I hate the name. I really hate the name. I'm sorta eh. If it's expensive and proves not to be total rubbish we might end up getting one in the house, but if it's just the old Wii in a new package then I'm not interested. I'm not too worried about technical specs since, hell, I still play PS1 & 2 games. The comparison to the dreamcast is interesting though. In between the generations, not quite there. I think it's a bit of a risk because kids aren't as interested in the wii as they like to think they are. It's mums that are, parents who aren't gamers, and the Wii U looks nothing like any console they can relate to.
  2. Omg, that's one of the first things I did too. The circus was in Taverly I think and I got in and it took ages for me to figure out how to get out :P
  3. I have no idea what my number is except it starts with 07... like all mobiles :P I remember my first ever mobile's number though, I use it when annoying websites demand a telephone number. It's not used now.
  4. Took this about a week ago and totally forgot!

It's an LED capacitive touch screen. There's three different changable modes, one's a numpad, and then there's two others with icons. You can't change or move the icons but you can customise where they link to. It's quite good :) I've got a better pictures here: [hide] [/hide] It's an eclipse litetouch. :D
  6. I wouldn't put someone in the position of buying something for me unless they'd already agreed they would. I would never suddenly just go 'Oh hey, buy me an ice cream please kthanx'. I suppose it's the sort of friends you surround yourself with. None of my friends are the sort to take, or to ask things like that. There's a difference to me for helping a friend pay for something they need, than just forking out for them who just don't want to pay. You have to draw the line.
  7. I unashamedly sobbed the whole way through The Prince's Tale. I can't even explain how heartbreaking it was. Alan Rickman is a truly incredible actor. Overall, a really amazing end to the series. I loved it, I really loved it. I cba going into much detail, but I think it's definitely either my favourite film, or one of them!

Oh. My God. I need this. The last bit on the video where he DRAWS ON THE KEYBOARD ASDASDFJSFKSFAS This is my keyboard, got a good deal on it for £30. It lights up, that's all I care about. Doesn't light up with colours but it's still good, matches my glowing rainbow mouse.
  9. It's decently animated but I reckon 720p is good enough quality to be watching it in for now :)
  10. I warned you about endings bro!!!! I told you dog! @Riku: I'm following Kaiji and Nichijou, considering watching Steins; Gate. Steins;Gate is awesome. It's a bit difficult to follow at first, sort of hard to understand, BUT it's really good once you do follow what they're doing and the characters are much, much better than those from Chaos;Head. C;H really pales in comparison to S;G.
  11. Watching it in 2D at midnight tonight :D It's proven a logistical nightmare to get up to the cinema and back at that time, had I realised I might have just watched it the next day, but I'll live :P I paid for the ticket already so... XD Very much looking forward to seeing it. Going to watch my Part 1 DVD before I head up to the cinema :D I have a few friends cosplaying & going as a group but since I refuse point blank to watch it in 3D I can't go with them :(
  12. I've been told to watch Darker than Black but I've not really bothered, it hasn't caught my eye but I do need to consider it. Finished Hourou Musuko and started Gunslinger Girl. Hourou was decent, had a nice storyline and tackled interesting issues. Really enjoying Gunslinger Girl so far, too. Knew it was worth the download :) Also, getting 1080p Clannad (& After Story), win or win? :D
  13. My guy friend told me it was the chick version of the Hangover. So I thought it was going to be really funny. That was one of the most stupid movies I've ever seen. I only found that sister character (the manly-army girl) funny. Everything else was just, eh. And they tried to make such a raunchy movie end with this serious nice relationship between the girl who sleeps around and a genuinely nice guy. I'd give that movie a whopping 2/10. The only possible association it has with Hangover is that they are bridesmaids while the others are with the groom. That's where it ends. Hangover is a just a feel-good movie while this one is about...i'm not even sure lol. Just because it's about girls doesn't mean it has to rely just on romance and personal conflicts. They could have chosen to make it funny but i guess it was targeted towards a female audience? Yeah, I just don't think you guys get it :P I watched it with my boyfriend and he thought it was quite good, but it *is* aimed more at a female audience so I wouldn't be surprised that most people here won't like it.

Happy Birthday :) Today for me has been spent mostly just trying to not be [cabbage] at web design. I'm working hard on a project but it just feels like I'm really no good at it, I'm not as good at web design as people I know IRL think I am... all my layouts come out [cabbage]. I've managed to come up with quite a nice looking design today but it's really not fitting with the theme I need. My first design fit it more but it's awkward and doesn't even look that good. I've spent ages trawling web design blogs but it just makes me feel bad that I can't do it ¬_¬ Oh well, just have to push on.
  15. Because in all honesty it's a over-glamorized fad. I'm not one to judge people harshly, believe me, but you can't help to admit the majority of the loudest fans are the ones who feel all proud to be a 'rebel' of sorts. I don't like saying it, but it's the only reason why it has grown so large and so loud. I agree with this. Like I've said before I see absolutely no reason to put this much into a show and it honestly is a little creepy. (in the same way where furries 'proudly' proclaim how much they would love to [bleep] a fox). Like the show if you want but the whole 'bronie' thing is just stupid. BECAUSE people are so sure that it's creepy and disgusting is the whole reason why bronies exist at all. Do you think if this was, say, just some Transformers show which people wouldn't presume it's disgusting for men to watch, this phenomenon wouldn't exist. It's narrowminded for people to still see things like 'this is what a boy does and this is what a girl does, anything else is disgusting'. Yes, some of the fans might come off as a bit weird or over the top, but what the [bleep] does it matter to you? Are they hurting you? Bronies have a cool fandom which is literally based on friendship and fun, I fail to see how that is such a bad thing.
  16. Um, because it's fun to call yourselves bronies. It gives it much more of a sense of community, togetherness and... friendship :twss:

There is probably SOME beurocracy that could be cut out of the NHS safely but considering their election promises regarding the NHS, they can't do much. And, I have to say, I would much rather a bit more money go into the NHS and be wasted than allow the risk that cuts may be made in wrong places and lives put at risk.
  18. Saw Bridesmaids today, thought it was brilliant. Loved Chris O'Dowd as whateverhisname in the film (I just called him Roy, as in Roy from IT Crowd :P) and thought it was just generally a fun movie :)
  19. Okaaaay. Here we go :P House Sherlock Misfits The Inbetweeners The IT Crowd Peep Show Top Gear Mock The Week Russell Howard's Good News QI Star Trek: The Next Generation Star Trek: Voyager Firefly (not that it's still running of course :P Still sorta in the fandom though) My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic South Park Scrubs ... huh. Thought it'd be longer.
  20. Saw some actually decent anime DVDs/Blu Rays in a second hand entertainment store today. £15 for 12 episodes of Durarara! and £18 for I think 13 episodes of FMA Brotherhood in Blu Ray. I was honestly shocked they had more than Naruto/Bleach/Studio Ghibli (though they did have them), which you usually just see. Anime DVD prices are honestly riddiculous in most cases, like £20 for 4/5 episodes ¬_¬
  21. I actually like the name brony. It's great for me since I call myself a brony without being a boy, just being older than the intended demographic. It makes me feel like a rebel.

    This is awesome :D
  24. I do like Higurashi. There's a second series (Kai) but if you didn't like the original series the second isn't so much better. The animation is very anime-like and while the plot does get explained, there's less gore and more friendship.
  25. I would not need glasses and not be freakishly small. Just those two things would make me happy :P A perfect me would have a better eye for web design, NOT be so easily distracted, be more confident and outgoing. Oh, and I'd play DDR like a beast.
