Pretty stoked for tomorrow and drinking all the green beer I can consume! :-D
  2. yes it is. you just have to look at the CO2 emissions, the size of houses. The size of everything. The obesity rates. Granted England isn't much better. But do you know what gets me?? America's attitude towards war. I can't be assed to get into a massive quote chain debate on this cos im crap at them and i dont care enough to prove everything i say. but some of the stuff ive heard is atrocious. Dude fox news is an accepted news channel. thats all that needs to be said. anyway i got extreme views, there's a lot of things i ahte about america. not americans, but america. but yeah there is a reason why most of the world hates america. CO2 emissions, house size, obesity rates - that's not because of greed, it's because of wealth. you don't know what greed is. being wealthy doesn't make you greedy and being greedy doesn't make you wealthy. fox news isnt an accepted news channel, it's available to something like 100 million households but has viewership under 3.3 million. it's only watched by the least informed people out there. also, the sun is probably just as bad. "there is a reason why most of the world hates america" somebody had a big bowl of ignorant for breakfast [/hide] its true, most of the world hates america. The world may hate America but we're the ones people look to in troubled times. It's a very love hate relationship we've put ourselves in. If we don't solve everyones problems the world hates us, if do to little, the world hates us, if we do to much the world hates us. If we do things just right, nobody cares. Also saying America isn't doing enough for Japan is a counterproductive statement. If the Japanese ask for more help, we'll be there, and anyone else who is willing to help.
  3. My roommate has two pairs of those jeans. I don't know much about them though, they look good, and if he went out of his way to get a second pair that has to say something about the quality of the jeans. I recently came across another smaller raw denim brand Baldwin. A little pricier but worth a look.

  6. Even with a complete meltdown of the reactor core, there shouldn't be a problem. Modern nuclear reactors are built with a containment building that will stop major radiation leaks into the environment. The reactor situation has been blown out of proportion. I do know that reactors are some of the newest and safest but that still doesn't reinsure me that everything is going to be alright if they do in fact meltdown. I will admit most my fear for the situation came after listening to a claimed expert on one of those news shows on MSNBC, but I do not think the situation should be taken lightly.
  7. I find it interesting some of us are more interested in the people who believe the Japanese deserved this tragedy then the actual quake and potential danger these Nuclear reactors have if they fully meltdown. It's really scary to think about on both a local and global scale.
  8. It sounds like your going to be using the computer for basic tasks, Runescape or any Jagex game isn't that demanding and I'm not imagining you're going to be doing a ton of photo editing that is going to require a lot of memory process or a powerful graphics card so I would say all this comes down to is your person preference. I love my Mac, the operating system is very simple and easy to use. Any Mac you get is going to be able to do everything you want (even the Airs) which I find to be one of the greatest things about Apple computers is that you never truly have to worry about your system specs and if you're going to be to run a specific application or w/e. With windows operated computers you need a little more thought out idea of what you really want to do with the machine so you get the right computer that is able to fit you needs entirely. In the short term PCs are generally cheaper as you can get a fairly nice ones for under $1000 but in my experience I've seen more people happier with Macs over anything else in the long term.

Lupe's latest album was made for the label. You can here it in the music. Most people I've seen who have been super excited about the album are fans who came on board wit The Cool after it started gaining success. It's a good album but not classic Lupe.
  10. I wonder how many Godzilla jokes are going to be made.. I can only assume that Japan is going to recover without much problem as I'm sure they have the resources but my only concern is how much this could potentially cost Americans as we help Japan recover from this disaster.

  16. I don't know if there could possibly be any worse of a guess. The person that owns property is the network. For TV there is always like a one writer who created the concept or idea of the show. He pitches said idea to a network and if they're interested they'll fund a pilot, if the pilot makes it past testing it'll go on air and if it does well it'll then get picked up by the network. The reason seasons are left open is because they aren't always told before a season is ended that they've gotten picked up for another season. So there isn't time for the writers to conclude the series. TV series are designed for longevity so when their ratings start to slip or something and a network decides to dropped them they're screwed basically if you plan for a conclusion. The only times a series end properly is if it's planned. About the writers, on a TV show there is what's called as a writer's room which is a room full of writers who brainstorm and collective pound out ideas for next weeks episode. The writer who usually ends up writer the episode is usually the person who pitches the best idea that week. Directors, there are usually a set staff of them, occasionally someone might earn the right to direct after putting in hard work. My point though, is that TV production isn't as chaotic as you make it out to be.

  18. Drivers ED doesn't rise because of bad drivers it rises because it's a commodity so many people want. The only thing they raise is the price of insurance when they get in accidents.

You're right, we're going to need another 30 killstreaks. Just saying the only way this game is going to go anywhere is if they make the kind of leap like CoD3 to CoD4 was. They need to change the series. Oh who the hell am I kidding, people will still buy it day 1 no matter what [cabbage] is in it. Pass. The only change I can see them doing is setting it in the future, doing basically what Battlefield did. But I would agree with you, the series is very much running it's course, I think we can only wait and hope for the next best thing to come sooner then later.
  20. I've actually hit my friend in the face several times, by accident of course, and one time was a freak accident because I through something like a small soft ball and it went behind someone's back and nailed her in the eye. Like looking back at it even today I still don't know how the ball managed to slide behind this kid's back since he was basically right up against the wall. The other times we were probably wrestling around but we're still good friends to this day, ha, and plan to move to LA together this summer after I graduate University. So moral of the story, don't worry about it, accidents happen.

I've only heard of them because of Tyler the Creator appearing on Jimmy Fallon, but what I've heard so far from his newest CD, I've enjoyed.
