  1. I'm fairly sure you'll still need to apply at least combat style weaknesses (mage/range/melee) to high level slayer mobs using chaotics. However, from what I've heard, drygores are not the infallible "kill all the things" weapons they once were. You may be chasing an outdated concept.

I believe the abyssal demon mask is gone, however you can still get the gargoyle and jadinko masks.
  3. Qbd is an excellent source of cash (~3-4m/hr solo) and is pretty simple with level 90 gear. Might want to give that a try when you get the hang of combat.
  4. Have you tried ALT + `? That's what it is in live game as of today.
  5. I'm getting it in resizeable.
  6. Because combat familiars sucked. Steel titan was only spared the fate of his fellows because he had a ridiculously powerful special attack....gee what else does that remind me of?
  7. The only use I've seen so far is at tds for making it switch prayers, but I find it easier to simply switch weapons.
  8. Can't you turn them into the ogre guy for shards? TBH the pigs should be tradable.. But they should list their tiers in the name. Prayer Pig T1, Prayer Pig T2, ect. Can't be summoned without the quest, AND the perquisite upgrade built cant note them and there only 6 shards each. it would take forever to get even a small amount of charms even if you could trade them in. Not sure if they can be traded for shards though. I hate how summoning is now tbh. I would love if all combat familiars were tiered. not like iron and steel titans. But at a certain summoning level when you summon a wolf say instead of being the lv 1 wolf it would be a dire wolf, ice wolf ect. and level up with your summoning level. then at least there would be some use for the scrolls for weaker combat familiars and would let us have more variety rather then just titan. I wish you didn't have to click 17 times to have them hit an enemy, then watch steel of legends do 56-32-109-304. Edit: And if they actually made combat familiars other than steel titan useful, we would have variety as things like spirit dagannoth and moss titan would be worth using. It doesn't have to be some super overpowered instant killing special, just enough to make it worth the cost of the pouch + the extra apm using it.
  9. Here's a page on RS Wiki listing all of the graphical changes to monsters in the game. (Make sure to use the little arrow button to expand the table if you can't see both rows!) I would pay particular attention to the Abyssal Demon (Only got a recolor, oddly enough!), Killerwatts (One of my favorite Slayer Monster re-designs), and Wallbeasts (Which are a lot more terrifying, especially now that we know where they came from). I'm excited to see what they all end up looking like after the second set of graphical updates Every time there's a graphical update to monsters, I always have to stop and marvel at how much more compelling they make the designs feel. Slayer was pretty much the first major update after I joined RS, and I will always remember how exciting the first day was. It has a special place in my heart. Ah. I know of those pages. There are only about a dozen images that work, though! Oh, seems like you're having some weird firewall/connection/something issues with RS Wiki. Interesting. Here's an imgur mirror of all the slayer-specific ones (With the Chaos Elemental thrown in for good measure!) because I have nothing else better to do with five minutes of my time on a lazy Sunday. :P Kurasks looked pretty intimidating back then, now they just look like sick, deformed cows.
  10. Was starting to wonder if my similar droprate to yours was just good luck as I'm about 1500-2000 dry now. Guess I'll have to give them another go, thanks.
  11. Anyone know? Trying to decide if they're worth killing, but all I get are logs from pre-eoc or people asking the same question.
  12. As far as I know, the momentum icon is just telling you that momentum is active. The exp counter was recently added (probably shoehorned in) at the request of players. Logout button is in a submenu found by clicking the gear on top right of hp/adren/pray/sum box. You can right click the health bar to set it vertical I think, not sure if you can resize it. I'm not entirely satisfied with it, but I think I could get used to it fairly easily. It's certainly very interesting, coming from someone who's never played an mmo aside from rs.
  13. True, but friend really hates questing, and I just had her get about 40 qps and do wgs only to go on a ~2500 dry streak at tds. She has pretty much sworn off killing Qbd atm so I guess this thread is useless now, thanks for replies.
  14. Friend of mine is attempting Qbd without having done song from the depths and is having a bit of trouble. Is the buff from SftD worth getting? Any numbers?
  15. How is pking at revs now? You still get teams cleaning cave every 15 minutes?
  16. Calling someone who is helping others quit a game they're addicted to after breaking the cycle of addiction for themselves is like slapping a sponsor in the face at an AA meeting. It's completely insensitive regardless if you don't think the video is an effective learning tool. So long as it's not detrimental or it doesn't aid in relapsing, there's nothing wrong with it. I understand the general population is really tired of seeing people who should've long since quit come back to attack the game. That isn't the purpose of this video. If you don't like it, give constructive criticism, but let's not attack it while portraying it to be something that it isn't. 1:50 3:58 5:06 5:49, all instances of baseless claims or passing off his opinions as fact. The only advice given is to "drop your shit" and "log off and never come back". My father's life was changed for the better through AA, and I respect what he's trying to do, but the video is more of a rant than an aid, and good intentions don't change that.
  17. Don't you also need to get 84 construction and some other skill?
  18. Always amuses me that Runescape is the only game that you have to "quit" instead of simply stopping playing it like every other game. Edit: This video seems more of an "I quit runescape and it is a shit game, you should feel this way as well". Not much info on actually quitting other than stuff everyone already knows like drop your bank.
  19. Pretty sure that is just the merging of two screenshots.
  20. How come I never get funny scam emails like this...
  21. Wasn't that around 2009/2010?
  22. I can't even go 2 minutes without freezing/disconnecting...
  23. The joke is that many things that seem fine but are deemed "not in the spirit of the game" are fixed by Jagex.
