  1. I'm wondering which one would be better: bone dagger p++ or darklight? I've seen people use bgs but I don't think that would be any good.
  2. Nothing in a computer program is completely random there has to be a set of numbers in the program to determine the "randomness" of it. It could be made less random by decreasing the number range. I don't really know how to explain it well but that's pretty much the best I can do to explain that. Maybe I could go into more detail about that if you don't get it but idk :) EDIT: Hmm that might only be with selecting a number at random but I guess it would be the same as selecting a drop at random.
  3. I can do about 1.3k d bones an hour at my gilded alter, that's about 320k xp per hour, with each trip having at least 1 minute of afk time usually more. How much easier and faster do you want prayer to be? Other than that I agree with most of the other things you said though. I don't want it to be necessarily easy at all. I just want it to be different. Prayer is not even a skill based around combat, if you consider the way you train it. You train prayer the way you would train a non-combat skill. And if you would like to look into it, then prayer is the equivalence of Herblore, and how we got non-tradable potions. Prayer costs a lot, and the only way you can use the higher level prayers is by spending a lot of money to level up, which if you ask me is the same thing people were complaining about when the overload potions came out. If burring bones was made easier and more worthwhile, or we were given another way to gain prayer xp off of each kill we get, then prayer would be less biased to rich people, and PvP would no longer be based around how rich you are. However, as of now and how it has always been, prayer is just another skill to buy up, rather than train. This argument is mainly for Jagex, because it's rather hypocritical for them to take extremes and overloads out of the wilderness but not take out prayers. The argument is also because prayer shouldn't be a grind skill, and there are plenty of other options that could be made to train it. Oh when you said grind it I thought you meant it was too hard and annoying to train (Sorta like thieving)
  4. Personally I'd just keep slaying and save some money and time training summoning using crimsons and blues only.

    No updates?

I'm gonna look at the positive side of this, it will probably be a huge update the next update. Which I believe they said would be January 11th?
  6. What in the video is mousekeyed and what is with the mouse itself? My question isn't anwerred yet :P.. Just the "5" key to click is used. You repeatedly hit the 5 key while moving your mouse normally over the herbs. Easy money and xp if you find the herbs that sell for more than the grimy herb(sometimes they don't sell in the ge so you gotta watch for that)

  8. Mobilising armies till I can imbue fremmy rings, thieving until it hits 70 and runecrafting bloods for the rest of the time.
  9. Favorite- I'd say it's a tie between farming and summoning Least favorite- Thieving I can't stand it
  10. Using mousekeys (only using the 5 key to click, move the mouse quickly over the herbs while quickly pressing 5) my friend was doing about 80k xp/hour cleaning herbs... But he was cleaning dwarf weed idk if they make money atm. I did it and managed like 70k xp/hour.
  11. Exactly... How can you say something like: Farming to make food used in combat > combat can use smithed armour That doesn't connect farming to smithing that connects farming to cooking. Just because food is used in combat does not mean it is related to smithing because like kenshinjapan said, used in combat =/= smithing.
  12. Same except backwards for me lol I'm ranked higher then my bro but he's on the list I'm not. I feel left out <_< But seriously this is probably all a big joke by some bored moron sitting in a basement somewhere.
  13. I'm not going to read a book with a typo in the title -- people are less likely to read a guide with a typo in the name. Just fix the damn thing -- that'll make it look much better. I agree, if you're going to make a guide you're going to have to accept when you get corrected for grammar and spelling in the guide and fix it.
  14. Each hammer lasts for 50,750 experience so if you got 5 hammers it would last until you needed 10k left the you would run out. So technically you'll need 6 hammers for all the experience but you're better off only getting 5 and not using a sc hammer for the last 10k xp.
  15. Sorry to hijack your thread, but what's with the ancient staff? I've been seeing people use these a lot lately and always wondered why.
  16. Hmmm, Maybe; but isn't range def paramount in this cave where cannoneers hit over 40? You're praying range at the beginning anyway, so they'll be meleeing you. Once aggro stops, the cannoneers will be in combat 90% of the time, so a defender is much better. Ya the defense of a dfs is only needed here if you really want to try to tank them when they're still aggressive but you'll still probably die even if you had a dfs tanking while they're aggressive. You're going to end up praying range here when they're aggressive anyway so you won't need all the defense of a dfs a rune defender with barrows armour works fine after they're non aggressive. The max is 38 just in case you want to know how high you should keep your hp.
  17. [spoiler=ridiculous rant] Yeah, look at this idiot: On a more serious note- If your bothered by the rants, don't visit the rant forum. It's as simple as that. Lol that's hilarious..... and what amazing ideas he came up with to replace prayers  But ya it's better that jagex keeps the rants forums to keep trolls out of other forums. Let them all hang out and troll in one place.
  18. That's exactly the site I was looking for, thanks :)
  19. I had a website bookmarked that had a drop counter program for bosses and higher level monsters but the bookmark got deleted, can anyone give me the link to it.
  20. I haven't used it on the lower level dagganoth monsters (only dks) but due to the very slow speed of it (it's slightly slower then a gs) a whip seems like it would beat balmung on lower level monsters. The level 88 dagganoth have 85 hp and from my experience with balmung I've maxed a 75, using slayer helm, super pots and turmoil, balmung could easily kill it in 2 hits but a whip can also kill them in 2 hits only faster and even if you didn't kill it in 2 hits you can still get 3 hits in(maybe 4? I haven't timed the hits) before balmung hits twice. I might actually go test them both on the lower level dagganoth just to figure this out actually. The max hits of the whip are assuming killing them while on a slayer task with slayer helmet, super pots, and piety/turmoil. (I used the max hit calculator with those conditions, a strength bonus of 129, and 99 strength)
  21. Use it on prayer or summoning, don't use "free" xp on skills like runecrafting. Example: using the 400k xp from while guthix sleeps all on prayer saves about 7.6m, if you used that on something like runecrafting all you're doing is saving some time training it while not gaining any money or savings from the xp(technically losing money). Sorry to say this but you have to have 75+ in the skill to use the xp from blood runs deep on it.
  22. I was really hoping the new skill would be one giant money sink (useful at the same time but still a huge money sink) but then I realized it was supposed to be f2p and I doubt they would add a huge money sink that's also a f2p skill <_< Oh well hopefully it will be a very nice skill anyway.
  23. Atleast 15 times because sometimes I lag very bad using wifi.
