  1. Moved to General Guides. It's important to note that recharging the TokKul-Zo takes 50k tokkul.
  2. DKS Don't drop effigies. ;) The kiln looks [Harpy]ing difficult, but once the tactics are known, you wont NEED Nex armour swaps to manage it... Which was exactly what people were trying to explain in the BTS topic XD
  3. Only if you were going to there with effigies in mind. The average person wasn't. Even if effigies isn't on the minds of most hunters, it's still rather disappointing to not get them as much since they made for nice cherries on a good trip and made up for any bad or terrible trips, making for a desirable extra to them. At least less people will TD, giving me the incentive to go back and kill a few... *gets an idea* Absolutely, but that wasn't the point I was trying to make XD
  4. Only if you were going to there with effigies in mind. The average person wasn't.
  5. I NEVER considered effigies a 'main feature' of anything. I never had the resources to go out with simply farming them in mind. TDs were out before them, too, and were still prized for their charm rates and gp/hr. That's not going to change, and I can't imagine the prices even blipping for a significant period of time. If the effigy hunters leave, less specialized people will fill the gap (if any) that is left behind.
  6. I don't see why. TDs/ganos are still good cash and glacors are still great for charms and steady profit. o_O That wasn't changed.
  7. I'm not understanding the connection o_O
  8. http://forum.tip.it/topic/307348-new-forum-bbcodes/ And thank you for the answers/explanations! Appreciated :D
  9. The TokKul-Zo provides a 10% bonus against volcanic creatures. But I don't know the percentages per str point. [item=4386] (stat hover-over) versus +4 stab/slash/crush/magic/range attack, +4 stab/slash/crush/magic/range defense, no strength bonus, 10% damage increase
  10. I did the quest semi-afk. Talked to people on irc, browsed forums etc... All songs unlocked from just doing the quest. That's a shame, because the music tracks and atmosphere sounds are very well done.
  11. Simply untrue. If there are multiple skills that have methods of gaining 70-90k/hr, but there are a few that get as low as 30-45k/hr, I would consider that slow regardless of effigies. I never trained with effigies and I still have the sense to realize that Runecrafting is abysmally slow! Come on now....
  12. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4WRoWPhLU2Q For Nerdbomber's effigy collecting
  13. That's a massive assumption, and really misguided.
  14. If they truly intended to fix their mistake, then it would have been better to lower the exp rewards and rework how they are dropped (ie hitpoints, level, etc). This just makes very little sense, and the botched, mish mashed lore coverup for when you log in is ridiculously out of place.
  15. That's not a cape, that's...portable drywall on your back, the hell.
  16. Such a small percentage of an individual's usage of the site is done on computers with permissions like these. >insert sarcastic roll-eyes here
  17. The site is the standard that will eventually be the only one. I know I'm using the old site until the changeover, though. I don't get bothered by popups. If it bothers you so much, consider getting APB until the conversion is complete.
  18. Not to mention that with the greater demand for assisting, more people will be trust trading to open them by charging exorbitant amounts to do so. What this does is also increase the likelihood for scamming, because the assist system hasn't evolved with the times.
  19. Only a fool thinks religion is solely concerning the supernatural. Beyond Sunday Morning Bible School sessions, the emphasis is a lot less on the 'miracles' and far more on the parables and teachings. You're using the "supernatural" aspect (oy vey) as a convenient at-hand excuse to deny a concept you don't like. Which is ironic, because that's what most of the religion-idiots do.
  20. There, now I watched that with commercials and it was still great. No more crying about commercials this season. HRNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG.
  21. First it was said that her bodyguard found her passed out, then that someone found her in the bathroom, now that she drowned in the tub? Inconsistencies >_<'
  22. When TIF was hacked way back in october, it was said to assume the absolute worse when they accessed the database. If your email used to register on Tip.it was the same you attached to your RuneScape account and they recovered your email account (incredibly easy if it's a hotmail/yahoo account) they might have used it to reset your password. So if you didn't take extra lengths to check the security of your email, as was recommended, that could be how they compromised both your TIF and RS account.
  23. Oh god I just went to eat dinner and dg and stuff explodes again.
  24. As a moderator and administrator, Tripsis is an excellent one and is responsible for training some of the best moderators we have on staff. :3 Please don't put her down, because it's just not true. Nope, there have been a few people on staff who have had warnings or even suspensions on their record. When reviewing user history, it has a lot more to do on the progress that individual has made than it is simple "Oh no this person said nipples! in 2006, DENIED"
  25. You might be thinking of the Editorial Panel, who actively accepts applications. But that's in a large part due to the fact that it's [bleep]in' hard to find good writers and editors + high turnover rate.
