Efficiency
If I wanna do something efficiently, I'll ask or just do the calculations myself. If not, please take your efficiency elsewhere, because I will not care to listen to it.

21-Sept-10 Gunnar's Ground
No you don't. The dwarf has his own, and just requires you to engrave it.

Or, to put it a different way: Mather's gonna make some MOAR FORUM DRAMA@@@@@@

The Back Room
I'd play, if I could find the time... And I intend to still continue Great Unknown, I've just been busy lately.

I like bacon, but I don't like bacon on anything. Bacon's awesomeness is diluted by such ridiculous combinations. Also, did you know they make bacon vodka? Bacon. Vodka. SO MUCH WIN.

Bacon is the duct tape of food. It goes with EVERYTHING. The day someone finds a way to make bacon ice cream with chunks of bacon (that menaces with spikes of bacon) is the day we have the world's next millionaire.

I played it as more than a "just do cool stuff" game. I managed my budget, to the dollar, as well as my military, ships.... eventually, it got to where Hegemony was more important than homework, simply because Hegemony was a more fun version of homework for me. So I quit, and I'm not planning to ever play Hegemony again.

Oh yes, because deciding the outcome of wars based on a vote between the 5 people with the best record of whatever is DEFINITELY a good idea. Especially if they're involved in the war. I mean, nobody's going to just try and cripple who they think is the "most powerful" player, right? [/sarcasm] Your Anti-Dusty measures need work. Also, you could just write all this down and post it when you're unbanned as opposed to saying "F the authority" and finding a way around it.

Is there any...
This belongs in H&A. And the question has already been answered.

When smart weaponry was mentioned, my first thought was "As opposed to dumb weaponry?" And then I got a mental image of an AK47 basically saying "derrrrppppppppp" It was funnier in my head, I swear.

A hegemony where you can't lose? Sorry, not interested. Part of the fun in hegemony is developing a military so when someone shoots the politician, you come out alive afterwards. Not "I can lose over and over and over and over again until either the war ends or I reach the point where my country only exists in half of someone's subconscious! (where, after the war, I will slowly spread and recreate my country, of course.)" One sided treaties should be allowed. You lose a war, you're gonna have to make a treaty that screws you over a bit. If it keeps the victor from wiping you off the map, though, you'll do it. Other than that, it sounds good... except that I can't play Hegemony anymore. I tried it once, and it distracted me from my schoolwork to the point where I was failing...

Well, time to start falling asleep then. Man, if we could get research grants for this...

o_O I usually end up with ~6fps when I hit about 80 dwarves. Which is why, recently, I've been playing forts in worlds generated with 1000 titans and 200 volcanoes... in a pocket region. Also, I figured out how to implement the [sPEED:0] thing. MACH 10 DWARVES GO

Sheesh. I leave for a day, and suddenly the tavern goes to all hell. And on the topic of DF, I'm having fun modding stuff in. So far, I've got a metal with about half the qualities of adamantine that is capable of being found rarely in gold ore, a new ore that creates 2 new metals - 1 super-dense, brittle, bad-edge one, and one super-light, brittle, well-edged one. Oh, and rifles, sledgehammers, and machetes. Having DF on a laptop with ~6 hours of battery life is good for roadtrips.

Although that is not a small are of comparison. And you tested every bed, in every hotel, in every one of those countries?

Yep, sure is. How do your childhood memories of playing Zelda feel now? I never played Majora's Mask. And now I don't want to. :ohnoes:

@Economy - You done goofed up.
Ahhhh, there it is. On-topic: We all know the RS economy is screwed up and driven by "merchants" and new updates. What more is there to say?

Actually, as shown on Stan Lee's Superhumans, there is in fact a blind man who can navigate by echolocation. Not to mention the guy immune to rattlesnake venom, people with improved vision... Sometimes it comes with practice, sometimes by genetics. Sometimes both.

Whip > D'Claws/SS/AGS/BGS/ZGS/SGS ~ Best weapon in RS.
Dclaws is superior as a spec weapon. As a normal weapon, they aren't even worth mentioning. Actually, they're more worth laughing at in that regard. But yeah, thanks for stating facts that pretty much every 'scaper knows. Except for the wrong ones, ofc... Your first three facts are irrelevant relative to a whip - they're just stuff regarding claws and GS. The fourth.... I'm having trouble interpreting. SS isn't for show, it's for strength training. Y'know, since whip has no aggressive option? The one fluke preventing whip from being the only buyable super-weapon? lol@ Whip spec being useful. And finally, c rapier > all that listed. And if "the majority" wants the best weapon, they damn well better earn it.

Frost dragon bones are best to use while on brawlers
It wouldn't be as hard as you'd think. Grind the bones and fill the buckets outside PvP, and then do the offering bit on a PvP world, using a ring of duelling to bank. it still takes ~5x as long as gilded altering, with more risk. Yeah, sans the risk bit. I mean , how many pkers actually hang around Mobilising Armies and the Ectofuntus?
