Barrows advice/questions
1) Lose the dragon boots and obsidian cape, use mystic and god cloak instead (cloak is free, mystic boots are cheaper than dragon even). 2) Freeze the melee brothers and sidestep. 3) Considering the above, lose the healing and heavy armour, instead focus more on magic accuracy and damage. 4) Considering the above, do not tank Karil or Ahrim, but instead pray on them. Bring a good ranged weapon (Karil's crossbow) for Ahrim. 5) Considering the above, bring more pray pots.

Members advice after 2 years away
Read ^That explains slayer gear. Slayer is not as fast as powertraining in terms of melee xp but it's the fastest way to max attack/defence/strength/hitpoints/ranged/summoning/slayer together.

Getting back into the game, typical questions like, "woah, what's Summoning/Dungeoneering?"
The base slayer gear is as follows (alternatives in brackets): [For all slayer monsters except those mentioned under other weapons] Chaotic rapier (whip) Bandos body + legs (Verac's skirt with either fighter torso or proselyte top) [Depending on prayer/accuracy needs] Fire cape/Soul Wars cape/Ardougne cloak 3 Barrows gloves (your best rfd gloves, at least rune) Dragon boots (rune boots) Amulet of fury (glory) Dragon defender (rune defender) Berserker ring (i)/ferocious ring if slaying in Kuradal's Dungeon (berserker ring, warrior ring) [Most important] Full slayer helmet. [For magic defence on waterfiends/aquanites] Karil's top and elite void skirt (black dragonhide body and chaps) [Crush attacks to use on waterfiends] Chaotic maul (Saradomin sword, Zamorakian spear) [stab attacks for higher-levelled dragons, when not using rapier] Korasi's sword (Zamorakian spear, leaf-bladed sword) Task-specific items such as mirror shields, antifire shields/potions, elemental shields, rock hammers, crystal chimes Cannon (optional, up to personal preference) Slayer setups generally emphasise strength bonus, which increases the average damage of each succesful hit (slayer monsters usually having rather low defence, hitting is not a problem). Secondly, prayer bonus is important to keep the cost of prayer potions down (as you slay with piety on, to increase the speed of your kills. This is cost-effective and highly recommended). As a rule of thumb, +10 prayer bonus or above is good, but don't overdo it (anything above +20 is a waste). Defence and accuracy bonus are usually not fretted over (any defence bonus over 200 will do; if you get hit too often you should be using a protection prayer). Dagganoth, black demon, black dragon, blue dragon, lesser demon, hellhound, bloodveld and spectre tasks should be cannoned, as it dramatically increases xp rates (although it costs a bit). Some notes on gear: You'll want a fury and a berserker ring before you get bandos plate, and get that before tassets. You'll want accuracy bonus on higher-levelled dragons; if using stab attacks (which you should) you can use the Ardougne cloak 3 which provides you with +6 stab and +6 prayer bonus. Torso + sw cape and fire cape + proselyte are common cheap top/cape combinations; the former is better. Some levels to get for slayer (in approximate order but I'm not sure on the summoning): 68 summoning - bunyip 81 dungeoneering (you need 2 million xp, which takes you to level 80, but allowing some tokens for the scroll of life) - rapier 89 herblore (85 with a +4 stew boost) - extreme potions, superantifires 95 prayer - turmoil and soul split 88 summoning - unicorn 96 herblore (91 with a +5 stew boost) - overload 99 summoning - steel titan I'm sure I missed something but this is most of it. If you don't know an item or level, you can use the Tip.It database, RSwiki or just Google :).

Quick ranged training
The fastest ranged xp will go over 300k/hr easily but of course as your ranged/summoning levels aren't 99 that's not possible. I think you can still look for 250-300k/hr at least. Chins are worth it at all levels provided you make the cash. Use void, deflector preferred, with a soul wars cape (fury if you like slightly longer trips, ranging amulet otherwise), ranger's boots, archer's ring (i) and chins of course. Go to Ape Atoll. Look in the AOW for good guides by Bedman and Pachelbel. If you get the last summoning level for a geyser titan, that will train ranged for you as well (not sure how much, 10k xp/hr?).

Leveling Hunter 71-74
300 k extra from those 3 runs. But its silly to not take into account all the runs you'll be able to do total when realistically you arent going to stop doing herb runs ever because the cash is so nice. 70-72 hunter if he gets only one ugene seed will net him almost 3.5 mil extra across all the farming runs he does from the juju's he gets from that one seed. I'm not sure what you're trying to argue here... It's silly to take into account all the runs from that 1 seed. You pretend that you won't have another seed while the potions from the first seed are in your bank .

Weapon Stats
If your accuracy is low (under 50%), equal amounts of attack and strength bonus will contribute equally to dps. E.g. +10 stab would increase your long-term damage output just as much as +10 strength (using stab of course). If your accuracy is over 50% strength bonus is more valuable than attack bonus provided your opponent has enough health (more than your max hit at least). There is no monster in Gielinor where these rules really conflict, as everything you can 1-hit has low defence as well.

/obt/
2190 total, 6 more for all 80s and 4 more for Falador elite so that works out nicely with 2200 total assuming I can hold of other levels which I can't. Yes, this is now MY blog.

Sara Sword & Zammy Spear
Where are you guys pulling these numbers from :-o? Ancient cavern fiends are up to 130 crims/hr. The difference between ss and zspear is only like 5 charms, and the difference between ss and maul only another 5.

Leveling Hunter 71-74
70-72 hunter (let's assume that makes the difference) takes almost 150k xp, two hours and a bit at salamanders and about 4 at jadinkos. You get three additional farm runs with juju at most if you do jadinkos from the start. That's not 3.5m but more like 300k.

Leveling Hunter 71-74
They arent slow enough to justify going to another spot. You will not need the additional seeds provided in ~200k hunter xp ever, unless you intend to get like 20m mining but only 85 hunter. I got rates of 100/hr at level 71, that's twice as slow as salamanders.

Leveling Hunter 71-74
Actually tieszen commons are really slow xp at level 70. I'd say get 71 or 72 then hunter pot + bear to get a decent catch rate.

Staking
Let's imagine you are max melees. No gear. Your max hit is 112 on accurate or defensive, 115 on agressive. Your max attack and defence rolls are the same, but 115 on accurate and defensive respectively of course. Now the idea of style switching is that you have accurate active when you hit, and defensive when your opponent hits. Effectively giving you the advantage of both 115 attack and defence rolls.

Waterfiend camping
http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=waterfiends.htm ^Tip.it guide is up-to date. I bring 3 ovl 10 ppot (need only 9 with sw cape, more with fcape) and a unicorn, but with ss you don't need a unicorn. In your case you don't have ss and you don't have a unicorn so I'd go with prot range + bunyip. You can use eee specs, maybe that can even cover for not using prot range.

How could I make money?
^Although slayer can average like 500k/hr it's more efficient to speed it up cannoning & making the money at frosts.

How many hours does it take to get all 99's
Completionist (t) requires 5000 Castle Wars games @ 25 minutes each, just a little over 2080 hours. Then, Champion's Challenge. I'm not sure but the drop rates are like 1/10,000 I think. You can cannon pretty much each monster, maybe chin/barrage mummies. But even so I think it'd be ~50 hours per scroll (averaged, got no data to back this up :P) which puts you at 650 hours for this. Then chompy birds, I'm not sure on the kills per hour but I imagine it's a bit more than one per minute, say 50 hours for the lot? That's all I care to do for now :P.

What accuracy are you talking then? I calculated before that you need some serious accuracy with magic to get close to melee. Of course if you mean max magic versus 80's melees, that's a different story.

Steam Runecrafting
You craft the runes for Ourania teleport at the altar, no need to carry them. I personally carry air runes to pay the banker as well to repair my pouches (NPC contact takes airs, but you don't craft many at 75+ rc). At 75 rc you're talking 60 essence per run with familiar or 53 without, from 50 to 75 you can carry 49 or 42. So that's 11/60th loss or up to 11/53rd loss, but still way under a quarter, so if you take the max rate at 60-65k, you lose ~12k xp/hr + whatever you lose for crafting lower-levelled runes. That puts you at a neat 45k max xp rate or thereabouts.

Gwyn got it, should also be noted that the Ardougne cloak has +6 stab, not +5 ;). So that would explain why it's the best cape at, for example, corp without swh.

Sorry I misworded that, I meant to say offensive bonus. The rest of what I said is still valid.

Ranged Calculator
http://forum.tip.it/topic/262966-monster-experience/ That has some good data on xp/damage.

Mithril Dragons
1) A fighter hat has more strength bonus than any helmet, so naturally it would give more dps than any other weapon if your accuracy is already low. This goes for the Ardougne cloak too. 2) I don't think those tests show that onyx ring (i) > berserker ring (i), in fact I'd be surprised, as they are using the formulas that predict that the berserker ring is superior. All in all I think you just misread the topic a bit ;).

Next Goal?
Personally I say go for a higher agility level, you are 99 crafting so it's be good for you to be able to open effigies with agility. The same with rc, herblore, construction, mining, thieving. You need: 92 agility 93 thieving 89 hunter 95 mining 94 construction 95 runecrafting (Oldak) To be able to reliably boost for your effigies. Then cannon cave crawlers for max total :D.

Void Mage
Void usually (with range and melee) works after the raw max accuracy is calculated e.g. after str and gear bonus are multiplied. So void mage is pretty good, but then again there are rumours it only works on one target (if using multi-target spells). It's probably the best hybrid gear at low defence.
-
85 mining
Concentraded gold is awesome. Bring mining urns and juju potions and a mining-boosting familar, low-alch or superheat + drop the ores and you can do some serious mining xp.

Mithril Dragons
Let's be clear here - you're talking about EQUAL attack and strength bonusus, where the attack bonus would give you greater dps than the strength bonus if your opponent has sufficient defence? I'd like to see your theory on that then.
