  1. A friend of mine is desperately looking for a certain animated gif of santa claus jumping up and ringing a bell It should be from christmas 2005 if i recall properly. Does anybody happen to have a link to this image by any chance?
  2. 1. 24 hours to brew 2. very very low, less than 10% 50% chance with the stuff 3. sry mate dont have any
  3. 50750 total xp 1200 xp per door so 50750/1200
  4. 89.96 at 129 combat
  5. onyx ring is usually better, but every now and then u'll run into slayer tasks with ridiculously low defense IE dust devils and fire giants. Those are the only tasks i personally use berserker(i) over onyx
  6. wow, i never thought of using it for that! duh! thanks for the idea  if ur looking to buy food, i believe mackerels sell for 5 gp ea and heal 6 hp few things are cheaper
  7. just FYI SC hammers smith multi bar items like platebodies much slower than regular hammers also consider smelting gold ores with gold gauntlets. With the drop in price of gold ores and the rise in price of other bars, they have become viable again
  8. if you do keep a log that large I would seriously worship you for... a few months (we'll talk) so yeah total xp gained after the casts and total # of 0's and splashes would exactly what I've been looking for <3:
  9. well there happens to be a tip.it guide on barbarian training =D but if you want a quick answer, you just need to speak to otto about it. Or maybe you already did speak to Otto. in this case 2 things could have happened a. you missed a dialogue topic =D b. there is a prerequisite action that needs to take place before you can learn barbarian potion making, you must learn barbarian fishing for example im not sure if this applies to barbarian smithing as well, the tip.it guide does not go into detail. So if you spoke to otto and still cant barbarian smith, try completing other barbarian tasks and going back to him http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=barbarian_training.htm
  10. That's interesting, I've yet to meet anyone else that thinks void mage is better than mystic. Then again I don't know many people that use void mage. I don't suppose you've kept a log of hits vs no hits during your maging escapades at any point? I'd love to see it if you've have. nobody i know can really tell me for sure how exactly runescape's accuracy system works, so i can only run around and make blind stabs in the dark and see what looks simplistic and generally jagex-ish. Considering that even you say ahrims > void mage, i personally won't invest my time in getting void mage just to test the theory. but any data would be absolutely terrific.
  11. my bad your comment stated: so i wasn't sure if you meant void was better or not aside from the defensive qualities
  12. full void magic is an utter failure, mystic beats it by far, ahrims beats it even further. full void magic gives +30% to your magic accuracy but full mystic gives +44 to your equipment magic attack the +44 usually translates to more than a +30% magic accuracy bonus. I guess you failed to read the part about Void having a 100* better defense :wall: Keep your uneducated opinions to yourself? Void Mage, when used for tanking, beats any other maging armour. It's probably the best armour to use when it comes to aviansies. That's true. Void mage does have much more defense. I just thought the issue of the offensive capabilities of void mage vs mystic was not addressed.

  14. an hour a fruit
  15. altaring is ~ 1.8 seconds a bone ignoring teleport time and time lighting marrentils grinding bones takes ~ 5 seconds a bone ignoring tele/walking time collecting ectoplasm also takes ~ 5 seconds a bone ignoring tele/walking time offering the bones takes about 0.6 seconds a bone, ignoring tele/walking time and time collecting ectotokens needless to say, ectofuntus is at least 5 times slower
  16. with 80+ all stats at the SC Claymates chat net me about 4-5 tools per hours SC hammer lasts for 64125 smithing xp total, 32062.5 boosted xp more details on how much xp you gain per tool can be found here: http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Morphic_Tool
  17. how about an obsidian splitsword? that fits within your price range right?
  18. u can always use your superior locator in place of the adze
  19. I'm just gonna bring this up because nobody else has you should not use any charms yet. The higher your level, the more xp you get per charm. I got to ~80 summoning off of nothing but barker toads, spirit terrorbird pouches, penguins, and the 400k xp from While Guthix Sleeps. I've made some swamp titans and granite lobsters since out of impatience, but right now at 93 summoning i am stockpiling crimsons for iron titans and pack yaks. The more you refrain from using charms early on, the more it will benefit you in the long run If you're in it just for charms, you should really listen to bladewing here. There are only 3 slayer tasks assigned by duradel where you can expect to get more than 1 crimson charm every 2 kills. And these are skeletal wyverns, black demons, and waterfiends. But you should really train slayer for the sake of training slayer.
  20. Good Combat blows all skills out of the water Armadyl GWD and Tormented demons in particular i know some people are going to say "oh that's just luck so you can't put a gp/hour on it" but i'm going to squash that right now Using rune crossbow, broad bolts, godsword, piety, and eagle eye, I can and have killed tormented demons solo at a rate of 16 kills per hour, breaking even on supplies from non-dragon drops. Dying is not a problem because it is easy to run back to your grave within 6 minutes so long as you have a spare sapphire lantern. If you look at any guide, they will estimate the drop rate of claws to be 1 in 200 to 300 lets say claws sell for 35 mil, and lets assume we break even on everything else, and the drop rate is 1/250. at 16 kills per hour this is 2240k gp/hour in fact you would need to go roughly 2 standard deviations below the average drop rate in order for the income to drop to 1 mil gp/hour THERE IS ONLY A 5% CHANCE OF EARNING LESS GP/HOUR @ TORMENTED DEMONS THAN BY RUNECRAFTING I've never been to armadyl GWD but i've been told that it is even superior to tormented demons. I mean sure there are other great skill based money makers out there that can earn over 1 mil gp/hour BUT these money makers are for the most part secrets to a handful of people, and would stop making that much gp/hour if those secrets were leaked. Armadyl GWD and Tormented Demons are known to be good money makers by everyone, and they STILL ARE AMAZING. In contrast the best skill based money makers like 91 runecrafting make on the order of 1 mil gp/hour
  21. each hammer lasts for: 64,125 smithing xp, not 33000
  22. the rise of furies is not due to PVP it's because of the personalized shop update before the shop update, selling obsidian weapons were the best way to collect tokkul Now the best way is selling fire runes, which is extremely tedious, slow, and only somewhat profitable. unless jagex makes it easier to collect onyx gems, current estimates indicate that furies won't stop rising until 5mil-6mil gp
  23. it should have worked just like you said. I've done it multiple times myself are you SURE you did it right? never hurts to double check
  24. i believe juna says the light creatures are guthixian though which is strange, crystal definitely rings of seren. Either jagex is inconsistent or maybe this is the daeyaelt ores @ elven lands all over again (although the recent postbag did mention a vampyre drinking the blood of an elven girl) zamorak made himself into a god, Unless Seren was once not a god, i do not believe seren would have a species outside of simply being a god
  25. buy it off GE :D otherwise stick fruit harvested from crops that require 50+ farming to grow into the bin 15 fruit per bin. Stick it in, close the lid, and in ~1 hour come back with 15 buckets to empty the super compost you find inside. I find it convenient to buy the 80 pineapples from arhein @ catherby (talk to him, don't trade) and use those you can also use the compost mound and its special ability
