We had rules against breaking Jagex rules (such as advertising botting) here, but we've toughened up the punishments.

You'd be surprised at the amount of guys that have 'periods' too. If you want to call it that Oh my god that is so true. I know so many guys that practically have periods minus the blood.

I sort of do that, only I tut and go 'wtf you paid that much?! You could have got something similar at Primark for £x'. Also I could have killed my dad for getting shoes for over £100. I honestly could have! Yeah, cheap shoes might not last as long but still! I just have an aversion to large sums of money.

Finished Angels & Demons AND The Da Vinci Code :thumbsup: Got to read the 3rd book (can't remember the name) now. I really like these sorts of stories where there's a good grounding in reality, you can really imagine these sorts of things being true (even if they are exaggerated for the story, like I think Wikipedia said the priory of sion don't exist).

That article was actually horrifying. There's no way to describe what those soldiers did except as disgusting and wrong. Very wrong. I don't see how anyone can defend those actions... at all.

I like skilling more than combat, no matter how good money combat is or how heavily the game is based around combat. If skilling was to be removed from the game, I would quit for sure. I have to agree. No matter how bad skilling has become since bots took over, skilling is still a key part of the game and shouldn't just be dismissed because some people don't think it's worth anything any more.

I like how people are implying it's even possible for Limewire to pay that much... it literally makes me laugh, there's no chance in hell of it happening :P

Can I just ask people not to bring the Times into this? While it was sent to us as a guest article, once it was posted up here it meant we couldn't release it as an article anyway. Just keep things civil. Whether or not you like the OP's post is NO excuse for bad behaviour. I'm watching this thread now.

I dunno, it's just the sorts of things I do. I rarely go out and do social things, especially not at night during the week (I NEVER have). How picky I am with food, my aversion to many different things, my unease doing spontaneous things, my paranoia about needing to get home. It all just makes me awkward.

I can see a person and go 'yeah, they're good looking' but there's no feeling behind it, I don't mentally ever feel that I'm 'attracted' to someone.

Confession: I think that I don't have an internal 'attraction' meter or something. I've never fancied anyone before, the closest thing to attraction is slight feelings like that for people that I've known for a long time. I've never seen anyone and gone 'oh wow, I fancy them' or met someone and quickly decided that I like them. I just don't FEEL anything, it's strange.

Friends trying to 'fix' me all the time. Yes, I obviously don't have the best mental health in the world, my 'quirks' border on craziness but sometimes I just want them to leave me alone and let me get on with it. So what if I'm not being an adult? That I should do such and such a thing because apparently that's what normal people would do... I'm OK with how things are. Yes, I know that my need to get home a lot and get back for my brother is annoying for you trying to make me social but I've survived for many years before coming to University. Uni hasn't magically changed me, nor can you. They're lucky that I come and meet them on the weekends sometimes. They honestly are, because that's progress for me.

I have way too many books on the go! - The God Delusion - Richard Dawkins - A Journey - Tony Blair - A brief history of time - Stephen Hawking And I just started Angels & Demons by Dan Brown. Cool story so far, I've not seen any of the films yet either.

When a thread has the title 'Am I Physic?' you know it's going to be a good one :P Stuff like that happens all the time to many different people. The human brain is amazing, it makes connections, you think of something and the next day it seems like that happened BECAUSE of the thought. No, it would have happened anyway, but you would not have noticed is all. We have thousands of thoughts a day, it's just pure statistics. Then there's stuff like when you have a dream that, say, you meet someone. The next day you meet them for the first time and it's the person on the dream. That works because you don't actually have the dream about them, you had one about some generic person and afterwards you superimpose them onto that person and believe that happened. My mum gets freaked out about stuff like deja vu in any of us because she's got epilepsy and is paranoid that it's a sign of it.
