awesome, I got a hood yesterday. :) what exactly is the street price of a hood? I dont feel like sorting through mountians of spam on world 2 to figure it out.

I tried this, i didnt notice that much of an increase as far as total charms. waterfiends have a much higher drop rate of charms then lobs do. almost every waterfiend drops a crimson charm, but plenty of lobs do not. I tried bursting rock lobs during the triple charm drop, but I didnt get very many. I may have just been unlucky.

ahrims hood is usuful if you think you might die. It has the same magic attack as a farseer, and you dont keep it over your robes upon death. Farseer protects over ahrims robe top and bottom.

You are barraging the CT fiends? Or you could use the wolpertinger at rock lobs.

From my experience, I can get about 1k tokkul a minute. So it takes me about 45 hours to get an onyx. This is using super sets, Bandos, Rune Minotaur, and whip+defender.

i think oaks end up being cheaper xp anyway, so if you really want construction, why not sell and buy oak planks. If you dont really want construction lvls, then, yes sell them.

I go rev hunting when i get bored. I run all over the wildernes looking for revs. Multi, non multi, everything. I even kill the chaos elemental when my search leads me in that direction. I have never gotten beating by a rev, and recently, while protecting a group of people mining a star, I took out a whole pack of revs, 4 knights and an ork. Revs are a joke, I can 4 hit a knight with my whip.

you can get the reward any time you want. Just finish the quest and when you get 75 prayer later, go back and get the 450k xp from brundt. My friend waited like 4 months before he got his prayer xp.

they are great junk. You can trade them with a lend, or use them to junk trade things for far more then their gp value. They also sell eventually at minimum in the GE.

C Kite removes 20% of range damage 100% of the time. Turns a 200 into a 160 every time until it runs out. The Ely blocks 25% of the damage 70% of the time. This evens out to blocking 17.5% of all damage. If you are fighting something that does not hit above 200 lp, then why are you even considering using a shield. Rune defender is much much better.

Why don't you just try it out. Spending time arguing about math is pointless, you can make your statistics say anything you want them to and still be true. Just do 10 solo bandos trips with ely+whip and 10 bandos solo trips with chaotic kite + whip. Add up the total KC for the ely+whip and the Kite+whip. Unless im very much mistaken, someone on these forums already did, and he came to the conclusion that elysian and chaotic kite are about the same at bandos, and both are far behind divine.

i agree but I'm not a huge fan of god swords. The massive hits are quickly dismissed by lack of speed IMO. But yeah rune defender definitely speeds things up. Also the reason I am even considering buying a DFS is for the fact that my block list is nothing but Dragons- Mith, Steel, Iron, and Blacks- the main reason being for this is the need for potions as well as the antifire shield. I have no problem leaving them on there, I'm just curious as to whether or not people think they are worth doing. Also I should have mentioned this in the first post I pretty much have an ideal slayer setup with whip, rune defender, full bandos, fury ect... Oh ok. Because you said boss hunting, I suggested a godsword of some sort. If you are doing slayer then yes dfs helps, but it isnt necessary. I blocked steels, but I range black drags, and it normally only takes me 8-9 prayer potions to finish a task of Iron drags. Black drags are pretty easy in Zanaris. And banking all those hides and bones makes for a pretty high earning slayer task. Or you can go to chaos tunnels for a 20 minute task on baby black dragons, with the occaisional stealing of a green dragon kill from all the botters. Mith drags are a snap, I have the same gear as you, and I swap a anti shield for my rune defender. I use antifire potions, and pray peity and protect mage the entire time. I have a Uni, and I repot super set every 2-3 drags. I dont make any money, but its a fast task, so pretty quick slayer points. And the chance for a DFH or visage. I make plenty of money doing iron drags, they are very simple in kuradels dungeon. Task of 140+ will only take me like 9 prayer pots and 4 antifire pots. And with all the rune stuff and alchables they drop, I normally come out about 200k on top. And theres the nice prayer xp from the bones, and the chance for a visage :)

Good advice right there. Although, I remember taking a Summoning Imbuned Neitznot helmet and having something else for Saradomin. I think I used the holy symbol because it helped extend my trip (added prayer bonus) a lot more because I didn't need bonuses from glory (couldn't afford fury). Definitely get Dragon Skirt, a lot cheaper, same stats. Haha thanks, I used glory cause of the +10 range bonus. Didn't need the holy symbol cause I was tanking, not praying. After I made like 6m from it tho, I switched to sara dhide body and arma helm. I went from 70-87 range there.

If you are boss hunting, why not a gs or something. If you are looking for defense, the DFS is very usuful, but BSS is a pretty decent replacement that would allow you to spend most of your cash elsewhere. As far as slayer goes, I love the rune defender, it speeds things up alot, and helps out my dds spec tons! DFS is only really good for 1 slayer task, and that is miths. The Strength bonus you get from it is negligible. If you really need some more defense for your slayer tasks, i would go with the BSS and outfit your self with other gear too, like a fury.

Maybe you should get them to lock the old one now.

what kind of music is it? Also, Rockin The Boat by Willy Murphy (sp?) was a close hit on google. kind of a jazz/rock blend.

maybe fletching, runecrafting, slayer, hunter, and fishing? And always be farming herbs while you do that.

you can wait for days, after it is fully grown it cannot get diseased.

burst/barrage rock lobs is pretty much the fastest mage xp in the game. Awesome hp xp also.
