  1. Any word on this? I just tried it again and the problem is still happening.
  2. That's wrong. I calc'ed it myself, it's 42k/hr. :P Even better! I'm looking forward to training there. So much faster than Mining. Nice bank, btw. But why do you have so many pink skirts and empty beer glasses? :-s
  3. I'm absolutely loving the Forever Runescape series. <3: Well done, Kamykazee. I can't wait for part 3. ...there will be a part 3, right?
  4. The only reason these girls aren't facing charges is because the boy's mother isn't pressing them? There seems to be a major failure on the part of all the parents of the children involved in this. At least the girls could potentially face charges. In Canada you can't be charged with a crime if you're under the age of 12.
  5. So once, you got banned because the hacker did something and 4 times you were basically afk'ing? Sounds like all five of them are legit to me. Once wasn't your fault and four times you technically did break the rules. Fair? Probably not, especially the time you got hacked and when you consider how little attention is need for some skills. But sill legit. Just because you don't think you were doing anything wrong, doesn't mean Jagex will see it that way. It doesn't mean that they don't know how (or just flat out can't) detect proper rule breakers, but they do need a serious revamp of the rules to reflect the way people train due to the ways they've updated the game since those rules were written.
  6. Happy Sunday everybody! :^_^: In today's update, I will tell you about the most interesting man in Gielinor. That's right! I've been to the duel arena and met Estocada. [spoiler=Stay victorious my friends.] He seems a decent fellow, I'd hate to die. I also got a boss looking dueling hat, and with my girlfriend's help upgraded it to tier 2. [spoiler=Dig the hawtness.] My gf logged in with Lookoutrock on her laptop (you all remember Lookoutrock, the scout from my first Runite expedition waaaaaaaaay back on page 1, don't you?) and then proceeded to let me beat her senseless while we watched the new episode of Dr. Who. We love Dr. Who, but hate the fact that we're a week behind here in Canada. :wall: I envy all of you in the UK who get it before us. Anyway, she accepted the duels and I rolled up the kill count. I'm now half-way to tier 3 with a kill count of 50. Not bad for less than an hour. I'm going to keep slowly working on this off and on when I can and eventually upgrade my hat to tier 6 with it's epic emote. <3: Hmm...I'm starting to think I might be setting too many goals for myself here. :-k Oh well, lots of different activities will keep me from burning out on mining. Speaking of which, it's not been forgotten. I've been slowly chipping away at it and now have less than 750k xp to go until level 98. Yesterday after some mining on the German server, I logged back in on an English one so I could do some Dungeoneering and found several piles of ores around me when I logged in. So I started picking them up and banking them and coming back for more. It looked like there were several drop mining bots running (I didn't think anyone did that anymore) and I looted load after load of iron, coal, the occasional mithril and even some uncut gems. I also mined some of the higher level ores around while waiting for them to drop. I can't remember the last time I had that much fun mining. I'm glad there's no rule about looting from bots like some other games have. Is it wrong to loot from bots? After all, every load of iron I get for free is a load I don't have to buy to work on my Smithing later. So this morning I finally got around to doing that DG'ing and got a couple of levels. [spoiler=Constitution Level 54] [spoiler=Dungeoneering Level 43] Four Abandoned floors, and I got the same boss (Skinweaver/skeleton horde) three times. Made for some easy battles. I'm now half-way to my DG goal of level 50 and my second bind, and just two more levels until the final F2P resource dungeon. My next DG goal after that will be an Arcane Blast Necklace, but that's a ways off yet. It kind of bugs me that the tokens needed for the DG rewards are way to high for their levels. It's impossible to gain enough tokens to buy stuff at the level it becomes available (1 token per 10xp is only 10133 tokens by level 50 and the necklace costs 15k tokens). :wall: @Nerdboyxxx, sorry I didn't say 'hi' to you this morning. I didn't notice you were logged in until I went to edit the picture. I'll keep an eye out for you next time.
  7. Nice! Congrats. I love the Artisan's Workshop. <3: It's made training Smithing almost like Woodcutting or Fishing. I'll be using it myself once I'm done with Mining. Which ingots are you smithing?
  8. "You discover that there are no fish within the Ivy vines. You gain 30 experience points."
  9. Lady Heinous changed her name to 'Shyla'.
  10. Nice Prayer level. I'm very jealous (I'm only 46). How have you been training it? Did you buy the bones?
  11. Gratz on three 99's in as many days. =D> Nice collections of rares, btw. Did you drop some of that staking cash on them as well?

I have the Logitech M570 wireless trackball (it's actually my second one - I had a corded one for years). It's an excellent multi-purpose mouse, but doesn't have the extra macro buttons the Naga does. For general browsing and games like RuneScape it's great though; smooth tracking and the wireless receiver is very low-profile. Perfect for laptops.
  13. I got stuck on a job and couldn't come. I hope it went well. Congratulations.
  14. Fixed. The day Jagex starts moderating this forum is the day I leave it. Agreed. If I wanted to read/post on the RSOF, I would.
  15. To what end? They already answered our question about the scripts.
  16. I think that Ginger made an excellent suggestion that in the case of something that has already been proven, then the burden of proof falls upon the person presenting the dissenting opinion. This should only apply to things that have been previously shown to be correct as opposed to simply being claimed as common knowledge. I realize that I'm arguing semantics with that, but if there's going to be a policy change to this effect then there needs to be an established base line to begin from. Also, I agree with you that the idea of a sticky is unmanageable which is why I questioned it.
  17. I've never done it either. If someone doesn't have enough loyalty or has that many problems with their clan that they want to leave, then I say that clan is getting off easy if that person leaves on their own.
  18. Give it away for free and ask people to pay what they think it's worth? It worked for Radiohead.
  19. Edit: Due to my laggy connection I missed both Ginger's post and your response in agreement dealing with both my points. Sorry about that. I'm not trying to prolong the argument.
  20. 1. Ted Bundy 2. Ted Kaczynski (what is it with people named "Ted"?) 3. Paul Bernardo 4. Richard Ramirez 5. Gary Ridgway and that's just from the last, what, 30 years?
  21. Before the benefits of hand washing were common knowledge, the fact that doctors were gentlemen and "a gentleman's hands are always clean" was "common knowledge". That, left unquestioned, led to many deaths (mostly of newborns and mothers during childbirth). Someone thinking something is common knowledge, doesn't mean that it is, or that it's correct. If people are to debate properly, then both sides must provide their own facts or attempt to dispute the facts of others. Simply accepting something because a portion of the community accept it as "common knowledge" is foolhardy. If the platform of your "common knowledge" is so unstable that it cannot withstand questioning, then perhaps it's not so "common" after all.
  22. From what I understand, it doesn't make crafting tiaras much faster (the animations are still the same). It's just made it a bit easier.
  23. Glad to hear your exams are going well. I wouldn't worry too much about your English one, your English is better than mine half the time. Isn't Mandarin a version of Chinese? I'd have thought you'd be better at it than English. I don't know a lot about China, or Chinese for that matter, so I'm sorry if that's ignorant of me to assume. You know I luvs ya. <3:
  24. I don't know about other online games, but it's very easy to limit communication in RS. You simply lie about your age and get limited to quickchat only.
  25. Well, since you asked so nicely... ;-) BEHOLD THE AWESOMENESS THAT IS LAST NIGHTS LEVELS!!! [spoiler=Crafting Level 53] [spoiler=Defence Level 53] [spoiler=Dungeoneering Level 42 and Total 970] Total level 970! Woot! One step closer to 1000. :-D I can't remember the last time I gained so many combat levels in such a short time (or any combat levels for that matter). I'm also getting better with the floors, and have my average time for a C6 small down under 30 minutes. I know I should probably be able to do them faster, but I'm still trying to get as much xp per floor as I can so I can open up as many new floors as possible before I reset. I'm also spending time at the end to gain Crafting xp, so I'm sure that's slowing me down by a few minutes. The new Fremennik Sagas look great, and I'm really happy that they released at least part of it for F2P. Of course, I'd be happier about it if I hadn't finished the Frozen floors two days before. :wall: Oh well, I'll just wait until I have to reset again and then do them. Hopefully they'll have ironed out the bugs by then. It's too bad you can only get each reward once (which I suppose makes sense), but it will give me enough xp to level up Ranged without doing anything so that's pretty cool.
