    Today...

If you're getting desperate I'd start looking at some more manual labor type jobs. A bunch of Australians I've meet did like construction, or worked at power companies at like all levels and they all seemed pretty well off for their ages.
  2. I only get nervous these days if I'm unprepared, but like a few others have said the more practice you have at it, the better you'll become, and the more comfortable you'll be.
  3. I had friends from NY to DC blowing up my facebook & twitter about the earthquake.
  4. I would say it's more of a cultural thing and one that is more common among people who live in warm weather climates. I can say this from experience from having lived in such contrasting places such as Washington State & Arizona.

    Today...

Discovered that the NYTimes only allows you to read only 20 articles a month for free.. I feel for as long as I've been reading the NYTimes, I should have known this by now.
  6. Gotcha, I kind of hope the flamethrower one wins then, that'd be a bit funny to see someone run around with one on.
  7. What are the helmets for? Are they going to be used in some sort of rating system? Ps. Wongtong you got me all sorts of confused.. I thought you were Elk.
  8. I used to wear Levis all the time and I've never found them to stretch to the point where I thought I should have gone a size down. Although, I would try on the size 29 just to see how they fit. It never hurts to try, and if they're to small/tight just get the 30.
  9. Gotta Have It is my favorite.
  10. The lion looks awesome, great job on the mane.

    Food

I don't know if you can buy it in the US or California, but tomato frito goes great with pasta (maybe not if you're adding curry powder, but still). Edit: Just realised, what with all the Mexicans, I'm sure you'll be able to buy it. I'll look into it!
  12. You can even try giving the lion's head a cut out like effect by creating a small spacing between the head and body to help give more detail to the mane.
  13. For trying to replica the lion on your emblem, I think you did a good job. I'd only recommend trying to gradually thin down the tail as it approaches the hair ball at the end of the tail. Not much just a little. I assume you're only allowed one color?

    Food

I've been making a bomb ass pasta for lunch the past week. A handful of Penne mezzani rigate Mix in a whole smoked sausage sliced up seasoned with a little curry powder topped with arrabbiata sauce & a lot of parmesan cheese Simple, yet amazing.

    Money

I wish graduating university guaranteed me 100K. Three months post graduating, I'm currently living in Los Angeles unemployed search for any job available related to my area of study. Starting pay will most likely be no more the 30k a year.
  16. Unless their is special film that will modify your shots with a light leak, I don't think there is any other way to do it other then photoshop or messing with your camera. When it comes to the camera itself is there anything to look for? Any particular camera brands/models?
  17. Saw 30 Seconds or Less earlier today and was a bit disappointed. The majority of the best jokes you see in the trailer and the plot is to simple, the characters are never really challenged so you basically see them run through all the make plot points without any mistakes or roadblocks.
  18. I didn't know that, I always thought it as PC only.
  19. Interesting to see it on a console and since it's going be available through XBA & PSN it'll probably come in at a nice $20 price tag.

    Canada

I love Washington. Sadly, where I live, there isn't a whole lot of green. But I'm sure you'd be able to find a nice green, rainy place on the west side if things in Canada don't work out. You live on the eastside? I grew up on the westside in a small town east of Everett.
  21. We got about a month before we really got start worry but as things look now we're looking at a shorten season.

    Canada

British Columbia is nice and is the only Canadian province I've spent time in as I grew up in Washington State. Vancouver is an awesome city and in my opinion one of the best cities on the entire west coast.
