  1. I would have to say it would be more due to having the site crash due to far to many people visiting it. We would essentially have a huge portion of the rs community coming here for other reasons then rs. Im confused, you got temp banned on rs for having a blog here? or temp banned here for having a blog? or was this somewhere else entirely? EDIT: fixed a vast overquotation
  2. I would have to imagine it's like having a room full of naked women. Some have flat chest, some have bigger ones. Some are blondes, some are brunettes, and even a few redheads. Some are Asian, some might be Brazilian, and perhaps a pale Brit or two. But as much as you like naked women, they're so many to choose from you don't know what to do first. :ohnoes: Well obviously you do them all first. ;)
  3. Is Robinhoodie's guide still in the archive or wisdom? You should go check it out.
  4. prayer, weapons, and the godwars dungeon
  5. Higher mage for one. The higher your mage level is, the higher your inherent mage defense is. You dont even need to use it to pk if you dont want to. I do suggest at least using ice blitz to freeze your opponents in place and keep them from running.
  6. Banning accounts would slow the price manipulator a little (even if you have a super program that creates accounts + tutorial play). Sooner or later the price manipulator will get a little bugged by it. But who-has-the-itent- to-manipulate issue makes me speechless. And a rule is better than no rule. A rule would be not be better then no rule. For example: Some small country bans white socks. This makes everyone who owns white socks now a criminal. Granted, there might have been a small number of people who were weaving their white socks with C4 and detonating them to cause damage, but there is also the rest of the law abiding citizens who own white socks who now become criminals. Now, these law abiding citizens get rid of their white socks so that they can continue being law abiding citizens. Does this mean that "sock bombers" stop using their sock bombs? No! They have no respect for the law anyway, so why would they decide to stop because they might get caught with white socks. So the net effect is that all the law abiding citizens now get more athletes foot, and the criminals have not been hurt in any way. Nothing has been accomplished. This law would have been better had it never been passed. Applied to RS: Jagex makes a rule that outlaws buying items in mass quantities from the ge. Now, someone who has been tirelessly training rc, and now has 99 rc, decides they want to get 99 herblore and 99 prayer. They go to buy 48k dragon bones, and all the supplies for herblore. Jagex thinks they are trying to manipulate the prices of d bones and herbs, and hands down a ban. This nice law abiding citizen now has been banned for "breaking the rules" and the merch clans just keep right on going. Purchasing smaller amounts from the ge and buying the rest from players, thus still creating a shortage and causing prices to rise. This rule would cause far far far more harm to innocent people then to manipulators. Better if it had never been made. Prices would rise just as much, because with the same shortage, the general public would become the "merch clan" and cause the price to skyrocket. Breaking the rules without getting caught is easy, and the people already doing this dont care if a new rule comes out because its not like they will break 6 rules, but refuse to break 7 rules. This isn't the first post I've seen on this, and its probably not going to be the last. But no matter people think or say, Jagex isn't going to start dishing out bans to people they think might be manipulaing prices. There is a topic on the RSOF about this explaining everything. The only thing that I would suggest is to have an auto mute feature, that activates if you say the exact same thing 100 times in 10 minutes. Then your account would be muted automatically for 2 days or something. Hopefully this would clear the air up around the ge.
  7. It looks like the thing from a d hally spec. Maybe glitched and stayed there?
  8. not quite. When rs2 came out and became the regular rs players who logged in from classic were given the option to transfer their items from classic to rs2. If you chose not to, then all your items stayed on rsc, and you started rs2 with nothing. This is still true. In my earlier post, I was trying to maintain a positive outlook about things. If you leave your account inactive for very long periods of time, then it resets and you lose all levels, items, and accomplishments. You restart from tutorial island, or whatever they call it now. I am a longtime rs player, I started in classic, I have a scythe. Truth be told, if you get your account and stuff back, I would be amazed.
  9. For slightly more info. If you felt like killing the tormented wraith, you need full black armor. There is a very good guide on tip.it for killing it. In the monster hunting section. For the corporeal beast. There are no set worlds, you would need to look in the forums to find a team. People get Sigil drops using Lootshare, or just soloing. Lootshare is where everyone in the team gets drops based upon how many other drops they have missed. So if you are missing alot of drops, then eventually you will have missed more total worth then the people in your team, upon which you should start recieveing drops. All items dropped are given to one of the team members, and all team members are notified what the drop is. Coinshare works exactly the same, but the expensive drops are converted to the mid cash amount they are worth on the ge and this cash is divided evenly between all the team members. This is partially the reason some items are still so expensive. Because when the item is converted to cash, it is not sold in the ge, it just turns into cash and never enters the game. So instead of a divine sigil entering the game for someone to buy, 500m gp comes into the game, with nothing to spend it on. So some of what is fueling inflation is at the same time limiting supply. Thus, prices rise. EDIT: and i realized that i posted this late, was afking from it onto rs lol. So all the info is old now, sry
  10. If you left your account inactive for so long, then it might have been reset. This effectively removed everything the account had done and undid all accomplishments on it. Hence you restarted. I would doubt that you are able to recover anything. This sucks, cause if you had what you said on there, that would be worth at least 300m. Half full wine jugs are one of the rarest things in the game, although I secretly suspect that they have been manipulated to be such, just as easter eggs have been. Good luck, but don't hold your breath
  11. ^^ What other person on here can make that claim and have it actually be legitimate haha. Is this claim legit? and I've never heard of bluerose13x, who were they? On topic, I vote that there is someone who is unintentionally the most famous. Someone who did something on rs that probably 80% of players have benefitted from. That person would be Rab, what he did was create Romeo and Juliet.

With your levels, you dont really need protection prayers, you do fine with bunyip, scrolls, EE, and super set+monkfish. I did this for 2 weeks, and i managed 90-110 crimsons per 2 bunyips. My combat levels are considerably lower then yours, but with a bank right there, even I did not need prayer. You should average higher then me on that. So i would guess you could manage like 130+ crimsons in 2 bunyips. I'm not sure why you would use a bunyip since you can use a unicorn. I would advise that. And i think the average for a unicorn is about 80 crimsons per uni. The summoning D&D is not very hard at all. You become a familiar, and you walk around this area and collect spirit shards. You must avoid the other familiars in there, as if you get close enough to the wrong ones, they can hurt you and shorten the time you are allowed to be in the spirit plane. Your reward is based upon the number of shards you managed to collect. The maximum you can collect is 60, and this merits 40mins of triple charm drops. This means 3 crimson charms per waterfiend in essence. Do not get your reward until you are ready to go to waterfiends. You can get your reward from pikkenmix at the obelisk, or pikkupstix in taverly. I advise being completely setup to go to waterfiends in order to maximize you reward. Once you collect your reward, use slayer ring to tele to relekka, run to the fairy ring, go to zanaris, and into the ancient cavern. I while the triple charm bonus is in effect, you should do everything you can to maximise your kill speed. Use super sets, and peity. Bring prayer potions to restore prayer from pietying. I advise using a Unicorn as this allows you to heal without breaking combat, unlike bunyip, where you cannot heal enough and you must eat or use EE or something that slows you down. Good luck!
  14. Alright, try putting the two graphs next to eachother on same spraedsheet. Then, click on the trendline you need moved. Hit Ctrl+C and then go over, click on the graph you need both lines on, and hit Ctrl+P. This should get you 2 sets of data on the one graph, then simply click the data you just added to the graph, and add a trendline. You should be able to adjust the options for color and stuff like normal.
  15. Ye, the best update this year should come a week after the dungeoneering skill update ;) I think most of us are busy doing dungeoneering anyway. The ''challenges'' aren't a big deal from what I've read. The upgrade to the rewards is epic tough. Finally some more realistic numbers for the non-hardcore player. I love it :) 2k for a gem bag, 10k for a scroll of life. Personally I love them. Bonecrusher only 34k!!!! One problem is the Bonecrusher still takes level 62 to buy, and requires 21 to use. Chaotic weapons are finally priced correctly. I'm gonna try out those new slayer challenges, i kinda want to go on a dragon hunting challenge from vannaka...... I wonder if its faster slayer xp to use a lower master and do the challenges quickly.
  16. Level 73 for a bonecrusher actually. I saw it and gave up training dungeoneering. It is almost as repetitve as woodcutting............
  17. desert strykewyrms, altho why someone would reference that fail of a movie is beyond me. Finding the square of 350 on paper probably takes about as long as finding a calculator.
  18. Medium Helm: 60.2k Full Helm: 31m Chainbody: 7m Platebody: 12.7m Platelegs: 907k Plateskirt: 165k Boots: 440k Square Shield: 300k Dagger P++: 36k Shortsword: Does not exist Longsword: 97k Scimitar: 100.2k Spear: 37.6k Mace: 30.6k Axe: 2m Pickaxe: 14.4m 2Hander: 1.6m Of the weapons, only the dds and scim are worth using for training.

Hmm...... Lets start with Agility. You can use it outside of the agility courses. It gives the rather nice benefit of recharging run faster and making it last longer. Those are very outside benefits. Firemaking. I agree, its pretty much worthless. Cape looks cool, and u get the adze at 92. Prayer. Soul split is worth it, when i can get it, i will. You make money using the prayer that spend money to get. Also, a requirement for most pro GWD teams is Turmoil. So you make huge money doing that. Cooking. Last I checked, you needed 80 for EE still. This alone gives reason to train the skill. And hmm, I don't really feel like being subject to the rise and fall of demand for pvp supplies. Especially during the summer when all the pkers are buying every shark they can get their hands on. Herblore. Extremes are amazing. Again, I know they pay for themselves, so I will be getting them when I have enough cash to do so. Till then, I'm gonna farm avantoe. Farming. You left this one out of your post completely. Easily 4m profit a week. Runecrafting. I would say that getting paid 400m to get 99 in this skill is a pretty big benefit that can be used in the outside world. Mining. A rare 99 to have, so it comes with alot of prestige. Rune mining is ~1m/hr profit. Smithing. Another prestige 99. More respect for a smith cape then a cook or fletch or str cape. Not actually that expensive compared to other skills. And finally, Dungeoneering. Lets go down with a team, go through all these rooms, fight a boss at the end, and earn these tokens that we can spend on levels, or some fun gear. Wait a minute, since when does a skill earn you tokens that you get to spend for xp or items. Wait a minute, that sounds like Barbarian assualt! or Soul wars! or Pest Control! or *gasp* Stealing Creation! When is Jagex gonna give me Level 99 Barbarian assualt! I've played enough of it............
  20. probably too much

Revenants are one of the more fun things I kill. They make the wilderness agility area that much more interesting.
  22. I would say first setup using neitz and veracs and mystic boots, with the sally and ice blitz or barrage for freeze and sidestep safespotting. Just bring the runes, u only need like 2 casts per brother per chest. Edit: realized u cant blitz so burst works very well also, and u normally get plent of runes. I just carry water runes in my inventory since i have plenty of them.
  23. 355 str bonus? that sounds too good to be true, and it would hit more like 887, following your math. I think you meant 155 lol
  24. Because the same person who did the "exp weekend modifier" likely worked on this skill. :shame: No, Jagex said they are looking into adjusting the costs on each reward. So I'm betting they'll cut the price of the chaotic gear in half, which actually does equate to being able to use it at level 80. HAHAHA the weekend modifier that fell twice as fast as it was supposed to. And how about that person that accidentally added 4 zeros to the xp you got for crafting ess in the dungeons right before the rollback. "1xp per 10 ess.......10,000xp per 10 ess. Oh, same thing.....Whateverrrrr" I am hoping they reduce the price. I was just stating the current cost and showing how unbalanced they are. And the bonecrusher still is ridiculusly high priced, even if it cost 55k. The level required to use it leaves you with 502 tokens. My point is, at this moment, the rewards are horribly unbalanced with the level requirements. I also thought it was a joke when i saw that at 21 dungeoneering, you were 0.4% of the way to buying a bonecrusher.
  25. You need 400k tokens to buy something chaotic. This is 4mil xp. Or level 87. Makes me wonder why the requirement is level 80. There is no possible way to get one of them at level 80. And bonecrusher is only available at level 74, yet the requirement is 21. How does any of this make sense?
