Barrows - Minimum Requirements Barrows
Just as a fun note, it is possible to kill lots of KQs in a trip, it's just annoying to do because you need to ss flash a lot. Magic hits surprisingly well and blood barrage can sustain you. Of course, the KQ has an average drop of about 30k gold, so it's not really worth hunting her anyway.

99 Slayer.
I wouldn't block dark beasts or bother with skipping ice strykes as they are over 50k xp/hr and have decent effigy rates. Strykes are also one of the few profitable tasks, which helps. Abyssals are nice with Storm of Armadyl, but if you are spending that much money on slayer, your list is completely different anyway.

Alch profits
Basically what Country Devil said, you will take a lot longer to reach your goal if you take a method that is too cheap. Magic is a really versatile skill, so mostly your training method should be based on what secondary benefits you want. For example: Superheating gold with gauntlets for magic and smithing xp. Bursting or barraging rock lobsters for magic and summoning xp. Hunting ganodermic creatures with Storm of Armadyl for magic xp and a little money. Stringing amulets for magic xp and low attention scaping. Baking pies for magic and cooking xp. Not all of these are so easy to get started on, but that's how you got to look at this question :).

200M in all Skills
1634 rocktails in 15437 attempts without the aura 2624 rocktails in 22796 attempts with tier 1 aura That's a 8.7% increase. We cant figure out how the aura bonus is applied. Wouldn't it be similar to the strength level boost from prayers? You get a % boost to the catch rate, plus a base rate which isn't boosted?

Barrows - Minimum Requirements Barrows
You get the same amount of xp per damage total, but strength and attack increase your damage output more than defence, so focused training on those is best. Attack is only good if you unlock new weapons.

99 order?
Some skills benefit other skills, for example firemaking benefits woodcutting (adze helps with dropping, also trains firemaking losslessly). Some elite diaries help training as well (Varrock for mining/smithing for example). I suggest going for taskmaster first, and focusing on maxing second.

Legitimate Reasons to Raise All Skill Caps to 120+
Quite the opposite really. Each level offers a smaller dps increase (in %) than the previous, unless you unlock new equipment.

Congratulations . (get 99 summoning :)?)

How many casts?
I would not use battle robes to cast bursts, because the runes are so much cheaper than those for barrage, to the point of the robes not being worth it. But since you can't barrage, maybe you might as well (do you care for Hybrid gloves?). Anyway, you can assume roughly 350 crimsons per 1k casts?

bonus xp, and loyalty points
I would go with summoning because it'll help your slayer/combat training a lot. Iron titan especially, as it will train your defence nicely.

OK bit late but worth mentioning the bonus xp got me 98 agility yesterday, and I used an instakill dart each on the QBD and Sunfreet (because I cba thinking about them), going to use the next two at Nex.

resource box
Red dragons are far from a bank, further than any other dragon I think (except maybe iron/steel off-task, though Ghorrock is pretty doable). I'm not sure how the kill speed/price per hide compares though.

familiars in beta
Familiars need more work, their health hasn't really been changed at all/sufficiently (steel titan has over 6x the health of a player normally, since it can't heal). But steel titans are very powerful rangers and will hit easy 1k+ with a special.

01 Oct, 2012 - Behind the Scenes October
Sounds like a good enough months, holiday events tend to be hit-and-miss, quest reworks are cool, KBD and the dungeon reworks are great as is the Duel Arena. Not that much totally new content but a reworked quest is still a new quest!

Should I burst/barrage?
I don't know if the EoC charm rates are different, but I don't think drop rates have been changed at all.

Legitimate Reasons to Raise All Skill Caps to 120+
Imo there is no reason to increase the level cap. There is an amount of content spread out across the levels. If it fits, you're good - and currently it fits very well, there's sooner too little than too much content per level. It takes an amount of time to reach the highest level. If it's 'reasonable' (according to RS standards), you're good. Currently, comp caping is still very much reserved for a small group of players, less than a percent of the player base (about 2913 by total level). So I'd say that is sooner too exclusive than too easy to obtain. I would rather see a lot more high-level quests. 80+ if not 90+ level requirements.

Congratulations on that iron titan, it's great :).

What's happened with Rock Lobsters?
Well, other than a nerf, the only thing I can think of is that your lures have become so minimal (= efficient) that you never left the area of unagressiveness.

The Evolution of Combat: BETA discussion
I think the best way to provide an incentive for beta testing is allowing up to, say, 50k xp per skill per week to be transferred from the Beta to the live game. With the broken xp rates and free resources, that would be popular.

Q
Actually logged in today, did the new quests. They are fun. With the 1k xp reward total (+ about 50k xp from the spins I got as rewards) I am now closer than ever to maxing! *cough*. Also traded in my Bandos, Glaivens, Ragefires and some cash in for Virtus top and Subjugation boots. Can't be bothered getting the rest of that set because come EoC Virtus will be better anyway, and 1300+ lp is pretty nice. But the boots are actually 3m cheaper which is just about the cash I have left now :P.

Should I burst/barrage?
That entirely depends on how soon you want to be using your steel titan. EoC is planned for release late October at the earliest I believe, so you would have to wait a month. Rock lobster charm rates may be altered though, and I don't think barraging will be quite so simple after the update goes live. That is, assuming barraging has been established as the best way for you to level summoning.
