I hate the £3.30 fare for the 7 minute train ride from here to Salford - there's not even a stop between me and Salford! I'm getting the train once or twice a week. It'd cost me a lot more if the journey TO Salford wasn't usually fairly busy or easy to avoid having to buy a ticket. But because my return journey is at 6:45am and there's like maximum 10 people on the train I can't avoid having to pay. Train fares are quite ridiculous here ¬_¬

My membership is due to cancel on the 9th so [bleep] you Jagex ¬_¬ Oh well. At least I can try to make some money off this before I go and MAYBE if rares really go lower then I can afford one before I go F2P. (HA! Unlikely, but I can dream).

If you love someone you might put x's at the end of a text like 'See you later xxx' - x's are like kisses and o's are hugs (I personally don't use hugs like that). If you put xxx's it's more 'love' than one x or no x's. Sort of like the number of 3's you put on a heart <33333. Of course, too many 3's means being clingy - like <33333333333333333333 and too many x's is stupid like - xxxxxxxxxxxxx. I thought people understood this intuitively :mellow: It's like body language for texts/talking online. And don't get me into the use of smilies :P

I would suggest RuneScape to a friend but I would NOT push them to get P2P before they're good and ready.

It's not a guarantee, and I'm soooo pissy that I couldn't get one due to being broke. I can't risk ordering another one (or trying to, not that there'll *be* any anywhere) so I've got to stick with Amazon and hope for the best. I would never even consider a tablet if it wasn't so cheap :P

Omg I think I managed to grab an £89 HP Touchpad. I ordered one on Amazon when the price dropped last night and it said temporarily out of stock, it now is telling me Not yet dispatched, we'll notify you via e-mail when we have an estimated delivery date for this item. [bleep] yeaaaaah.

Yeah the 'King' doesn't exist here afaik. And I go to McDonalds because I just prefer the food and there's far more of them around.

I know it's their fault, they've been screwing with the game for a long time and now they don't want to admit it to themselves. And nobody is going to leave if they win. I didn't pay attention the last time they won and I won't if they do so this time. You forget that a majority of players won't be aware of this video or even of what Jagex has been doing to the game. Because we're higher levelled than average and we're on these forums we're far more keenly aware than most players of what Jagex are doing and the effect it is having on the game.

I've seen this before when I play Puzzle Pirates. People in game there advertise selling RuneScape accounts for ingame money there (which isn't allowed either). It's sad but just like GP can be bought with $ and £, other MMO currency can be sold with GP.

People aren't actually going to do that though... The video is quite shocking and the demodding of the player is a bit disturbing, even if I can understand why Jagex did it. They don't need more negative rep than what they already pile on themselves and what's a few users compared to the prestige of being able to say they won the award (again).

Jagex's recent behaviour this year can all simply be explained by investors on the board of directors going 'We want more money.' They don't care about the future of the game, just the future of their wallets. So developers have to go back on promises and spout all this BS almost-microtransactions.

Haha yeah :D Duelist Kingdom was lulz. I have the first YGO console game, Forbidden Memories for PS1, which used the rules like face down defence and no tributes XD Also the way you fuse monsters is mad, you pick two compatible monsters like a warrior with a sword and a pyro type and merge them into Flaming Swordsman... even though it doesn't work anything like that in the real game.

This is genuinely pathetic. There is NO NEED FOR A NEW F2P PLAYER TO SUBSCRIBE WITHIN 2 WEEKS. You've barely scratched the surface of F2P... it's pointless and Jagex are simply pushing and pushing for new members. How low can they get, really? How low... I'm shocked and appalled.

Yeah, back when I was 11 sacrificing was for noobs, as were energies for Pokemon cards :D I even once played a game where my Pokemon Cards became YuGiOh monsters or something... I didn't have any YGO cards yet but my friend did so we improvised :P

YGO has changed from when I played it on the pavement with my friends down the street...

If you live in Europe, this ain't always true. Well i wouldn't really know. I was talking merely on hearsay. But i imagine now that the economy has recovered from back when recession hit, things are much more stable and finding bargains like you could back then will be a lot harder now. Where did you get the impression that the economy was better? :blink: I have no idea how the economy works and I know that there's no way it's better yet. :P

I need to try drunk TIFing but I only ever drink when I'm at my boyfriend's, September when I've moved out I shall :D I've TIFed while sleep-deprived and slightly out of touch before though :P

I have a very low fanservice tolerance. Hence one of the reasons I'm enjoying Full Metal Alchemist so much. :thumbup: But... That was a horror show, yeah? Like, straight gore and grossout. With a tiny bit of cuteness and meme-material. At least, that's what I understand from TvTropes. So why in hell has it made that sort of transition. Higurashi is a horror mystery type show, there are cutey parts in the series so that you do get a feel for the characters and that's what makes the horror horrific, but since the horror has been solved for some stupid reason DEEN decided what we needed wasn't the fun of the last OVA Rei, but FANSERVICE EVERYWHERE. I'm just very disappointed, but I can't say I was expecting much from it. Higurashi has unfortunately been reduced to a cash cow :(
