MSN and AIM run in the background, but I have a tendency to ignore people whilst I'm playing the game. If I need to check something on Tip.It, or message one of my friends on MSN/AIM, I prefer to log out of the game... so... that's why I usually end up just ignoring all of my IM's :?

I think it would be better to allow Holiday items to be Lent and Borrowed, rather than outright traded for keeps.

I always thought it slightly odd that you can collect items/gp from G. E. trades via a banker, yet you can't put items directly from your bank into the G. E. I'm not suggesting that they actually impliment this - it's just odd. Besides, the entire point of the G. E. was to have one, central spot for trading. It would defeat the purpose if they made another one.

I think your argument is weak. It comes off as if you're suggesting that two men/two women getting married would negatively impact society. This is bigotry; intolerance is for the unintelligent. By your argument, "regular" marriages are no more, and no different, than two straight people having intercourse. The value and the validity of a marriage is not based off of what kind of sex people have! Grow up. There would be a huge uproar if a state declared that Asian, Mexican, Caucasian, Italian, Korean, Puerto Rican, or any one specific race of people/couple could not get married. It wouldn't stand in society - there is no way. If you went up so someone and told them that they couldn't get married because of where they were born, you would get slapped in the face, or worse. I don't see why it's any different for basis on sexual orientation. It's hypocritical of you to say "As for 'right' and 'wrong'...it's foolish to make that judgment," so soon after you spewed your words of intolerance and single-mindedness. Your last sentence is one big failure. If you don't even have the right to judge what is "good" or "bad" in God's eyes, than you certainly don't even have the right to begin to perceive what is "good" or "bad." Try logging out, and logging in again. I was having a similar problem with the Falador diary - I went to the chainmail shop, bought a black chain, equipped it. The achievement message popped up in my chat box. After having completed all the other tasks, I was wondering why a message didn't pop up saying I had completed the Easy diary. Turns out, despite telling me I had completed it, it didn't recognize that I had bought the chainmail. So I had to go back and buy another one one, etc. It'll work eventually. If not, bug report! :thumbsup: With a new Christmas update/quest/event, I'm sure other aspects of the game got messed up.

I doubt it's just you! After all, it's not as if the Thanksgiving and Halloween events were mind-crunchers, either. I don't know m'self though. I can't do the event until I get back home from work. -.-

This movie was such a treat. Ralph Fiennes makes any movie amazing. And Brendan Gleeson is just... brilliant. I'm not such a huge Colin Farrell fan, though. I highly suggest watching this movie, though!

I don't think any of the rules should be removed - they are there for a reason. I do agree with most that the chat filter could use some major updating - if they can add words and letter-combinations to their block list, they can certainly add words and letters that don't get filtered out. My one friend in-game lives on the opposite side of the world as I do - when I'm playing at night, he always tells me that he's "going ** ******." It takes me a moment to remember that the chat filter blocks out "to school..." Honestly...

Out of the movies currently in theaters, I would suggest: The Day the Earth Stood Still (pretty cool sci-fi movie.) Bolt (Hehe, this movie is totally a kids film, but I really enjoyed it!) Quantum of Solace (not as good as the Pierce Brosnan or Sean Connory films, but still enjoyable.)

Although they can be a bit annoying at times (whisking me away right when I click to teleport... *huff!*) I really am not that bothered by them. It takes, what, a maximum of a whole 30 seconds to complete the most frequent events? Jagex can have 30 seconds of my day, for all I care. :/

I'm a manager at a movie theater. The pay is... personal, but decent : I'll start earning Paid Time Off next year. Woohoo! I love my job!

This would prevent people from wearing a Santa beard/wig and Santa hat at the same time... I agree with people saying it'll be like the Halloween event: bottom, top, and cape (maybe the cape will be a sack of presents.)
