  1. I got the exam random today and Mr. Mordaut got a graphic update too: So I guess they just have pet dragons and Revenants left?
  2. Great update overall. I'm kind of happy this thread isn't over 10 pages full of hating on Jagex. For once, they managed to make an update that everyone seems to like!
  3. So its alright some players get an advantage because they are minority? Seems real fair here guys. Life isn't fair. Whining about that isn't going to get us anywhere. And even if you aren't whining then you're still giving others a chance to whine. Updated RSOF post I'm guessing most people on the RSOF are going to read that and then walk around it to whine about money as usual.
  4. Uhhh yes, Jagex did tell us. They said themselves only 1% had 50 or more. Then my argument still stands. We're going to sit here and point at that 1% of all climbing boot owners while we buy up everything in site.
  5. Only 1% made "a few mil". Extraordinary amount is pretty ambiguous, do you mean over 1000? or 100k? Jagex hasn't told us, so one can only guess, but even if they only made a few hundred mil, we're talking about welfare PKers here. So basically, the already broken rare market is going to get a few more idiots running around with Santa hats. The rest of the people who may have only made a few hundred k or a few mil are most likely going to jump on the bandwagon and point at those Santa hats as the reason behind them hoarding supplies and driving the price up.
  6. Meh, the update itself won't do anything. As Mark said, only 50 people or so had an extraordinary amount of boots. If that's the case, then those paper billionaires are going to have a problem liquidating those boots (alch over 400k boots?). Basically this means that 50 or so rares will be bought and that's the end of that. The rest of us who may have gotten a few mil or so are going to be with the rest of the crowd, which will panic thinking this update is going to do anything. When they panic (or think they're being smart), they're going to buy up a bunch of supplies or equipment and use it or sit on it for a while thinking they're getting a good deal. That is what's going to drive prices up; stupidity and misinformation yet again. Jagex didn't really do anything with this update; the players however, will be the ones to screw things up.
  7. This update just proves that Jagex doesn't know how to run an economy. It also proves that Runescape's audience will go up and arms and even quit over a pair of boots.
  8. If they re-hauled the Assist system for this, it'd be nice to have the cap raised to 50k, or set it to 30k in each skill. Then again, once things settle after this update news blows over, we might not have as much demand for effigy services.
  9. I pick them all up. Should i ever need another space I'll only drop Golds usually. I only do so really because for some reason I've confidence in Jagex that one day there will be a use for ridiculous amounts of golds and greens.
  10. I'm voting BTS is back as best update of the month. Finally maybe for once we won't be AS cynical with every update they make as we have been since BTS was removed. Either way, I'm glad they came to their senses.
  11. Aye, now I'd like to see new emotes for Hp, Slayer, and perhaps Herblore and we're good with skillcapes for a while.
  12. New Summon emote = Win Attack and Defence look much better now too. I can only wonder what they heck they were thinking with Hp though...
  13. Well, it started off as another stereotype thread, and now it's yet another tip.it argument over armour and efficiency statistics. Lovely.
  14. I bought an onyx ring for 46m recently. Think I got a pretty good deal though, the guy wasn't a merchanter, just someone who had an onyx ring (i) and had to get rid of junk. Quite nice actually, cause onyx ring is only 6.5m, and I lost maybe 5m getting rid of the junk, so I basically got it for 11.5m :-). So glad I bought my Fury when they crashed last year for 1.4m <3:
  15. OH. MY.GOD! This is the happiest day of my life. NOOOOOOO!!! I loved that! ;_; Now I have to click on each individual item when gearing for bosses or slayer or such ;_; Getting items out is so slow now... I wondered why it was taking me forever to get my gear out of the bank. Spam-clicking was so much more efficient. That wasn't a problem! :shame:
  16. Really, if there's any negative things to point out with this update, it's that some people persist on being negative. The quest was good, the boss fight unique in some respects, and the rewards definitely make up for the long wait. (Fairy rings w/o a staff could've been the only reward and I'd be happy) I'm loving the new look to Zanaris; now if only they could put the graphics team on gnomes and trolls and we'd be relatively up-to-date with the races. I think I'm relatively safe in saying there really are no negatives to this update, and if there are, they are very small and essentially nothing to talk about. Good job Jagex
  17. Convince him he needs a dentist and afterwards you can use your tooth detractor on him. K'Chunk's tooth is just pickpocketing. And how do I convince him? The chat options just make him mad. Be nice and un-threatening, compliment him if you can, just read the options and you'll figure it out.
  18. Would the weight of those heavy armours like Granite and Barrows (I'm considering Bandos an option) affect my run energy that much for the xp rates? Seems like we could use a good guide on those. I'll go look on Youtube. Thanks for the suggestions so far, let's see more!
  19. Howdy, I'm about to get 99 Fishing off Rocktails in the Living Caverns. I've never used a theme world or anything, because all the spawns I regular can be trapped. I did a test with Concentrated Coal today, and it appears as if I might need some better armour than my current outfit of Agile legs and Black D'hide body. So, are there any recommended armour to wear whilst mining in the Living Caverns? Should I go pie the Barbarian course for the Agile top?
  20. I wish they'd consider more though. It's like a 14m xp gap between being able to bind 2 items and 3 items. I think they should go up to 5 or 7 and spread it through the 70s and 80s or something,
  21. I hope he goes outside after. Spending almost a month at the computer can't have been any help for his eyes. On another note, Phoenix Odin is under 1m xp to 200m in Runecrafting.
  22. Modern Warfare 2: Because if you're dumb enough to pay 15 bucks for a couple of maps, you deserve what you get. Though I am disappointed that they cut out any zombie or new weapons, I'm still content that 15 bucks keeps Activision alive for a bit longer, and I'll get to keep those maps for a few years instead of a month.
  23. Better be something awesome or nothing at all; MW2 Stimulus Package is out on the PS3 this week.
  24. If they double the number of bosses like that interview says, they can take the month off afterward, I'll have no complaint.
  25. Perhaps a quest revolving around a lost/found ancient artifact that happens to be a ruby dragon?
