Very good analysis, I agree wholeheartedly. The people using the bonecrusher are most likely just getting the xp for the hell of it, serious trainers will buy and use an altar - thus demand will stay the same while supply drops.

I'd have to say Fletching, Herblore, or similar skills. Skills like that could really use a guild that makes productioneasier and faster would be great.

There's really no point in changing it back, I think the two rune system works fine. It also gives another level for people to look forward to as they level.

How many clue scrolls have you gotten out of how many kills? Level ones rarely have any valuable loot, so I doubt this'll have too much of an effect on prices unless people actually start doing more of them just because they're easier to get. I probably won't, but that's just me.

This could have been a player mod. Jagex doesn't directly control who they mute and why, and I know all of them aren't completely up to snuff with the Jagex guidelines.

RuneScape is taking some things from other MMOs, but as a whole I believe they still have the "unique" feel they always have. I see most of the additions as improvements, especially greater focus on clans.

You can pick them right after you plant them. Generally the only ones worth picking are black and white.

Macroing is now used mostly by lazy people who want levels, as opposed to goldfarmers looking for a profit. Honestly, since they don't hog resources anymore, they make little impact on most scapers.

Personally, I thought it was fun and fairly unique among the other events they've done.

Do you get decent drops teaming bosses? It's always seemed like a gamble and too much time to me. I prefer merching partially because it'a guaranteed cash with little time put in.

Yup, that's me :D Definitely watch some FPS videos, and you'll see why people prefer them to RS ones. Just the "action" factor. TBH, it takes more skill to make a good RS Machinima - you need to work to create a storyline instead of just slicing together random kill sequences.

Merchanting all the way. Not clan "merchanting", legitimate solo merchanting and investing. It's really the only way to make incredible amounts of cash, although you need a few mil to really start out. I currently have 1.7 billion, half of it in Partyhats and the rest almost always invested in the Grand Exchange. I'd say about 50% of my profits come from investing, 24% from standard flipping, 25% from advanced flipping methods, and 1% from random skilling, etc.

I'm interested how u link Varrock to london? Geo graphically and stylistically it has nothing tht screams London more so than any other city. Also Ardougne the black plague thing is kinda bs, as irl no city walled half of itself off to try and contain the plague and as u quite quickly learn via quests there aint no plague Varrock seems to be the most English of the cities, just because of the whole feel of the area and it's relative sophistication compared to the other areas. While there was no single city with the Black Plague, the whole idea of "mourners" (people who control a diseased population), horrible diseases in a medieval themed area, etc just scream Black Plague. When you look for historical connotations, Jagex will obviously take creative liberties, but they're fairly easy to see.

But thanks for the helpful tip @overdoziz, any FPS definitely makes better videos then runescape. It's just the manner of the game. But for an RPG, I think there have been some pretty innovative vids made.

For you merchants out there, I recommend buying some infinity robes - the recoloring option is definitely going to cause a spike that'll last for a few days at least! I'm trying to buy a few sets, but they won't even come in for highest. Might have better luck with individual pieces. As for the minigame, it seems like fun - and a tackle box would be cool as well. I like how they seem to be making "all in one" tools for various skills as rewards for the new minigames.
