idk if there are really fairy tales when it comes to the royals. Kate maybe an exception, but we will see.... What do you mean? She gets a title regardless if she is already royalty or not.

There isn't anything complicated about it, she'll simply will become William's princess or duchess if Williams takes on the title of a duke. It's the classic fairy tale.

I was wondering why recently there was a lot of media cover surrounding the wedding then I realized yesterday that the wedding is Friday. I don't plan on watching it though, I'll probably be stumbling home Friday night around 2am anyways so watching a wedding will be the last thing on my agenda.
  4. Funny, Nike's usually run small. A lot of you also have big ass feet. My smallest footwear is a pair of boots which are a size 9. My largest shoe is a size 10.5. I don't know how universal their sizing is across their line of shoes but both the Nike track spikes I purchased ran large. Oh well that could explain why, I've never owned their track spikes.
  5. I've always thought P90X thing is a awful gimmick. People do them for instant gratification but either they give up because it's to hard, or they don't see results fast enough. I always feel the best way to improve your physical strength and whatnot is by going to the gym and finding a routine that works for you. It won't be fun for the first couple weeks while you learn your way around the gym figuring out the best workout for you but in the long haul it's totally worth it and if your dedicated, you could be in great shape by the time august rolls around.
  6. Saying it's a popularity contest is a bit of an extreme way to saying being elected you need to know the most voters, the more voters you know the better chance you have of being elected so simply get your name out, get people to know you. Creating a facebook fan page would also be a smart way to get your name out.

Saw Lupe Fiasco last night. It was pretty awesome but it was probably the most awkward audience I've ever seen. You could easily tell who've been listening to Lupe since Food & Liquor to those who got into him at LASERS. Going to the Railroad Revival tour tomorrow also which features Mumford & Sons, Edward Sharpe, & Old Crow Medicine Show.
  9. True, but surely if there is a large enough out cry about this, surely they will make some sort of mention of it, if not soon, in their next keynote presentation.
  10. It's kind of scary being an iPhone user, but I'm going to wait until Apple address the issue before I start freaking out.

All these new features come off as things hardcore gamers would like, not Nintendo's actual demographic. When's E3, next week? I'm ready for these rumors to be settled. lol

I didn't think of that PLR. I can see that being beneficial if you were playing Zelda or something and you had your inventory/maps and stuff on the second screen (being the one on the controller). I can tell you right now though, I would not want to break one of those controllers. $$$
  13. stevepole replied to Demoli's topic in Off-Topic
Why the hell would they put a screen on the controller. That makes no sense.
  14. wat Come on Sees_All1, "Things you don't like on your opposite sex" a penis, aka he likes women. I get that, but has he really had that issue? I don't even want to think about it anymore, other than with a sarcastic, "You sure know how to pick 'em." Let's hope he hasn't. This now reminds me of The Crying Game.

HAH! I did that once, with a girl in the kitchen too. I looked like such a sissy every time I had to flip the bacon, the splatter buuuuuuurns gah. But bacon is delicious and girls let you flop around on top of them when you cook some for them so  Can't handle the heat get out of the kitchen. Pro tip: turn down the burner. I also cook my bacon on a grill pan which probably also helps since the bacon is sitting directly on in grease.
  17. Hearing art program getting cuts is always sad to hear about as they are so important culturally to society. On the other hand from an administrative perspective it's the easiest to cut since their goal is to education and move you on to the next thing be it the entry level job market, or higher education and hope that if you re really passionate about the arts, you will continue them outside of an academic environment.
  18. It's surprising how many people don't realize this, especially at a university level. Just last week my school announced in partnership with Nike, a revamp of our school uniforms and logos for the upcoming school year when we turn into the Pac-12. I saw a lot of backlash both on twitter and facebook from fellow students that the money spent on the rebranding could have been spent more wisely on academics and student aid but what they are obvious to is the fact that with all the recent state budget cuts to higher education is that the school is trying to earn back the money it's losing to support student aid and further our current academic programs.

There is already been a third Assassin's Creed, unless your not counting the last installment. I'm not discounting it, just that they've said that the major installments come about with a change in setting/character, IIRC. I think Brotherhood is the 5thish AC installment, anyways. It and the DS games were more about expanding on those settings rather than introducing anything new. Gotcha, I hadn't played it yet so I was unfamiliar with it's place in the series. I would agree with Kimberly that the Wii is a continuation of previous Nintendo consoles and the successor of the Gamecube. Just because it's a new innovative device that focuses on motion control. Apart from that functionality, It would share many of the same qualities of past Nintendo gaming consoles.

Back when the current gen consoles were being announced, they basically said they want them to last something like 10 years before a refresh.

  22. Last movie I watched was Boogie Nights on Sunday. It was the first time I've ever watched. It was interesting to say the least. I found the overall kind of funny for it's representation of the porn industry.
  23. That's funny. Doesn't look as if you made it though.
  24. I think that's why I'm skeptical of buying them even though I do like how they look. They're to identifiable.
  25. Opinions on Converses? I've always been a Vans guy but they stopped carrying my color in my style (Old Skool) and my current wing tipped eras are starting to rip. Theses are the converse I'm look at btw:
