3: Pity I don't live in the UK....

  5. Have you been talking to Laila...? Grats to both of you!
  6. To be honest, after having seen it, I don't think it would have been all that great in 3D anyway. Sure, it would have been cool to see spells and stuff pop out at you, but when you get down to it, it's just like... a normal movie with normal stuff going on. People running around being scared and hiding from people. Why does that need to be in 3D? >.> When Part 2 (which will be available in 3D) comes out in July, I don't plan on watching it in 3D, either. At least, not the first time I see Part 2. As someone who works in the entertainment/theater industry, I understand the importance of 3D and what it means for the art of filmmaking, but honestly... it's just crazy how many random movies they are making in 3D these days.
  7. I just got home from screening Deathly Hallows. <3:

  10. Nearly finished up reading Michael Crichton's Jurassic Park for the #th time. :P
  11. it says 48 summoning on the quest interface -.- 48 is correct. Niko only said 55 because he was thinking of a different quest.
  12. I think the phoenix you want is the one that's north of Uzer Camp in the desert...? You can spam-click that one and get a full inventory of feathers pretty fast. Plus you get 26xp Thieving for every feather you get.
  13. It's not as bad now since you left. <3: That's actually just the smell of your rotting Eevee. You know that April Fools only lasts for one day... in April... right? *goes to take a shower ;_;*
  14. You all smell. <3: But I still miss you guys.
  15. Find out what about Santa Claus..?
  16. Halloween! Was trying my costume on earlier, figured I should post this before tonight's "festivities."
  17. I'm a spam-feeder. Basically, any time my pet (usually ravens :P) make an audiable noise, or says something ("Twitter!") I feed it.
  18. Well, I guess I'm just being technical. There's a difference between someone working as hard as you and someone working as long a period of time as you. Player 1 worked on his high stats for a year; Player 2 has worked on his lower stats for two months. It is entirely possible that they have both worked as hard as the other, Player 1 has just simply been at it for a longer period of time. - - - My views I guess are a bit limited on this subject. I have always considered myself to be a skiller, so I've never encountered someone crashing me when I get the urge to do combat. It's just the elitist opinion that irks me, I guess. It's foreign to me, and it seems like the incorrect mindset to have. If The Ancient stumbled upon some trees I was in the process of cutting, I would never dream of telling him to world hop and find another, simply based off the fact that I have nearly 15,000,000 more Woodcutting experience than he does. I know it's not quite the same thing, but that's just how it's translating in my head. I just think everyone should have an equal shot.
  19. I agree with you that there are better alternative ways to making money. However, that doesn't mean that someone shouldn't or can't make money a slower, perhaps more inefficient way, does it?
  20. The concept is the same, more or less. I would assume that people boss hunt for cash, and that lower-level player can very well turn around and use that cash to buy better equipment to help him train on more suitable monsters. Edit: I just don't see how you can apply your method of gameplay to everyone else. There are countless people out there who don't know how to make money from skilling, and therefore rely on combat methods.
  21. An ego, and a false sense of entitlement. I don't know why would assume that someone hasn't worked as hard as you for their equipment or levels just because they are different or lower than yours. That solo mage that you have no qualms about crashing has probably been working his butt off to get to the point that they're at, and by boss hunting they are clearly trying to gain better stats, equipment, or the cash to help with both. You've ranted about people who aren't working to acheive stats like yours, but by crashing them you are denying them the chance to do the very thing you say they should be doing. How can any "low-level" person be expected to train their character up if other, more arrogant players don't allow them the space to?
  22. The inconvenience of Alching far outweighs the benefits of its low costs. Humidify is more-or-less the Lunar Magicks version of Alching (they both give 65xp per cast, and require the same amount of clicking; however, Humidify is slightly faster), so I would rule this out as well. However, if you do want to try it out I suggest watching this video: . He details the best (in my opinion) method to train with Humidify; you can skip ahead to timestamp 2:05 (but the entire video is really informational!) Plank-Make is very fast EXP, but at the cost of being very click-intensive. I did Mahogany logs for the last two or three levels when I was getting 99 Magic. (Just to throw in here quickly some other methods that I tried, I Ice Blitzed/Barraged Skeletal monkeys on Ape Atoll [100% pure loss here, but great EXP] and I used the Enchanting room/minigame at the Mage Training Arena.)
