Herblore can be trained cheaply without sacrificing too much speed if you're hyper-vigilant on herb prices. If not, then the trade off is spending a bit more cash for a more laid back experience. Some of the greatest areas with finite resources don't have very high requirements. Listing low to high: Iron (lvl 15) - low to medium depending on area; Granite (lvl 45) - medium competition; lava flow mine (lvl 68) - lowest exp but more people helps you find 50% blockage faster teaks (lvl 35) - middle of the road; arctic pines (lvl 54) - best active-clicking exp; Ivy (lvl 68) - best afk'ing exp, crowded but does not impact exp rates too much fly fishing @ shilo (lvl 30) - crowded, not a big issue; barbarian fishing (lvl 70) - crowded but not very impacting on exp rates Etc. And some of the most repeated or worthwhile content comes from mid-level quests: <activity> - <requirements> :: <reward> Tears of Guthix - 49 fm/20 mining/20 crafting :: tears of guthix minigame Throne of Miscellania - 35 herb/10 farm/45 wc/40 fish/30 mining :: MTK daily Royal Trouble - 40 agil/40 slayer :: MTK daily Cold War - 10 hunt/34 con/30 craft/30 agil/15 thieving :: Almost doubles peng D&D exp, access a great mid-level hunting course with very little competition compared to sallies with comparable exp rates Defender of Varrock - 51 agil/51 hunter/54 smithing/59 mining :: unlocks Armored Zombies, don't even need to complete the quest Desert Treasure - 10 slay/50 fm/50 magic/53 thieving :: ancient magicks Fairytale Series - 36 craft/36 wc/10 pray/51 theiving/54 farming/57 herb/59 magic/37 summ :: magic secatures/watering can, no-weedin patches, better loot from, fairy ring network Family Crest - 40 mining/40 smith/59 magic/40 craft - gaunts which can help you obtain cheaper smithing exp or cheaper magic exp (via higher damage, used for lower level magic training) Fremmy Isles and Fremmy Trials - 46 craft/25 fletch/40 wc/20 con/40 agil/56 wc :: unlocks one of the best strength & pray combo boosting helms in the game for the average player (55 def to wear) [item=6698] Honestly at this point of going through quests A-F I got bored. Hopefully the point should be clear. But let's go to the task system: Ardy Medium (15 fish/51 mage/10 con/39 agil/40 thieving/38 str/21 range/46 mine/49 farming/50 fm/57 herb/49 craft) ardy farming patch tele free exp (one time) and ess (daily) [item=8965] Lumbridge All (they're so low and I'm so bored at this point I don't even feel like it) easiest access to farming tele south of fally and port sarim run recharge (amount dependent on level completed) most useful prayer/magic boosting ring for f2p Seers Medium (reqs) coal trucks free flax easy light source Varrock battlestaves, etc... Short quest, not very satisfying, but very delicious exp rewards and the hunting minigame isn't that bad for exp. I think you've got it a bit wrong, unless you want Jagex to constantly be playing catch-up. It sort of needs to happen simultaneously, development for both average and high-level users. But that's extremely hard to do. In the past few years though they've been doing a decent job of balancing it though, and they don't really get credit for it. I just can't agree that RuneScape has neglected mid-level players. Most of the game's foundation circled around producing mid-level content. In addition to that, the past couple of skills released included content from the bottom to the top (slayer, hunter, construction, farming, summoning, dungeoneering, ) and most of these recently released skills are beloved and highly utilized skills of the Runescape community. I realize there's a difference of opinions as to whether this content was successful and that's to be understood, but to say that they're neglecting them is presumptuous.

Some levels. 82 construction, 89 crafting, and 85 thieving. I got most of the experience to 85 thieving exclusively from dungeoneering. I used up all my crafting supplies, going against my BXPW plans, but I don't really care at this point. More time to spend on fishing. I also used up all my spare sacred clay tools. Need to get more to knock out a few more planks.

Buying Herblore Levels
Alternatively you could simply sacrifice 1 bank slot and keep them for the time being. I have 1 slot of them in my bank from when I trained from 75-80 way back when.

Ghosts
Aka I never looked into anything I'm talking about or have convinced myself and therefore everything is false and it doesn't exist. I can reasonably conclude you haven't a shred of experience on the matter and I can confirm you're full of it.

I thought about it. I think you're being sarcastic. (hopefully)

Ghosts
Have you ever listened to EVP's you've recorded yourself and hear clear-speaking voices? I have. Give me the explanation for a little girl's voice on the digital recorder when there is no one in the house under 20, and no other female in the home besides myself. I don't believe every case is a case of ghosts or any sort of paranormal activity. But I don't blindly deny their existence...or even the chance of it. Reason should be promoted--always look first for an explanation. But sometimes there just aren't any. And yes, while we might later find the scientific reasoning for them, it's kind of hard to imagine science explaining away things like EVPs.

So about a week ago I busted the only laptop I had available to me. I filled up a glass of pepsi and placed it on the table beside my laptop, but my dog decided to jump up and spill it all over. So I've only been able to play every now and then when my Dad's asleep and I can use his laptop. So over the time I've done the following. [hide=90 Farming][/hide] [hide=Some Cloo lewts] [/hide] [hide=Slaying Lewtz and 300 Slayer Tasks completed] [/hide] So it hasn't been too bad. Also, those extra slayer points have translated into tasty gp:

Again: stop making stupid assumptions. Safe PVP is cancerous and useless, and anyone who considers clan pvp action to be safe pvp knows very little of clans in general. Pking, clans, ANY dynamic pvp environment has seen a deadly decline over the years. It is ruined, for the reasons you've stated, for the decline in activity, and for continual release of imbalanced content and lack of correction on existing flawed content. Just because you still enjoy the system and can be successful, is irrelevant. I don't blame people for taking advantage of it, because it's all that we have and competition is king. But come on.

Have you ever made blind assumptions before? Lol. Don't make assumptions about people you don't even know. *facepalm* It's hard to take you seriously when you deflect instead of address. Clan pvp, normal pking--you cannot tell me it's not a dried husk of what it used to be without being absolutely full of it.

How to Decant your (1-4) Dose Flasks!
Oh I see, I completely misunderstood what you meant...and I'm thoroughly embarassed. :$!

Tip.It Times - 19th February 2012
PVP is already ruined, all the more reason to re-examine not only defence but the combat triangle and how they interact altogether...which they're doing. So clearly some people think it's 'broken', straight up to Jagex themselves.

Tool belt update and skill guides
Not to mention that you don't want to chop wood with a bronze hatchet unless you don't have the level to use anything better, which is what the toolbelt restricts you to unless carrying a better alternative.

Preventing others from succeeding
I thought you couldn't veng/deflect dmg back to things you don't have the level to kill. Pretty sure that it was, and was rather successful considering he posted a rant topic about it.

Stay Safe: A Guide to Account Security
None of our staff members are trying to steal/recover accounts. However, our database was compromised in October and that's likely how this person received your e-mail. You can read this news post for more information. It's possible to have your e-mail visible in your tip.it profile as well iirc. Yes it is :) dartagnan said his was private though so it couldn't have been gotten off his profile. Unless he set his email as his MSN contact information. Many advertisers scrape what info they can and just phish whatever they can.

The Great Brain Robbery
It might have changed when they altered combat levels of some things last week. I know they changed the level 69 guy to level 96 in one of the Fremenikk quests, and the patch notes this week indicated they changed the level in the quest overview a week later. If that's the case, then he likely would have faced the same amount of difficulty and chance of dying considering they didn't change stats, just level, so that's a bit of misinformation in the topic title :P

Anti-aliasing vs bloom
It was my understanding that they were still "working on" bloom and that it had some bugs with DirectX mode. I'll try to find the forum topic. EDIT: It seems you've already found the topic :P
