  1. Dungeonal's Party - And north you go! Earth - While walking you stumble across some sticks and random iron bits, which you pick up. Hey, they may be useful later. +0.1 scavenger. You then stumble upon a cave. Do you go in, continue walking, or walk in a completely different direction?
  2. Alright then. Dungeonal's Party - You exit the town. In which direction do you travel?
  3. Alrighty then. Dungeonal - Do you want to leave the town with just the two of you, be joined by a NPC, or wait for a 3rd player to join your party?
  4. We're not starting gameplay for a bit, Ross, so that's okay. You still need to pick a class though :P
  5. K, Dungeonal has to approve.
  6. Earth - You can join an NPC party, try to join Dungeonal's party, or wait and see if someone else makes a different party for you to join.
  7. Earth - Okay, you wanna be a leader, or join a party? Dungeonal - Pick a weapon.
  8. So it begins. This game is.... best described as a blend of insanity, tactics, and luck. You start in a small town with a few of your friends. You can choose to either be the leader, or be a "follower." Starting groups are limited to 3 people. You may have other players as a part of your group. The group can separate, but not in a way that they cease to be a group. (I.E. no roaming 300 miles to the west off on your own.) Each character has 5 main stats, along with other "proficiency" stats like those in Dungeoneering. These 5 are Leadership, Accuracy, Strength, Speed, and Defense. They determine various factors in a fight, of which there will be many. These can be altered by equipment, which will be addressed later. Accuracy determines the accuracy of that character's attacks, Strength determines the strength of the attack, Speed determines dodge abilities as well as how quickly the character can move to various places, and Defense determines how well that character can defend themselves. Leadership affects stuff only by way of the leader of the group, and affects morale and other passive elements. Every character starts with 1 Leadership. Each character has a starting class: [hide=Warrior] Starting skills: 3 Defense 2 Accuracy 2 Strength 1 Speed Starting equipment: Basic iron melee weapon. Starting abilities: 1.0 Melee [/hide] [hide=Archer] Starting skills: 3 Accuracy 2 Speed 2 Strength 1 Defense Starting equipment: Basic iron ranged weapon, and 30 pieces of ammo. Starting abilities: 1.0 Archery [/hide] [hide=Mage] Starting skills: 2 Accuracy 2 Speed 2 Defense 1 Strength Starting equipment: Basic elemental staff. Starting abilities: Can enchant equipment X amount of times, with X being the proficiency level of the type of magic being used 1.0 Magic of any elemental type [/hide] [hide=Rogue] Starting skills: 3 Speed 2 Strength 2 Accuracy 1 Defense Starting equipment: Basic iron knife. Starting abilities: 1.0 Agility [/hide] [hide=Craftsman] Starting skills: 1 Strength 1 Speed 1 Accuracy 1 Defense Starting equipment: Iron smithy's hammer Iron fletching knife String Starting abilities: 3.0 in 3 of any forging/crafting/fletching abilities. [/hide] Battles Combat is turn-based in a Fire Emblem style, sans the tile movement - that is, the leader of one group gets to move their people around tactically and/or attack, then the enemy gets to. The leader makes all tactical decisions, but if a player in a group decides that a different tactic is necessary, he can temporarily rebel against the leader at a varying cost and execute his own tactic on his own. If you wish to join another player's party, the party must A ) have room, and B ) have a leader that will allow you to join. If the leader has low Leadership, you may end up being able to join anyways. Party names will be chosen by the leader. Any empty spots in a party will be filled with randomly generated NPCs. If there's anything you have questions about, feel free to ask. I'm pretty sure I forgot to write some stuff in here, so I expect questions. Actions can be posted whenever, and will be replied to en masse whenever the mod (Me) has time. If a party leader goes inactive (5-8 actions), the character with the next highest Leadership in the party becomes the temprorary leader. Rest of first post reserved for party lists. 9. In a sentence? Errr..... Danget, I never was very good at describing my own ideas. You'll have to see when I make the topic.
  10. I'm actually working out the details of a new game that I might start. Right now, it's all in my head, but I'll put up a topic for it soon.
  11. During lunch/spares, we're allowed to go basically anywhere except for the actual college campus nearby. Unless we have a class there.
  12. And now it's time to watch prayer supplies shoot through the roof again. And the only diary I can complete is the Seers one (got 92 herb with BXPW) - good thing that one appears to be the most useful. I mean, added chance of bolt specials, and twice the healing from EE. (Well, and the Lummy hard one, but that doesn't really count.) Also.... FFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU RC REQUIREMENTS
  13. Got from almost-89 herb to 92 with ~300k xp to 93. Oh, and a random Dungeoneering level that I was close to anyways. I just can't wait for this to end so I can go back to using normal multiplier stuff.
  14. Now, take all the instances in which you've said PDA, and interpret it as Public Display of Affection as opposed to Personal Digital Assistant.
  15. I got rickrolled by a radio once. It was funny to me, but not anyone else around me. Guess they needed to lrn2interwebz.
  16. I might try it. Just to see how it works.
  17. Theros tries to charge his staff with a powerful fire spell, using the town-on-fire as a power source. I'm in the middle of an abandoned town that I lit on fire before getting randomly assaulted by a vampire.
  18. I r here.
  19. It's cheap, amusing, and is multitaskable.
  20. Nex? A mod for what? Actually, Nex being a forum mod wouldn't end too badly, aside from the fact that he's just as insane as... everyone... else.... here....... .... See Archi's picture.
  21. What he said.
  22. Session today? Maybe?
  23. Me. Because I'm A BAWS. ya srsly
  24. And I could say the same. But for now, I'll be content with dropping sails on your countrymen whilst you settle your diplomatic matters.
  25. I got like 300k herb xp with herbs I've been holding from MTK. I was going to rc, but didn't want to bother with ZMI'ing my bank. I then wanted to hunt, but EVERY STUPID RED SALAMANDER SPOT WAS FULL. So I'm down in the LRC mining gold for no reason whatsoever.
