Dungeoneering
Do you think that if we managed to get enough people here, the next session could be soon?

Dungeoneering
I can't really rate your modding, Edel, as I was only present for 1 action or so.

Dungeoneering
Theros attempts to charge his staff with a couple of basic fireball spells. (I'm going to be using a weird magic mechanic, if you don't mind. The basis of it is that most of his spells are easily interruptable, unless he casts them from something (staff, amulet, armor, whatever.) So he charges his equipment with casts of spells before he goes off to do stuff. If someone's keeping him from being hit, though, he can still cast stuff on the fly.)

Dungeoneering
Theros looks around to figure out where on earth he is.

20-Aug-2010 - Cryptic Clue Fest II
I was going to participate in the Cluefest, but I really can't be bothered running around the F2P area bringing random crap to people in order to get a new aesthetics outfit. I'll stick with my current 30 or so skilling outfits, tyvm.

An Elitist's View on Crashing
As much as I hate being crashed, I think it's perfectly fine when necessary. And I will crash if I've been worldhopping for an hour/in a pissy mood and can't be bothered to hop. You don't like it? Sucks for you; maybe you should train up so you can outcrash me. Until then, gtho. Now people crashing you when it's unnecessary, just because they can, or failing so badly at crashing that all they do is slow you down, that's a different story. (And yes, I refer to TDs here. Seriously, why do people crash there? There are so many spots you can use... in fact, I know of a few spots that are only safely usable if there's someone else in a different spot.)

Poor equipment stats on quest related stuff
I think the biggest disappointment in this thread is the lack of mention of the 300 QP helm. I mean, the thing requires most of the quests nowadays, and gives....? JACK SQUAT.

Dwarf fortress
I think my hunters extincted everything non-cavernous on the island.

Dwarf fortress
This must be posted in the "bad-ass civilian" thread on the Bay12 forums. And I am now training a military squad and waiting for my hunter dwarves to hit legendary crossbow status so I can go forgotten-beast hunting. This map just has an overall lack of fun.
-
Dwarf fortress
I am now thoroughly tempted to name all of my military uniforms after Fire Emblem classes... and have all the high-agility classes enter the training spear room to train their dodging to legendary. On a semi-related note, this is my first fort to break 100 dwarves. I think it's due to the lack of elf/goblin civs existing. Also my first fort to have triplets, who all died ironically in a fun aquifer incident. (One of them was swimming in salt water(wth censor?) until it reached 7/7, then he drowned like an hour later. o_O) Oh, and totally random bit: I HAVE NINE PAGES OF DEAD TIGERS AND MONKEYS. MY HUNTERS KICK ASS. Wait.... something killed a forgotten beast. News to me...

Is Anyone Playing Dungeoneering for Fun?
I dungeoneer for both fun and experience - if I end up on a team of people who don't talk about anything besides where Key Door Y is, I'll usually end up either getting bored and leaving or blathering on until one of them talks and/or kicks me. Regardless, I usually have some pretty fun dungeons, even with people from w117. (As a matter of fact, there's a guy on my friendslist now from w117 who I help with rushing through early floors.)

BOTS.
This. And inb4thelock. [/troll] Really, they just sorta mess things up for the people who enjoy doing stuff that gets botted.

Going to be plowing through herbs from the last couple of weeks from MTK/farming, then runecrafting. Once I hit minimum multiplier, I'll go do summoning, then more runecrafting, or mage, or slayer, or.... Also, YAY FOR SCREWED UP ECONOMY AGAIN

19-Aug-10 Dungeoneering The Occult Floors
When progressing through dungeons, if you've purposefully selected a lower complexity, the complexity level will no longer increase as you progress through the floors. Barnabas in Varrock Museum has noticed the popularity of the strange rocks and can now help you further by offering a bag to store them in. On a related note, the chance of getting a rock from Construction activities has been increased slightly. THANK GOD. I haven't done dungeoneering yet, but some of the new rewards look like they could be fun... Does the herbicide just clean the herb, or destroy it entirely?

Dwarf fortress
Good grief. Over half of my forts now have ended due to Windows shutting itself down before I could save my game. SCREW YOU TOO, WINDOWS. SCREW YOU TOO. On a semi-related note, I just almost flooded my fort due to my first time using a pump. Yeah, that was fun.

The Back Room
New layout is..... going to take getting used to. THE FONT IS NOW FRIGGIN' SMALL.

Dwarf fortress
I think I just had the most epic artifact of all time made. A Green Glass.... BUCKET. Worth 10,800 dwarfbux. Cue the massive line of immigrants coming to my "OMG wealthy" fort.

SoN V2: The Fall of Napta
