Herb farming
This is a sure bet, with jujus/secateurs/supercompost. All torstol is worth it but I think you need Greenfingers and perhaps even higher tiers/remote farm.

Training Summoning with no Clue
Slayer's not a very fast way to gather pure charms at higher levels. I don't know about lower levels, the monsters are all different of course, so it may well be worth it. But just to remember for later on, that slayer is really bad for everything except that you also get the highest slayer xp rate with it, so the rest is all 'free' bonus.

summoning training
Oops so you said indeed. My bad .

Training With Chinchompas
Without void/extremes/rigour etc., you'll get about 200k xp/hr using about 1100-1200 chins I believe.

Got 96 fletching, another dungeoneering challenge so +200k xp, did some Livid during the fletching and reached 350k produce. Yay :). Edit: Next day, also dg challenge +200k xp, 360k produce reached, out of arrows now :(. Have 410k finished ones.

summoning training
Since the OP is 72 summoning, golds and greens can go towards getting that 72-80 gap filled. Golds are for barker toads, greens for fruit bats. 4000 golds and 3100 greens are about 720k xp together, so you still need 300-400k more to get a yak straight away. But if you run the greens and part of the golds on the xp weekend you'll make it no problem.

Good day today, got about 300-400k dg xp (challenge 124k - lol), also got & bound blood neck and finally bound pba over prom 2h. Played the chinchompa minigame and it's pretty nice.

Whisper & Subjugation
That's exactly why Subjugation is far better for PvM and 1v1 or small team PvP. It lacks the massive health boost that Virtus has so if you were barraging in Soul Wars for example you should probably stick to Virtus. But that's an obscure use.

OK OK... For 99, I'd say go for it. For 98, it's... borderline. If you're bored of talons, go for it. One massive advantage you have is that your seconds won't be affected in price. Geysers always have streaks of being borderline not worth it, you can make one of the elemental titans instead, iirc earth talismans are very cheap usually. Managed to buy some earths - should end up costing about 4.4gp/xp. Will probably just go for 96 for yaks. Also why still no D&D? 4.4 is not too bad, 96 is very nice. I'd go for 99 if you can get it in one jump. It may be slightly optimistic to find people on my blog to play D&D. Anyway, used Gofannon amulet and two clan rings to get 96 mining, used two instakill darts at Nex (brew+rest and coal drops) and got an effigy (summ - mine - fm - agil, lamped agil) and 40 blues, so that's nice. Also flipped the ceremonial mask by accident (+50k). Edit: 96 smithing too. Two levels in one day!

Hunter training (BXW)
I think hunter spots will be crowded on the double xp weekend. Orange salamanders will be some of the least crowded, red salamanders and draconic jadinkos the most. I'd recommend jadinko hunting anyhow, all the way up to 99. You can use this guide. Monkey Knife Fighters are faster than PP.

Glacors
To add to what Leik said, iron/steel are great for kill speed, unicorn is great if you lack SS, but with SS pre-titan you can use a wolper to save on magic pots (it's also the best combat familiar at that level). However you still need to boost melee stats if you melee the glacytes.

Finished the reworked Doric's Quest, Death Plateau and the post-quest tasks. Also got a 16 mithril ceremonial sword task which means lots of smithing xp for free :). Forgot to use my smithing pendant though -.-.

Groups and Tasks
You could try PvmS (Stev's clan) and TMHT for starters. Depending on your quests/equipment you may not be able to join certain clans.

Ah, nice that they reference it. Thanks :).

I noticed there's a wolfbane dagger on Doric's workbench. Wonder what that's about?

Barraging.
Last I checked it was roughly 4k per crim. Which is a long time ago, mind you. I think 30m will go a long way towards 88 summoning.

Steel titan/other familiars versus clan avatar
In non-cannon multi (e.g. chaos tunnels) the titan will up xp/hr by 20-30% easily, perhaps up to 40% for things like waterfiends (since they must be fought with crush weapons, which have lower raw dps than your average slayer weapon, while titans seem to hit equally well). When cannoning, it's less, but still 10% no problem. Of course, the titan also costs money, and because you kill faster, you get more drops as well, especially effigies and charms being important here.

Which 99?
For a fast easy 99 definitely go with cooking or firemaking. Runecrafting is pretty afk too but not nearly as fast. Magic is fast and reasonably afk when barraging but costly, same deal with ranged and prayer.
-
Tracker Auras
I think the first stage is definitely cheap enough, the fourth probably too expensive, just based on a hunch. Hunter is in the end not all that slow, and the chance of catching the best catch (draconic jadinkos) is fairly high, so I wouldn't go for higher tier auras.

Barrows - Minimum Requirements Barrows
Basically: Get your magic damage % boost up as high as you can: arcane necklaces, Subjugation robes etc. Boost your magic level: Vecna's, magic potions. Boost your magic attack bonus: Ahrim's robes, Dagon'Hai robes Prayer bonus is less useful in the Barrows than usual. You don't need defence bonus since you'll be using protect prayers. You need a secondary attack style for Ahrim since you can't mage him, ranged is best, otherwise you may just want to ignore Ahrim. Bring a ranged top and weapon (rune crossbow works). For the tunnels, praying 24/7 is annoying and costly so it's recommended to bring high-melee defence body/leg armour and maybe a shield. Guthan's and dragonfire work nicely. So, your inventory would be: 3 armour switches for tunnels 2-3 switches for Ahrim Vecna's skull, 2 magic potions and a ranged potion for Ahrim 5-10 prayer potions ~5 pieces of food just in case for the tunnels A teleport (house tablets recommended) Leaving a few spaces for loot.
