[hide] You sure that's not a misquote? I mean Corrupt/PvP drops I'd understand but Chaotic Weapons exist exclusive to the Wilderness and PKing.. ? Or am I mistaken?! Check the pic on page 2. That's what he said. [/hide] You're right the evidence is there, all I can say is that to me it appears he is referring to clue scrolls and abyss which he mentions in lines above, it has also been cut a lot, so I don't know if it's not just a list of responses.. Meh speculation fail  :wall:

Small Addition to Woodcutting Guide
A_Fiasco replied to Xerock's topic in Completed Website Corrections
 This is where I collected oak to make oak planks back when prices for Construction were insane! -
Well today rather than ramble about the impending Wilderness some more, or speculate what is behind the Frozen Door, I decided to rewind my blog, (dare I say the best and most popular blog ever on Tip.It :shades: ) I have never really been all that strong a force in the general discussion threads and in my opinion the welcome to Tip.It sticky is a bit brief.. So, here is my very own hand made fun-bits and facts about A_Fiasco  > Irl name: Jake > Been playing RS since: Autumn 2004, on Dial Up! > Reason I started playing: A friend used to tell me all his crazy stories from this game  > First scam I fell for: The 'give me your armour' trust scam > First death: To a greater demon in the Wilderness.. Sigh  > Did I once believe in RS girlfriends/boyfriends: Yes. :wall: > Favourite Skill to train: Firemaking/WC in F2P at Draynor Village, fun times :P > Reason I chose my Username: General Fiasco = Awesome Band! ;) > First Pk experience?: Unsuccessful.. Bound, Teleblock'd then dropped.. > Favourite memory of myself being a Noob: Scammer - 'Trimming all armour for free' Me - *With Iron Armour* 'Ooo Please Trim mine! I'll pay' Scammer - 'Only do black and above..' > Quest I found hardest so far: Monkey Madness and that dumb slider puzzle... Gah! #-o > Most prized Runescape item: My Bob the Cat T shirt (red) \:D/ > Scariest Moment in RS for me so far: When I first got my D Long I went to fight the Giant Mole, he blew my candle out and as it went dark I nearly screamed I was so worried I'd die  > Runescape pet-hate: People who flame others over their Skill capes, c'mon even 99 Fletch still takes planning, time and a grind! > First RS Youtuber I loved: Dudefish15.. where'd he go :( > Ways I like to AFK: Read/do homework while listening to the sounds only, and learning a Tab in one half of the screen while I check RS occasionally too :) > One piece of Runescape advice: Ignore those who hate on you, it's not worth the fight.. You can't beat a troll very easily! > Current Runescape Goal: 99 Woodcutting :) (Lvl 95..) > Runescape big goal? To be look cool and kick butt! So there we go, that is my little trivia sheet for me. Feel free to post your answers to the questions, add in any of your own good ideas for questions! And leave out any of mine you don't think are a good idea :) Look forward to seeing your replies! :) - Fi

@ Gandalf- Yeah I agree that the new interface at the trade menu, and recommended trade price will sort out scamming a lot. :) @ K4ylan- As for, keeping in content, that's quite exciting tbh.. We could have in that case a merging of the two.. Giving reason to poach the pesky Revenants for Corrupt dragon weapons or something..

[hide] If you are helpless in wilderness you should be killed.. really wilderness is wilderness: you should prepare for everything when going there! -In agility course you can easily evade by jumping through the obstacles faster than the pkers! -Clues are only very short time in wilderness (like 1 minute max).. Just take black dhide & a full inventory of sharks (maybe a brew) and no one will touch you. (if you run AWAY of them of course).. -clan wars are reacheable by game necklace, same for the volcano (but please bring back my graveyard).. Deamonheim is easily reachable through al kharid/ring (who in their right mind walks all the way?) -chaos tunnels are reacheable at various locations (hard to patrol) - even through non wilderness! Only problem are quests: quests require you to read various parts (books & lore) which interfere with the interface of runescape.. [/hide] Yeah man I agree the Wildy should be dangerous, tbh I was clowning around. I agree that when people moan about it being unfair, well they really that is the essence of the Wilderness and they just need to man up :P Cause after all People are also over estimating just how full the wildy was on every world anyways, I remember exploring and never found many groups of them.. There was unofficial worlds n' stuff

So.. Keep Revenants in? I personally would like to see nothing less than a lvl 50 and a lvl 12 walking in the Wily, when suddenly a Revenant drops his scummy scamming soul! Before the lvl 12 runs off with all his loot :P YES PLEASE! Or better still an ongoing war of Revenants and Pkers outside Clan Wars etc. Just saunter in as they all flee from the Orks and Knights! Haha that'd be awesome :P Like as soon as you're skulled the Revenants are onto you... Kinda like wearing the 'One Ring' from LoTR.. Then we'd see if it's worth killing us helpless agility trainers and clue scroll-ers!

I agree it was that freedom of the world that was so charming when you were starting out :) No one likes to be controlled! I just hope they implement it all well, G.E is well managed, what becomes of Revenants? and Drops like Vesta Long?

Hello again, my valued Tip.It readers! All four of you.. You know who you are <3: Today, with the huge poll arising.. my Woodcutting ambience has been broken. The Wildy appears to be making a return! Now I am no expert in predicting Jagex like some of our community, but the thought this poll is a publicity stunt scares me a lot, the cynicism of Jagex to do this and toy with it's members just for a World Record? Shameful! The thought of Wildy returning immediately excited me, I voted for both of my accounts and nearly wee'd at the thought of PvP and Free Trade returning.. But after flicking through the forums here I was filled with dread. The Falador riots when PvP was banned were some of the most iconic moments in RS history, but we as a community came through it and have adjusted our play styles for this. How will the re-introduction affect Runescape? Scammers will return with tricks both new and old, PvP will no longer be Green d'Hide and a Rune Scimitar as I remember it. I am not pretending to be an oracle, and it really interests me to know what you think is going to change, good or bad if this comes in. Personally, I like the idea of prices being as of old, it baffles me that yews are 450gp and so on, I have, personally an old school mentality, but we all adapted to the new G.E etc. But then again what do I know :) Post a reply! I'll take thumbs down too! :D :P - Cheers Fi

I remember my friend and I had a plan to make us rich! We would mine Iron in Fally and haul it up to the furnace, smelt it rinse repeat, we never did give up hope  The Dark Mages scared the hell out of me outside Varrock! And the Demon was a mysterious being, I didn't dare fight. I remember venturing to the wildy for the first time and seeing Moss Giants, Greater demons and thinking 'I am never ever gonna be able to fight these' ... A few years later :shades:

So today, is a good day. Snow is falling, my mug of tea is full and the festive spirit is sweeping over Runescape.. Or not! they should make it snow in Varrock or something, who else is up for a snowball fight in PvP? :P But anyways :) as you probably can tell, I'm still woodcutting, still filling Tip.it's recent blog updates with my junk and rambles :D But today I have a question, to anyone who actually reads these 'thoughts'.. The other kind of person I've met Wc'ing has been flamers/trolls and I have begun to wonder, is it just me who attracts a good trollin' ? How often do you get trolled or flamed for having a n0oB this, or training a skill a particular way.. Moreover if you are one of these people justify your actions! :P Is it all light hearted and I'm just thin skinned? Or is it a duty of people who are experienced to dish out a bit of tough love to naive players such as myself?! Extra bit - Doing a skill which is largely AFK I spend a whole lot of time on YT, and I don't know what the rules are on tip.it but MondoMedia have started a new series called 'Stick' Figures and I recommend it to all! In fact does anyone have any good rs commentators? All the ones I'm subbed too have stopped making vids tbh, lets do swap for swap on good YT channels!

I think it comes with the Holidays, people put their macros on so they can go out? And also cause they are off School probably wanna get easy lvls and cash while they play COD or whatever. One thing that irritates me, is the high level bots.. I actually find swarms of green shirted bald yew-crazy woodcutters quite funny :)

200M Firemaking XP
A_Fiasco replied to AirWales's topic in Achievements (Drops, Bank Pictures and Levels)
Waheyy! That makes my aim of crummy 99wc look kinda minuscule! If you have any secret tips to share about getting quick xp, surviving the grind or the actual method please share! :D after all you have had 200m experience at it ;) Congratulations :) Gf Firemaking! :P -
Wilderness should always be a problematic place to venture, that's the point of it! There are ways to avoid them and there are certainly ways to defeat them, my friend and I are currently developing tactics in F2P to become a pro-Rev Slaying duo! :D
-
Now that's not very festive is it? Bah Humbug! But you're probably right :)
-
Hello all! i'd like to congratulate the last 2 pages I viewed for having no Justin Beiber! :P I'm listening to the new Kings of Leon album and then Warpaint - The Fool :)
-
So today I am over halfway to my very first 99, I have become an excellent AFK-er and pro vanquisher of the evil tree (when I remember its going to spawn). In my time cutting trees I've met 2 kinds of WC people, and bots ofc :P The first are friendly, usually high levelled members of our community, its a fact I've come to accept as an old player with only 86 Combat level, my opinion is not worth a lot in this game! But at Ivy there is a feeling that this peace extends to the whole of Runescape! So i highly recommend Wc to relax if you've been with trolls for too long! That is if you can stand the repetitiveness ! :P - That'll do for my first post, Fi

Personally, Revs are an awesome little bit of fun if you're stuck with f2p for a while  Up at the demonic ruins its quite fun, :) I don't think there's anything wrong with them, but they could maybe each have a different degrading Revenant drop?

Free Trade and Old Wilderness back [21-Dec-2010]
A_Fiasco replied to Logdotzip's topic in General Discussion
I don't see how this has anything to do with me saying I like the grind and I like the simple gameplay, I was illicitly saying, if you want a game with greater depth, you have to lose part of the large scope Runescape has. If you want an in depth wholly devloped combat system in your MMO, why not play WOW? -

Free Trade and Old Wilderness back [21-Dec-2010]
A_Fiasco replied to Logdotzip's topic in General Discussion
You've got it totally right, I mean I've been around for a long time, but never been particularly good at the game, but RS is a unique MMO, just because WOW dictates we must have quick endgame, where arguably the game begins properly, does not mean RS must follow suit. Runescape has a large scape of skills of different xp rates, prestige and usefulness at 99, the capes caused 99-mania and before 99s were not so important now arguably we all play for these 99s. But the fact remains RS doesn't need to evolve into a browser based World of Warcraft. -
I'd like to see 'a bone' thrown to F2P, maybe a couple stronger weapons, maybe as far as a special attack! Some more content given to them too maybe a boss or something. Then the P2P among us, I personally am set upp to be pleasantly surprised all year, as for me RS isn't that broken atm!
