I use it everyday for work, it's how I receive my service calls and communicate with my out of town clients/contractors (along with the phone, of course). I never really used it for talking with friends or family as they all either live nearby or are too old to understand the computer. I love my Nana <3: , but sometimes she can barely work her telephone let alone a computer (we actually had to find her an old rotary phone because the touch tone one confused her :lol: ).

Well said. Concept art is exactly that: a concept. It simply serves as a starting point for the game designers to incorporate ideas into the game. Some concepts are simply too detailed or unwieldy to reproduce into the game as they were drawn. Personally, I think Jagex's design team have done an excellent job of translating the graphic artists' ideas into in-game reality.

That's scary. The only difference I could see was the legit one came from "Jagex Ltd." and the fake was from "RuneScape". I didn't link my account to FB, but I'm still going to be *very* wary of anything I get in the future. Thanks for the heads up mugglle. :thumbup:

When you look how they were able to balance the combat triangle for Dungeoneering, the shortcomings of range/mage vs melee in the rest of RS become plain to see.

Bagman, Mask and Not_Trolling were accepted as authors and Jaffy1, Studio1417 and I were accepted as editors. TBH I was kind of surprised that they didn't make an official announcement to everybody like they do with new admins and mods.

As I'm sure you've all noticed by now thanks to the pretty little icon below my avatar... I GOT ACCEPTED TO THE EDITORIAL PANEL!!! :twss: It's a great opportunity and I'm very excited. I'm really looking forward to helping make the Times better. I haven't had much to time to play the last couple of days as I've been busy clearing out my basement and spare room for some friends who are coming to stay with us for a couple of months, and then last night I didn't get home until almost 11 (I really hate my job sometimes :wall:) but I was able to get this today at the Duel Arena: [spoiler=Attack Level 53 and Combat Level 67] I also managed to get another 75 kills. Only 325 more to go until the tier 4 cap. I've also got 595k xp left until 98 Mining. Switching back and forth between mining and other things is really working well. It's helping to keep my interest level up and hopefully will prevent me from getting burnt out again. I've also started using Mining Urns and I'm really liking them. I certainly won't say no to an extra 6k xp/hr. :) I just have to be careful not to deposit them with the ores (which I've done more than a few times). Well, time for bed now. I have to get up early and help unload the moving truck. G'nite everyone. :^_^:

I would defiantly do that, my only problem is, with cooking I pre-bought EVERYTHING, even selling my gear. So finding something that I can do for an hour or so with nothing, is quite difficult. Any ideas? Dungeoneering. It requires nothing but a ring you get for free.

People do seem pretty upset about it on the RSOF, but also seem willing to wait for it to be done right. Maybe this was Jagex's way of gauging how much longer people are willing to wait it.

I'd say stop every once in a while to do other things in RS and then come back to it. I'm going for 99 Mining (in F2P even) so I can understand how you'd become bored, but I've found that if you do other things (train other skills like DG for example) and then come back it's not so bad. I try and do an couple of hours of Mining and an hour of something else so I don't get burnt out.

That doesn't change the fact that even what the recreational users is doing is against the law. (RuneScape parallel = botters knowingly breaking the rules)

I got a bit confused at first because I just subtracted to convert the timezone (you GMT+1, me GMT-5), which meant you had the party two hours before you posted. :lol: I'm helping a friend move tomorrow, but I'll try and be there. Don't forget that the Golden mining top only gives you the chance for extra ores if you already have the Varrock armor, it doesn't have the effect on it's own. :wink:
