amulet of zealots is pretty good with curses Merc gloves are good for Nex. ;) 1 more ranged attack than barrows gloves, but sacrifices so much defence, and other offensive bonuses? It's like amulet of ranging all over again, unless I'm missing something. From my nex team's experiences, we get better damage output by flat out ranging nex. so the +1 ranged attack and +2 magic defense is very useful if you're not gonna bother with melee.

it's useful if your ranging low defense monsters for... champion scrolls or something else like that. since you don't really need range accuracy, and it's not like furies or w/e boost your damage output. but for melee you want a fury and magic you want an arcane stream. So only if you're ranging.

with a celestial cat staff, fire surge can beat out the DPS of a primal 2h without turmoil. I'd say that's pretty good. it's definitely not obsolete. Ranging without a hex, now that's obsolete :P.

Essentially, yes. Her magic attack rarely, if ever, misses. Her melee attack misses uncommonly, but noticeably. Sacrificing melee defense for ranged defense seems kind of an odd choice. Honestly, risk doesn't bother me. At one point I was tempted to wear a set of Armadyl blessed D'hide and join the teams that required Karils/Arma. Karils has its uses, but I'm not sure Nex is one of them. actualy there is an extreme point where it matters full morrigans + eeks she misses abotu 1 out of 3 attacks, same case with pernix full arma + eeks she misses about 1 out of 4, or maybe even 30% yeah, there's some reason to believe that the relationship between nex's accuracy and your magic defense isn't of the form that we'd normally expect. it's quite possible that nex has some sort of magic-armor piercing ability. Of course a number of other explanations are possible. But several players seem to observe nontrivial splashing for armadyl/morrigans armor. But her magic attack seemingly never misses at *slightly* lower magic defense

bronze and iron u can buy from crossbow shops (they're mostly located in dwarven areas + lowes sells bronze crossbows) no shops sell steel crossbows and higher.

But Korschei, who is suspected to be Kharshai, has a zamorakian emblem on his chest. ========================================================= Akthanakos vs Enakhra seems like an obvious match up, as the duo have been fighting each other for thousands of years. Zemouregal vs Wahisietel seems likely in my opinion. As Wahisietel has gotten a hold of Arrav's heart. Bilrach and Azzanadra share the common trait that they are both the two followers that are working the hardest to bring their respective gods back to the realm. But it's hard to say if the two of them would be an even match up, or if Bilrach is even alive or sane anymore. based on the following quote from mod mark in regards to sliske: "Mod Mark: Not his own quest, but you may well call on his support in the near future. He is one of my favourite characters, actually, along with Rantz. :)" It sounds like Sliske will not be someone we will fight. But perhaps he might help our main character defeat another mahjarrat.

no, not all urns give same bonus. Smelting gets about 1 to 1 xp ratio perhaps even higher gold ores excluded of course.

Yeah they're the same storyline. But it's better to think of WGS is the lucien substory within ROTM. as there are many mahjarrat. well we know Sliske unleashed Nex and the barrows bros. So I'd imagine he might use them to fight with him.

And presumably the bulk of them is currently tied up with ROTM5 ROTM5? ritual of the mahjarrat I'd like to believe that in MOTM5, we get to watch a Majharrat getting sacrificed on one of their ritual altars. You know, all that energy soaked into that one stone. Hopefully the Soul Altar. Would be a great way to put it in *keeps dreaming* :rolleyes: if it were just a sacrifice, I don't think more than a single mahjarrat would die. the mahjarrat are very political, the wouldn't let that happen. From the sound of it, the ritual is going to be crashed and the mahjarrat will be massacred.

Nex doesn't need to be dumbed down. Sure the boss can't be soloed, but that doesn't make it hard. She's reasonably relaxing to get a single kill 4 man. The only challenge comes when you try to 3 man, 2 man, or of course the impossible solo. Or challenge can come from trying to get more than 1 kill per trip. but either way, she's hardly difficult. Her blood form weeds out 1-2 man teams, by healing faster than many can output damage. and the smoke form drains supplies, weeding out those who are too unlucky to get high claw specs. So much of nex's difficulty is how much you spec her for at the start of the smoke form. That the entire bossfight is kind of a gamble, rather than something that actually takes skill. it's finding teams and the rate at which Nex bleeds you for money if you don't get drops that are the problems

they said they'd do it when they can dedicate a sufficient portion of the graphics team to make the elven city look nice. The graphics team was tied up with the dungeoneering update last I checked. And presumably the bulk of them is currently tied up with ROTM5

There's a million ways to boost the drop rate. I prefer not to specify how its done. But it should be done. your idea would definitely have strange repercussions compared to say, a straight drop rate increase. Perhaps it might encourage leeching. I do like how it removes the need for splitting of loot though.

Jagex acknowledges party hats and other untradeable rares as a mistake. That's why Jagex doesn't release tradeable rares anymore. In fact if you can dig up old quotes from Jagex, you can find them openly calling tradeable rares a mistake. The new nex drops too, are a mistake in my opinion.
