  1. ...when you buy something from the G.E., you aren't buying it from an NPC - you're buying it from another player...? This is what I meant in my first post.. Anyways, this is cluttering the topic up. - - - elderstrike, you might have to wait 24 hours or so until you can buy it all on the G.E. Just be patient. And good luck!
  2. there is a giant facility thats sells almost anything you like ...the G.E.? If so, then I define this as "buying from another player."
  3. I don't believe there's an NPC that sells granite - other than at a general store, maybe. You have to mine it yourself, or buy from another player.
  4. Uhm, you want to have at least 750k everyday. Your not supposed to let it drop below 750k on any day to gain the most profit because it withdraws 10% everyday with 75k max. So, just follow what SerpentEye said on that thread except don't let your coppers dip below 750k. Isn't that what I say in the first line of my post? ^__^; I meant to say that, anyways...
  5. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=777005 I'm too lazy to re-type my advice \

  8. Your argument fails... hardcore. Straight people aren't "normal" by your argument. It takes a fraction of a second to think about it objectively: Compared to a gay person, straight people are different than us. And we don't judge you. We don't say that being straight is abnormal. It's a two-sided argument, that shouldn't be used. And how is the word "homophobe" laughable to you? Go back and read all 88 pages of this thread, and you'll see that it's laced with homophobic comments. Everyone "doesn't mind gay people, just as long as they don't try to do anything with me." - "What they do behind closed doors is their personal business, but don't show it around me!" These are all comments made out of some sort of fear, or phobia, of homosexuality. And there are "more" gay people now than there were before, because homosexuality is more widely accepted today, and people aren't keeping quiet about it. Trust me - there have always been a considerable amount of gay people in the world - they were just fearful of coming out in the harsher times. And I don't understand how you can say it's fine to be gay in private, but it's not okay to be gay in public. It's 100% unfair. I'm constantly flooded with images of straight couples, as someone mentioned earlier: ads on TV, in print, etc. Walking down the street, I see straight couples holding hands, innocently kissing, even passionately kissing sometimes. And while I'm not straight, I don't think anything is wrong with it. Honestly... it's like saying, "Oh, it's okay to be African American at home... just... put a bag over your head when you leave the house."

I think you missed a major point there. Nudity was normal according to this Biblical tale. Adam and Eve had no problem with being nude. It was only after Eve tasted the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge, that they became shamed of their nakedness. But originally nudity was fine. I believe that was my point...? When It began, nudity was accepted, because nudity wasn't. Just as hate, shame, etc wasn't. Oh... hm. I believe I missed the word "clothing." I thought you said "In essence, nudity should be shameful." Don't mind me. I'm blind.

  11. Ah, well, you see, not all of the 750K is used up - you just need to have that much in your coffers to maximize the amount of money your workers are paid. I withdraw my resources every 2-3 days or so, and at that point, I've only used up about 150K - so I still have 600K of the original 750K. Once I withdraw my resources, I top my coffers back up to 750K. Upon selling my resources (Tuna, Swordies, Flax, and gems) I make maybe... 300K+. So that's about 150K+ profit for two days. It's quite profitable, considering you don't really do anything to earn it.
  12. 10% of your coffers are used daily to pay for your workers, up to a maximum of 75K per day - so you at least want to put 750K into your coffers. The most profitable resources are Fish, followed by Flax. I personally have 10 on Fish, and 5 on Flax. Your profit is really dependant upon two things: how much money you have in your coffers, and how high your Approval Rating is. Try to get your AR up to 100% at least once a day (it drops 1% every day, so it's fairly easy to get it back up to 100%. I have to cut about 2 Maple logs, and it gets back to 100%.) GL!
  13. It's pretty simple for me personally. I always visit the G. E. at least once every day, and the Edgeville Fairy Ring is just a few clicks away - takes maybe 2 minutes for me to get to Miscellania, chop two logs, check up on my coffers, and come back through the Fairy Ring. But it is somewhat out of the way if you're not by a Fairy Ring.
  14. This seems to be another general trend people follow. If you find yourself honestly bored with the game, take a breather for a week or two. It's not going to be fun if you make yourself sit down and play it. Edit: I also agree with the "doing the unsual" comment ^ made. I hate, hate, hate combat, but lately, it's all I've been working on - and guess what? I'm actually finding that I'm not bored! It's fun to try out new things. So like he said, if you're a skiller, try out PvP or general NPC combat; if you're a PKer, pick up that hatchet, axe, or visit a local stove, and give skilling a go!
  15. I try to get my AR up to 100% daily, and I always make sure it's at 100% before I withdraw my resources. AR drops 1% daily - it takes me about 2 Maples to get it back up to 100% from 99%, so even if you do happen to miss a day, it's fairly easy to make up. And honestly, for me personally, if I do happen to go a few days without raising it even to 100%, I don't notice that large of a difference in profit. Of course, it's also dependant on how much is in your coffers. GL!
  16. Well, at the risk of sounding cheap, I think a fair few F2Ps decide to become members at the point that you're at. You're clearly stuck in a rut with F2P, and P2P offers a whole new world of fun possibilities. If signing up for P2P isn't an option though... uh... I'm not quite sure :? Just work on your lowest skill, I guess? :-#
  17. Muh baby. 2005 Dodge Neon SXT. Only difference is the rims. Different, thicker style, and mine are chrome.
  18. I pushed my sister into a fan that had the front cover removed from it. :twss: She didn't have to get too many of her fingers stitched back together...
  19. Pogs. These are the spawn of Satan.
  20. [hide=Totally off-topic]I think we should and debates before a whole seperate, nasty can of worms is opened up... While it's certainly 100% okay to base your opinions on homosexuality around religion, I don't think it's wise for anyone to start arguing about their religion, no matter how "misunderstood" it may be to some. This is a seperate issue, which has a fair few seperate topics devoted to it. We seem to be deviating from the OT.[/hide]
  21. How did the whole "needlessly spilling the seed" topic come up, anyways? It's just sperm, for goodness sake, people! Who cares if it's wasted! First it was all about "protecting the sanctity of marriage," and now it's about "protecting the sanctity of sperm" ...? This argument lacks.
  22. I doubt little kids are disturbed when they see a cross-dresser. At best, they are just inquisitive as to "Why that man is wearing mommy's clothes." And being gay doesn't mean you enjoy dressing up in women's clothes - I definently don't. And it's unfair to even say that all people who cross-dress are gay. They are two seperate things, really.
  23. [hide=Quote] [/hide] Ah. Well, yes, it did explain to me what you were saying. It just... still doesn't make sense to me though. I think that sex is more often a benefit to a relationship - a lasting relationship, anyways. It helps to deepen the sense of intimacy between two partners. I think I disagree because your above points are based on the fact that the people in the relationship are religious. As I don't really have any religious beliefs, I don't really see eye-to-eye with what you've brought up. And as far as statistics go, I'd be interesting to see why the couples actually ended up divorcing - I doubt the couples that had pre-marital sex divorced over anything to do with the actual sex. Anyways... I don't mean to deviate from the whole point of the OP...

Today... I worked for 10 hours. And now I'm sitting here, hopping between OT and H&A. ...eventful.
  25. I actually really enjoyed Bio when I took it! Although I got an "A" grade every quarter, my teacher chose not to put me into AP Bio, hence my switch over to Chem.
