I learned how to play Poker from an MMORPG :D

I don't see Lolicon as such a bad thing, it's not harming children in any way, it's just something that people might be in to. Loli/Shota, it's no stranger than tentacles. It doesn't make someone a sexual predator or child molester, y'know, since they're not molesting any children. They're looking at drawn pictures of fictional children.

Higurashi has a lot of blood, as does Elfen Lied, but I'm not sure they're the sort of anime you're after.

Still ploughing my way through A Journey, God that book is longer than I thought it was :P Around 40% through it now. I've also picked up The God Delusion, definitely an interesting read.

Watched Paul at the cinema with friends on Tuesday :D I wasn't really considering it until I saw the promo on Top Gear, then we were looking for something to watch and it was there. Funny as hell and appealed to my nerd-side! Especially the scene at Comicon at the start, I was just sitting there going 'JEALOUS!' :P

I tried this last night and struggled to get any kills, the bots just ran away <_< I tried range guild luring and it didn't work either, gonna give Karamja another shot today :)

We can't toggle the censor on our forums so it stays on ;) Also, at least at the moment, there's no change to our rules on censorship so if you post an image with words that we censor, we'll remove it and deal with it.

It takes time. Just take it one step at a time, the earlier floors have poor XP. Make sure you're resetting right (do it once you've no more floors left to complete). I'm not big on DG tips but for the first levels, you just have to find your footing in the skill.

let's get this straight. you don't have to fish to make money. you can go do other things that don't suck for money. stop acting helpless to justify why you like doing easy things (yes, fishing is easy, it's like 60 actions per hour). yes, they contribute less. fishing contributes less effort than soloing dagannoth kings - not only is it risk free, it takes about one fiftieth the effort. this is runescape, not america - you actually can be anything you want to be. you aren't forced to fish. and being stubborn isn't a good reason either. This is RUnescape indeed, a game with 25 skills, all made by Jagex to be part of the game.. YES part of the game, so made to be PLAYED.. If this was not the case Jagex could have just added stores to sell these goods, leaving gathering out altogether. You may consider one skill inferior to an other, but that just shows how limited your way of thinking is. If you were in charge Runescape would basically just be a multiplayer shooter game.. earn money killing , spend it to increase your gear.. There are enough games like this.. I can even go as far as to say the only true runescape players are people who do every part of the game.. since all these parts ARE Runescape. A total player, not just a skiller, just a pker, just a bosshunter.. etc . But I won't , Runescape is also the game of endless opportunities, which means it can and should be enjoyed by everyone in every LEGAL, NON CHEATING way possible. That includes gatherers! Hear hear. To everyone who quoted me... THIS. I often consider myself a 'skiller' because I often take their stance on many issues and attacks by people who don't like skillers when, in fact, I prefer a much more balanced game. If you looked at my skills you'd see that I spread them out, I do what skill I want to do when I want to do it and that is the way the game should be played. Jagex did, indeed, create 25 skills. Yes, some might be more useful or profitable than others but it is nobody's place to say what skills are better than others, unless it is just their own opinion which, sadly, often doesn't happen. Opinion isn't fact.

Of course you wouldn't complain. You don't use these methods to live on. I, and many others, have to spend hours and hours fishing to somehow accumulate money. Just because you can be nice and happy having cheap sharks does NOT make it right. Yep, I agree with you. Skillers often feel the harsh end of the stick, God knows why, it's not like they contribute less to the game or are a minority. So I'm often confused as to why Jagex just ignore this huge group of players in favour of pleasing the 'herp derp I hit something with a metal stick' crowd. And yes, ForsakenMage (Ami) is, in fact, a girl ;)

In reference to the poll, I actually fall somewhere in the middle of the two extremes. I do spend time making armour if I can, or skilling if I need, but I'll also play as efficiently as I can within those ideas. I don't hang around the base doing very little while people are out clearing GDs. I keep with the action as much as I can, trying to advance the level at a decent pace. I've never played with 'super efficient' people where you've no time to breathe, let alone skill, but I've played with people who just know what they're doing and get it done.

I can understand where you're coming from! I've been lucky enough to have weeks landing on first the initial announcement, then the confirmation two weeks later. I've tried to stay fairly in the middle of the issue. My first article tackled what a shambles the '"referendum" aka failed poll' really was in trying to be fair. Then my second article tackled how strange it was that they could promise it in 2 weeks and what might happen if they screwed things up. I've tried hard, and I hope that people can appreciate this given my past... ruthlessness in some issues, to stay somewhere near the middle. I personally voted "no" because I was happy with how things were, I didn't fancy being put off by the Wildy and I didn't fancy having the GE be messed up for a while, it wasn't a hatred of the "yes" or a particular aversion to the updates, just a feeling of "What's wrong now?". I don't have any of the issues that people had with Free Trade or PKing. But... I'm finding the updates to work fairly well for me, the GE is starting to stabilise (thank God) and life goes on... As for what articles we'll be talking about from now on, I can't say. I think that we've exhausted Wildy/Free Trade for a while but, come on, the first week of the Times after their return HAS to focus solely on the updates. We'd be out of touch with the community if we didn't ;)
