China Using Prisoners To Farm MMOs
Are you serious? Really? Did you read what you just wrote? Do you realize how silly that sounds? If not, read it again. Do you realise how silly YOU sound? Stop trying to justify your ill informed opinion by making everyone else who believes this IS torture, a majority of people, out to be ignorant. We can't all be as gifted as you are, but please give us the decency of rendering us competent enough to read and understand an article. They aren't PLAYING these games, they're being forced to do repetitive actions on them for 12 hours in lieu of sleep. If it's not torture I'd honestly like to see you try it. Try it for one night, after a backbreaking day of hard labour, and see how it's funny then. It's psychological and slow physical torture. Prisoners would slowly be worn down by this and sleep deprivation is a [bleep].

San Francisco set to vote on becoming Anti-Semitic
Does it really matter? The child is unaware of what happens so nobody gets 'traumatised' by it. It MAY have health benefits and sexual benefits, but it might not, does it matter either way? Is it worth wasting time arguing over whether little Tommy will get circumcised or not? Obviously it matters to the INDIVIDUAL family, it's not a matter of law if you ask me.

Bathing
He's sick, just said so :P I guess it's like how a nice hot bath can be relaxing too, especially when you're ill. If I'm full of a cold I often don't want to go in the shower but it's usually something that can make a difference to how you feel :)
-
Bathing
I remember getting so much crap from people ages ago over this topic XD I don't shower every day, I do it every three days. I don't engage in physical activities, I don't need to obsessively clean myself. My hair has been much nicer for it since it's often awkward the day after a shower because I shower at night and if it's a little damp when I go to bed it seems to really go off on one in the night and refuses to budge in the mornings :P I'll shower the night before if I'm doing anything special the next day, too. We simply DON'T need to shower every single day, I honestly don't buy into the whole 'shower twice a day' thing.

That's what she told me. She said it only kicked in AFTER they'd been pulled out so she was at home before her mouth went numb =/ Scary stuff. I shouldn't think of it really, as I have another appointment yet. Then sometime in the future I'll need to get permanent fillings, provided the dentist agrees my teeth don't need pulling out or something. No more sugar for me, that's for sure.

I'm already paying for treatment where I am, kinda bitter that I'm paying for pain I don't want :P. That laser dentistry sounds really cool though. Tbh I'm not scared much of needles in general, I've had many vaccinations which didn't hurt much, but that anasthetic (I think it was novacaine) really hurt when it was being injected. I didn't think I'd be needing something like that. I honestly don't want to go again :(

Today...
I feel like my mouth was violated by the dentist today. I went in for some fillings, I haven't had any for years, and she was all 'lol we'll just numb you up'. THREE needles. PAINFUL injections. The last one she said that it would sting, THEY ALL STUNG. Then I was waiting for it to kick in, poking my face wondering where half of it had gone. Then she drilled my teeth for ages and stuff... I could sort of feel one of them, it hurt. Then I was left with half a face working, traumatised. The worst thing is I have to go back in two weeks for the other side... I'm terrified now. I now understand why people hate the dentists, it was traumatic :S

TIF is bit over-moderated
Inappropriate or irrelevant material posted in the subforums you mentioned may still be rulebreaking, regardless of the validity of the advice given. Flamebait and trolling would not be acceptable in any of Tip.It's subforums (although the enforcement of the rules may be more lax on some, such as Forum Games) However, if a debate emerges about something like CLS vs CR, then I think you're right, and they shouldn't moderate posts based on their personal views, as they are unlikely to know enough to effectively moderate the subforums. I think I partly agree with you, perhaps the moderators would agree and work out a system where that is possible. I definitely understand where the idea is coming from, that you feel moderators who are retired aren't capable of dealing with some issues, but we don't need to exclude mods from certain areas to make things work. Whether or not they take action on a post or wait for another moderator is up to the individual. More likely than not, a moderator won't need Runescape experience to deal with an issue. If an issue is flaming, trolling, spamming... none of that needs to be dealt with by an experienced Runescape player. Moderators never moderate posts based on their views, they moderate based on the rules. If a mod is unsure whether or not something breaks the rules, including the ones in H&A & Metagaming, they'll ask for other moderators to help. Many times I've seen a report for Metagaming and, since I don't have an idea, I get input from a mod who does. Just because you see a moderator who's retired from RS dealing with an issue doesn't mean that they're the only one behind the action or that they don't know what they're doing.

TIF is bit over-moderated
Still not sure how complimenting a mod on their post deletion prowess is derogatory, unless that mod feels that they've been deleting too many posts and is sensitive about it. Because it was obviously meant as a sarcastic insult, not sincere and not appropriate.

Tip.It Times - 15th May 2011
Yes, i realize that. I just think that finishing most stuff in Runescape only for a item with combat stats is a bad thing. People hope to get new capes, swords, shields, platebodies etc. That you have to do all that for Untrimmed Comp cape is just...stupid. If you want to reward people who do all that stuff, don't reward them through combat stats. Because by doing so your limiting the acess to this cape for many combat players. And don't get confused, the cape should still take time, but not as much as it does currently. I think that the only people who will actually be effected by not having this cape are the people AT high level combat. It would be nice if it didn't limit combat players or be useless for skillers but the point of the cape isn't to have a widespread use. It's just there as a small reward and indicator for people who've 'completed' the game. I wouldn't like Jagex to bump it up and make it better or, change the way it works to make it easier to access. The whole point is that it's hard to access. It can become a goal for some people and just a distant dream for others. I don't think we'll get to the point where you NEED the cape to stay competitive so I don't see the fuss. Let the people who want to get it, get it, and if they don't want to then they don't have to. Nobody is forcing them.

Tip.It Times - 15th May 2011
People generally work hard to obtain achievements. But getting 99 in all skills, 120 dungeoneering and LOADS more stuff, only to receive a stats combined cape of Fire cape, Soul wars cape, Ardougne cloak etc is just STUPID. If they do it just for the stats, then yes, it's stupid. But, no one would do that. It's more for the looks and the fact that you are part of a select few, or the only one in the case Castle Wars, with this item. Even if it was +0 all stats, it would still be a great achievement to reach. I can almost guarantee no one is going for the cape because of the stats. Everyone realises that the Completionist cape doesn't need the Castle Wars to get it? It's only the TRIMMED version which does, and that has the same stats as the original.

Tip.It Times - 8th May 2011
I'm not pointing this at anyone, but be sure to make sure you're following these rules because we won't return to the days where people thought it was okay to flame and degrade an author just for their opinion. The Times IS voluntary and caters to more than just the opinion of the masses. Sometimes a differing opinion is needed to get some discussion going, if everyone agrees with what's being written there's hardly a reason to write. But yeah, this is the last time I'm going to kindly remind people about these:

Tip.It Times - 8th May 2011
To be honest it isn't widely used outside of combat. I can't think of many REAL uses for familiars, or times I've used them. I think the only real time I have is grhaaking natures. =/

Just because it's their own opinion doesn't mean they are right in any way, shape or form. It's an opinion, opinions are neither right or wrong. I never once said it was the 'right' opinion.

Remember the rules in the first post, if you can't keep it polite, keep it to yourself. I too disagree with the second article, though I do find Summoning and Hunter to be quite lacklustre skills, I love Dungeoneering. Dungeoneering really is a bit of a marmite skill, you love it or hate it, and you have to accept that there will be people on the opposite side to you who have their own opinion.
