10:51, just got up. Not too bad, I was up until 2am last night watching Comic Relief, I practically watched the whole bloody thing. I donated £10 by text as well, so I guess that makes me a good person :P

This should definitely improve the site if it works :) My main qualm with the site is that, the main site in particular, can be fairly slow to load pages (not seriously slow, but a good second or so more than other sites).

JMods can't trade players though, so even though they can spawn whatever inv they want, they can't trade it.

Getting maxed is a big deal, getting maxed with 120 Dung, quests, tasks ect is even bigger... I really hope to God that it doesn't have any melee stats so you don't whine about it. You're wronger than you can imagine, calling me a brainless grinder is ridiculously laughable, do you even KNOW me? I'm one of the biggest proponents this site has for not grinding mindlessly skills that you don't want to train. I don't believe in efficiency for efficiency's sake, you're implying I believe in doing all skills no matter what. When, I believe in doing the skills you want to do and not disrespecting anyone that doesn't enjoy the same skills you do, the game has so many skills for a reason. It (supposedly) makes the game more freeform but, in reality, it is slowly distilling down skills so they're nothing more than aids for melee combat. I really hope the cape doesn't have any melee stats, melee isn't the be-all and end all.

I am paying Membership to acess content and also get update to game right? For me melee updates are the one that's fun. Now IFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF Uber cape has better or much better stats than current capes, OFC i want it. So though "i have" the option to not do all that's needed to get a Uber cape, the desire for a great cape will force you to do all that's required to obtain it. And if you Rachya don't see a problem with that, then i have nothing more to say. The desire for a great cape will NOT force you if you have a modicum of common sense. That cape is for people who either have pretty much beaten the game, or are intending to. Do you honestly think that many people will go for that cape just if it has stats? We don't even know if it HAS stats and we've no reason to believe it even will.

I think the capes should all have minimal stats. And in particular the Uber cape. Because if you love Melee - Strength, attack and defence, but not Dungeoneering and getting 99 in all skills. Then you will not be able to get Uber cape if it turns out to have crazy melee stats. Seriously, why should a player who loves 3 skills have to get 99 in all skills as well reach CRAZY 104M/120 dungeoneering? So with that said, i hope that all capes are decorative and if they do have stats that it can't compare with current capes. You do realise that, y'know, you don't *have* to do it. There's no law requiring one. If you want to waste your time maxing out for a few extra numbers, then go ahead, but don't blame Jagex for your own motives.

I'd like to say to everyone going "[bleep] the skillers, if this makes MY game better and cheaper I don't care", you are the cancer that is killing Runescape. It's that sort of attitude that is why people leave this game, and this community. Training skills is a legitimate way of making money and it should NOT be negated by combat yet again. I'm getting sick to death of this, I honestly am. Jagex [bleep] up and smack skillers in the face once more and all people can do is go YAY because it makes things cheaper for THEM. We should NOT have to boss hunt or merch to make money. I refuse to let the game be boiled down to just two things. It is simply wrong.

I have to agree patriotism is fairly strange for us in the UK. It's just not something we do. The only time you ever see flags up is when the football or rugby world cups are on :rolleyes: Such blind patriotism is strange to us. I admit that in certain Murdoch papers (ie, The Sun, our version of Fox News, Sky News would be that if there weren't regulations on neutrality), there's an attempt to bring that sort of patriotism to the country, but it's still a fairly uncommon concept. As much as I lean more towards my dislike of America, there isn't much difference between an American who learns everything from Fox News than a Brit who learns everything from The Sun.

I can't see anything wrong with his explanation and he clearly states Jagex's reasoning for not doing a rollback. But if you feel it is enough to leave the game over, well, goodbye I guess? Add it to the long list of failures which Jagex have produced recently. Poorly produced quests, hand-held gameplay, the wilderness, etc etc. I'd rather save my £3.20 a month. Yeah, instead of all these thousands of hours of gameplay Jagex provide you can (almost) buy a McDonalds once a month!

It takes a natural disaster like this for us to wake up and realise that we're not worth [cabbage] against this. We think we're so high and mighty, the height of intelligence and sophistication, but all it takes is mother nature and some water to cause so much chaos and death. I remember reading that the Japanese Government weren't taking foreign donations at first, I suppose as a matter of pride. I also read some quite lovely things about how Japanese celebrities were going out, themselves, and rescuing victims. One person tweeted this singer that they were stuck somewhere and barely seconds later the singer tweeted them back telling them to stay where they were, keep warm, and that he was coming over himself to save him. Artists have been using their road crews and buses to help transport people, not to mention a lot of them donate millions of Yen, as well as their time. It's rather amazing. Makes me wonder if our own celebrities would go and do something like that. The thought of 'Jordan' going out to do something like that just makes me laugh.

This discussion again. Why is it that you don't find girls huddling around asking why more guys don't wear makeup? But guys ask why more girls don't play games? Y'know? As much as I'm all for girls playing games, the average girl might not want to put up with the pathetic advances, idiotic comments and general sexism that you get when you're a girl playing a game like Runescape.
