  1. Get Bunyips, they are an absolute must-use for serious Slaying 70+. Guthan's is useful for most tasks, and for tasks where you need more healing than a Bunyip can offer it helps a lot. A good guide on how to get Summoning started can be found in the Archive of Wisdom. Barrows gloves are a must. They compliment everything Slayer quite well (except Fever Spiders of course). A Rune Defender would be nice to go with a whip, and though it isn't necessary, a GodSword for specs or enchanted Excalibur would do you well to kill things faster. Good luck. :

I went to 99 Woodcutting in f2p and I can definitely say Yews are never worth it to cut. They kind of pick up around 97, but it's just a waste of time otherwise. Stick with willows, and you'll be over with the nightmare that is Woodcutting sooner rather than later. Stick to another skill if you want money, trust me, Woodcutting isn't the best out there.

My Gargoyle tasks consist of Guthan's with Slayer helmet and SS (on crush, though any crush weapon will do well), with the Guthan helm and Warspear in my inventory for quick healing as well as the Enchanted Gem and Rock hammer. I used to use a bunyip but my Defence level is too high for it to be useful, so it's totally your choice. :
  4. You should be fine in what you have there. I brought a load of monks and I think I ate maybe 3 in the end? He's really not that bad, it's just the mage that's annoying. :
  5. I used to be in a group that plays like that. We'd switch worlds everyday to ensure the games go our way. I think it's definitely clever, and definitely a good strategy. Why bother Graahking if you can play a minigame you enjoy and just use simple tabs as a reward for easy xp? ;)
  6. Looks like you broke Summona! (Just kidding) It's all random, and it looks like all you've done is manage to pull the same cards out the hat a few times in a row. If you feel like something else, I'd just move to another Slayer master for a task or two and then try again. It won't really do anything but at least it's something to try. :
  7. You're not guaranteed a drop every task. I average about 1 in 130 maybe. I can compare your problem to my first Abyssal Demon task where I got 2 whips, haven't seen one since. :(

It depends on what God you'll be going to. If you want Bandos, I'd follow my stats as a template. Any tank needs a high Defence level, and depending on the activity a high Range or Magic level would be nice. Guthan's is a must for Bandos at least, and a high Summoning level (79+) is very helpful in GodWars.
  9. Start with SC_Claymates if you're just starting with Stealing Creation, and then I'd personally move on to Fast_sc123 because they have a tendency to be faster due to more experienced players. :
  10. 1. It's worth it to do all of the quests. Cave horrors are fun tasks (for me at least), though the drop rates for Black Masks don't make it necessarily popular. 2. I've always asked that question whenever I see one. :D 3. Slayer masters have a tendency to hate the letter "H" possibly due to a bad exposure to the letter when it was the letter of the day on Sesame Street.
  11. While I didn't record any numbers for Larders, Oak Dungeon Doors with SC hammers gave me an average of 383k xp/hr using the normal butler. I used the Demon butler for Larders, and then switched for Doors. Demon charges 10k every few transactions you make him do, and the Butler charges 5k. If I had to estimate I'd say Larders would yield somewhere in the ballpark of 320k xp/hr, but I can't say for certain. SC hammers are paramount if you don't want to spend a lot of money, but they are essentially optional. Good luck with your goal! :
  12. How much money do you have? With SC hammers, I cut the costs by about 45%, so I only spent about 60m altogether for 99 Construction. Personally, though I have 99, I'd go for 90+ anyway, as that gets your total up there and you'll most likely get more than enough money for 99 Construction in the process. EDIT: One thing I've realized is all 99 Construction does is give you more ways to throw money away, so really you'll most likely be kind of irritated that after all that you still need to spend more money to get a cool house. :wall:
  13. You mean Slayer helm, correct? Aside from that, my Spectre set up is usually Karil's with a whip/defender and about 60 Unicorn scrolls with a familiar. Since you don't have Unicorns, I'd suggest Proselyte with about 4 Prayer potions (just in case). The Ranarr drops will pay for the potions a few times over themselves, and even get you a profit.
  14. (Shards needed per pouch) X 25 = ? ? + (Secondary Ingredient cost) = ?? ?? - (GE price of pouch (assuming they will sell)) = ??? If ??? is negative, go for it, if positive, I'd swap personally. Then again it's a matter of choice and whether or not those pouches will sell.
  15. I totally agree with Aspeeder and I have the level to back it. Watch some Youtube videos of Neo Qdon's techniques, as he seems to have it all down. :
  16. I think that PvM Defence is totally fine. I can do many Slayer tasks in one trip without any food and minimal, if not at all, use of Guthan's. If anything has to be done here, a small boost in the ability to dodge some of the boss monsters more often would be a nice treat for those people like me who decided to train Defence rather high. PvP, however, seems to be the one area I've never liked about having high Defence. Though I will often see 99 Strength Capers spec 0's on me with their AGS and Claws, the majority of the time I can't stand a long fight with them. Their specs may fail, but their normal attacks usually hit quite more often. They seem to be changing PvP every week nowadays, so why not give us a little Defence boost? ;)
  17. Having just got 85 Tuesday, I hit 265 tasks in a row. I believe I started putting them in a row from around level 50. I'd say it will get you about 5 or 6 Summoning levels maybe, but I like to camp Waterfiends so I can't exactly say. Personally I'd just stick with Slayer for your money. I've made over 1mil on even a Gargoyle task, 1.2mil on a Spirit mage task, and just yesterday I got lucky with 2 whips and a Sara helm clue, so just sticking with Slayer seems to pay well, plus you're always training at least 3 skills with it
  18. I'll help you until you want me to move somewhere else. I want to have fun doing what I want to do; not following some person all over Runescape because they need a hand to hold/can't open up another browser window by themselves. I've had 99 Construction for 1 day and already get terrorized by people asking how much it cost. I guess some of us can only stand so much unwanted attention. I find if you leave someone alone, they'll do the same in return, and if you keep it a system, say the Dust Devils on one side to you, and the other side to him/her, you'll earn their respect and most likely they'll help you out if you need something specific to the activity. I find that a lot of the higher Slayer monsters have a sort of camaraderie system that you had best follow. If high levels wanted to answer questions all day, they'd be at F2P yews... :(

I adore Summoning! There's absolutely no reason why you shouldn't train it. Really, I haven't spent near as much as that money out of my cash pile because every monster drops something commonly, and I just sell that item as my shard money. Gathering the seconds is easy since they just require you to train another skill at my level. You can't hate a skill that lets you talk to squirrels... \
  20. Clues seem to have a love-hate relationship with me. Last week I got 27 Lobsters, Black D'hide Chaps, and a Mage Shortbow. Then this week I somehow end up with a Robin hat. I love doing clues because of that kind of randomness. Next for clues I'd just like a few high-level Construction items added into the higher tier, and perhaps some new clues for the fun of it? :
  21. If you're low on cash and equipment (Karil's top is over 1mil), it's going to be a tough run at Waterfiends. If you're really itching for charms though, I'd just go to Dust Devils since they require only a relatively cheap armour/inventory setup.
  22. If I have whatever item they've chosen to buy, I like to go through the adventure that is hypothetical situations in which I have a certain item that they have chosen to announce themselves in the process of buying, and that it seems to be a mere coincidence that I am interested in selling said item, but I'm looking for someone who is in the process of bartering for it. They get confused, and I get a chuckle out of it. It's impossible to solve this situation, so why not have fun with it? :?
  23. 1. Wrong forum. 2. Your goal sig is broken. As for Fletching, I have no expertise on that subject. *Looks around for more experienced players*

I killed Dusties from 90-99 Defence. I wouldn't count on the money factor, since their drops aren't necessarily going to make your wallet overflow. Oh, and so I can be the one to crush your hopes before you get mad at them, remember my first sentence when I say I've never gotten a D chain from them. I used a whip for training, but now I find that Godswords and SS work just as well. They're great Crimson Charm droppers, so if you're going to camp I advise getting a few Summoning levels out of them. Good luck. :

The point is that no matter the reasoning, this is making low-levels rich quite quickly. The problem with this is that the supply of items is still at a steady rate, but the demand created by so many people making too much easy money (this goes for any levels really) is causing the price of raw goods and finished goods to skyrocket. For example, I'm going for 99 Construction. When I initially planned it out, Oak planks were steadily hovering around 430 each. I'm not making it up (look at the graph), but I instead had to pay well over 500gp per plank because of the surge in demand. Too much money is a problem for the community. Jagex may say they don't hold 26/76k tricking in a very honorable light, but that doesn't stop anybody from abusing it. It needs to be stopped, or be on the lookout for another money-sink update. Don't say you deserve it because they took away "fair" pking, because this most definitely is not "fair" under any circumstance for other players who choose not to abuse systems.
