Toads Vs. Ranarrs Vs. Snaps
Have Snapdragons recovered from that merch a month back or so? I don't want to start Farming them again unless I'm sure the herbs are going to sell.

The GOP activity bar is a failure.
Yea I'm not playing GOP again until the bar is removed. I'll wait a year if I have to, I'm in no hurry if they want to ruin yet another minigame. I still wonder why they bothered to put in an activity bar and still leave all of those glitches in the game. Clearly they either think 50-50 is a work of Satan or they rushed it. 50-50 is fine, games are just as long and the max is only like 635 tokens a game instead of 900+. I enjoyed it because it totally got rid of the "omg unfair spawn I quit" attitude. GOP was potentially the best minigame made in my opinion until they ruined it. :(

RuneScape Content's Answers by Mod Fetzki 10-Sep-2009
Finally some actual answers. They did walk around a few questions, but the vast majority were actual answers for once instead of "that's what Player Support does!" and "yes we like to follow the rules and think you should too!" I'm ecstatic that they finally slammed the door on the proverbial Sailing coffin (or Davy Jones' locker :P ) so now we've got yet another quote to throw at the Sailing fanatics. I'm really hoping that 80+ Defence armour is untradable, challenging to get, and epic. It'd definitely stop all that status nonsense and make people actually play the game than throw money away. Too bad on the no skillcapes for f2p, since my friend Genworth maxed I've been kind of hoping they'd be nice for once. :(

09-Sep-09 Dwarf Quest + patch notes
Yeah, I'll take this seriously in a few more weeks so I can get myself a handcannon and a pickaxe, it's just a wonder how greedy everybody is, go back to TD's they're much more profitable. :wall:

Misunderstood Monsters: Wyverns and more!
How exactly is that of any importance if this guide covers Bandosian Mages? Also, I think we'd best wait until the RuneTek 5 bugs get patched and then we'll see if the the Bandos Mages are really what this guide says they are. Right now Saradomin mages are messed up since all of the warriors attack the Werewolf now, so I'm sure Spiritual Mages are on JaGeX's list of things to fix soon. :

New GWD room? New Quest Area? Amazing Find!
Nice find! This'll stoke the fire on the God Wars Dungeon new developments for sure! In the first picture I think I see what appears to be a skeleton on a pedestal/altar of some sort, so perhaps a quest element or something will be implemented. Once again, great find!

Wow a level 138! Discusion on what impresed you
So you want everyone to play the game exactly the same way? I'm talking about the "need" to be special, as in telling me you own full dragon on 3 main accounts while you tout your untrimmed fletching cape around like you're a god. Not to bash Fletching or anything, I've just hosted too many 99 parties where my friend getting the 99 invites these people and I have to deal with them running around for a half hour. :(

What is your ping like?
Lowest is 72, and ironic enough it's my homeworld that I picked at random two years ago. : Highest is 300 in India.

Dragon KiteShield vs DFS - Do we need it at all?
The DFS is more than enough. I think it's time we stop with the Dragon stuff except for the Pickaxe, and then hopefully move on to some nice level 80 Defence untradeable armour 8-)

Wow a level 138! Discusion on what impresed you
It may sound biased, but I only have respect for: 1. People who actually give a damn about Slayer instead of just going for the best xp/hr option. 2. People who don't try to be special. 3. Players who when Slaying look out for other players and don't just focus on themselves or try to steal spots. 4. Level 125+ players at GodWars wearing untrimmed Cooking capes, it's just so rad! :

Tormented Demons
http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?f=103&t=772934 AND http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?f=180&t=790682 I like the second better but both are good.

Runescape music
I turned Music off about 3 days after I started playing. 4 years later it's only been turned on twice; for Summer's End so I'd know when the Beast attacks, and for the ending of While Guthix Sleeps simply because I thought it might have been cool. My own music collection is simply superior.

Fury Ammys
I love my Fury! It's just such a necessity for Slayer, kind of like the Whip. For any serious Slayer, this is overall the best amulet to wear, so nobody should be bothered about ponying up some money to buy one if they're going to keep it for a long time.

Potting for your slayer tasks?
I only use potions for Mithril Dragons, all other tasks are handled easily without them. Usually I only use potions for GodWars, but Mithril Dragons require them due to their defence.

Easier to get your first 99 then your second and so on?
It's definitely gotten a lot easier. 99 Woodcutting was like the ultimate Everest for me in F2P, and now 3 99's later I just seem to be over the peak and am just kind of soaking up the xp. Then again, Cooking and Construction were just spontaneous decisions courtesy of boredom, and Defence was just because I was sick of buying members' food.

Experience per Hour
Oak Doors with SC hammers I averaged 383k xp/hr. Oak Larders I'd agree with a previous poster in that it'd be 70% of that or so.

Is this a good method of getting charms?
In the Roaches versus Dusties argument, personally I prefer Roaches to be honest, mainly because I know I'm going to get money to pay for the shards and seconds, instead of lame Red Vambs and Herbs that I'd prefer be used for Herblore. Other than that, Slayer is the way to go for charms regardless, because you'll want those Slayer levels one day for sure. For immediate Charm hunting, you're going to want to focus on Golds and Crimsons at your current level of 53. Terrorbirds are cheap to make and Bloated Leeches are the start of good xp-per-charm. Good luck on your combat training. :

Price manipulation: right or wrong?
I don't think it's fair at all any more really. Sure, the clans make some money by buying out all of an item, but I don't think it's fair at all to the majority of the playerbase when that item is important to their play-time. Take Snapdragons and Ranarrs for example, they totally ruined good profitable herb farming for a while there. When it ruins a skill or activity, I just don't think it should be allowed. :?

ele and yew cutting question
I'll answer your second question. It took me about 2 months to get 10k yews in f2p, so do the math and subtract about 10% of the time if you're using a Dragon Hatchet. Yews really aren't worth it to cut, same goes for Magic, just power-train and make up the money doing other, more faster, methods.

Drop rate.
I'm going to guess around 1/5000. That'd make sense with all of the fire giant tasks I've done, only to get my left half last week...88 Slayer levels in...It's definitely a good laugh when you get it though. :

Bandos
Are you soloing or teaming? Can't really help if you don't specify.

Solo Bandos Guide
Ok I've just tested the Zamorakian Spear to see if the Stab weakness could do any good. Long story short, it didn't. I made 5 trips, and couldn't get over 1 kill per trip with it (3 r2h's and ourgs paid for the food thankfully). Anybody else who thinks they know what they're doing please test it for yourselves before you take my word, but I think I'm going to close the door on utilising his apparent "stab" weakness.

so pissed... (YES MAD)
Clues are a nice side-track from the Slayer grind, so I do every one I get. It's definitely paid off, and I'm not disappointed at all when I get junk clues, I could get 10k and still be happy. Aside from that darn Cat-door pyramid being so popular for Double Agents, I don't find any real frustration. They're like mini-quests after all. :

Waterfiends.
OP is 71 Summoning so best that can be done is a Bunyip. But bring extra food and pray until they go unaggresive, and collect all the raw food drops. You could try getting better mage def armor. Along with that getting a crush weapon and some decent food to help with healing. Another thing is get your magic level up. This will help greatly with negating the amount of magical damage you will take. This. Bring about 30 Nature Runes and a Fire staff to alch the mithril items. Don't pray protect, just make sure to Piety flash while killing them. Stock up on Swallow Whole scrolls and bring 1 or 2 bunyips (depending how long you wish to stay). I bring 10 Sharks and then about 5 Monkfish (monks are eaten when they are aggressive, sharks are for safety). Before Unicorns, I used to bring Guthan's with me and heal on the Skeletons for a few extra kills per trip.

AFK, Really vs the rules?
Just report them and move on. We really can't do anything about it until they either make a big statement or make Lumbridge Castle a multi-combat area. Let them think they're being epic with that astounding 6k xp/hr until they finally get banned for it. :shame:
