  1. Did you have to get it replaced at a dealer or something? Most shops around here let us buy it at retail cost and then we just install them ourselves.
  2. Would you rather I locked your duplicate anyway and not copied over Lioness' bad formatting? :P It's fine as it is haha.
  3. Merged threads. Boo Lioness you beat me on Tip.it :(
  4. if he were smart enough to escape, he wouldn't have been caught that easily to begin with One of the many reasons why I believe Sliske made a temporary alliance with the dragonkin to take down the false users. He could benefit in any number of ways from such a pact so it's easy to imagine he'd do it.
  5. They can easily especially when you buy some of the higher rated ones
  6. It's a Linkin Park track in 2014 what did you expect? They jumped the shark with Minutes to Midnight and never looked back.
  7. This is not a fair statement at all. They have some brilliant artists and modelers. A lot of stuff they make is pretty visually awesome. More than that, though, is they're caught between a very strange in-between realm of so many different older styles that constantly clash with their new direction. Some things end up going a bit too far, or the vision that the directors have in mind is not one the player can ever see so it doesn't look right to us. There's a lot of reasons. Tons of room to speculate on "why." But one thing you can't say at all is that they're bad artists. They're a very talented bunch no matter how satisfied the players are with the content produced.
  8. You had me so excited that someone was going to play D&D... <3 Looking forward to seeing your blog updates.
  9. Okay, I have absolutely no luck with this and it's driving me nuts. I'm looking for a Bulbasaur OR Ivysaur OR Venusaur. It can be a complete piece of garbage, I don't care. I just want it for dex completion. I've had an offer of a Charmander in for a Bulbasaur at the GTS for over a week now with no luck. If any of you have one you're willing to trade, let me know and mention what you want in exchange. I have pokemon x.
  10. We also knew for a fact that One of a Kind was supposed to be out this week until they delayed it last minute. I think for the foreseeable future maybe we shouldn't be expecting these quests to have set-in-stone release dates.
  11. Yeah but what about the 10/4 buy limit on soups? They increased the buy limit on soups ages ago. It's 100/4 now.
  12. I hope that with the ribbon customization comes the same slimmed down sort of functions they edited the backpack pane to have. I can't make that ribbon fit in ANYWHERE half as well as I can everything else, damn it. The second biggest culprit of icky layouts are the ability bar, but at least that has an excuse. >_>' So Zaros' return will be unique to each player and not a global result? Interesting to see how this will affect future quest development. I would be shocked if that's the case. Imagine how much of a nightmare that would be to work around. It'll probably end up being something like trying to withhold the Wand of Life from Saradomin and in the end you can only really choose who gets it instead of keeping it. Zaros' return is too influential to the world at large to let it be an individual's choice.
  13. I remember seeing those videos! They're who I had in mind mostly when mentioning that there were players who requested it in the past.
  14. That's exactly what I mean. In comparison to how long Castlewars has been used for things other than its intended purpose, it's a fairly recent development. Which is why blaming it on the metagame is stupid. Then you might not be fully aware of how community interaction drove the minigame itself over the years. Once themed worlds - and jumping to the future: instanced lobbies - started pushing people all together combined with at the time no other safe PVP alternatives, later to change into undesirable pvp alternatives since it would be more worthwhile to do CW if ever chosen to go for trimmed comp, Castlewars never stood a chance of actually being played the way it was intended.
  15. Castlewars was dying long before metagaming even became well known. It was dying while people used it as a place to kill others and go barrage crazy with no risk. The fact that other safe pvp zones came up afterwards did nothing to stop what was already in motion, because then there was another reason to use castlewars for something other than what was intended - idling for comp reqs. Pinning its decline to the relatively new phenomenon of metagame makes no sense and is pretty much flat-out ignorance of how Castlewars ha changed over the years.
  16. What. But how does that...I mean you really just...That doesn't...DAJSGIGERHTIRGHJTUGQWHTUBGEWN TJGTkWR Honestly I understand why they can't do a graphical rework of ALL the monkies in the game at once. It's the same sort of thing with how the Dwarven storyline went. But WHY poll it? The only reason why I could even think this would be a poll option is if there's a large graphical rework batch to be voted on later on in the year and they need to pad it with unlikely choices, but even still why. '-'
  17. Since Dungeoneering's release, there has been a relatively small amount of players asking if the skill cap will ever be increased to 120. It was a natural question, since no skill prior to Dungeoneering ever had that kind of content past 99. Those who were around that time (and read the topic predicting the skill's release on Tip.it!) understand why this happened, though. They basically recycled an entire short game and put it into RuneScape. It made sense then, to see DG at 120. Quite recently though there was a big push for a redesign of all the skill capes due to some inspired art by Valhelsing2 on deviantArt. It was posted on Reddit, circulated around social-media, and whet the whistles of all those calling for a redesign of the skill capes since EoC changed a lot about the aesthetics and animation of capes in general. And then when the recent remark by Mod Osbourne popped up during the Gameblast 24 Hr Livestream, a brief moment that discussed Master Skillcapes. Were there other artists who designed mastery skill capes? More than likely, yeah. But for example, Valhelsing2's artwork was for redesigning, not an entirely new set of capes. Certainly not the most outdated content, but definitely one of the bigger eyesores due to the popularity and prestige a 99 skill cape holds. Mastery of other skills as they stand now sits firmly at 99, since that's largely where the content for those skills end. Dungeoneering did not fit that bill, however. It was impossible to fit those limitations. It will always be that sore thumb sticking out that doesn't match everyone else. (In fact, that's part of the charm to the skill, as some players would say.) What I'm kinda shocked over is how quickly public opinion was so easily shifted to forget a skill cape redesign overall. It quickly became "redesign!" to "mastery capes!" overnight. Yet mastery capes don't really make sense since there's nothing to "master" past 99. But hey, I get that I'm likely in the minority here. I'm mostly shocked that they secured a "yes" vote to the mastery capes with a single few lines that pushed the positive hype of redesiging towards voting for new content. (It's hardly a secret that I think content voting is the spawn of satan, anyway. HOORAY HYPERBOLE!) I just hope if they do make master capes that they don't neglect the stiff, mastectomy-giving, 80's shoulderpad-rockin' skill capes we already have...but I have a feeling they'll be neglected. Has there been any word regarding what they intend to do (if anything) to the regular skill capes? And why is no one else baffled by how beautifully handled this entire situation was? o_O Just for you, Quyneax, I afk'd cookie clicker while posting this topic. Yay gameplay and discussing game content that has almost zero affect on RS at large! <33
  18. Just a quick note: discuss healthy gaming habits if you want, but please don't let it devolve into insulting people. That's always the pitfall of discussing gaming habits, 'cause we all know some handful of people who engage in them. It makes things become very personal very quickly, so out of the sake of common courtesy let's try to avoid that. (Hard to do when the discussion started from discussing one particular person's playing habits, I know...:/ )
  19. Approved. PM a moderator if you have any questions or concerns about the approval process.
  20. That is a change that has massive implications, should it happen. I can't even wrap my mind around it.
  21. I saw reports that BoB would auto store and auto offer at rifts supposedly on reddit, but I couldn't find the source that said that. Has anyone seen anything like that?
  22. wow how have you not done all the quests see this is why it's so easy to joke and say you're bad
  23. I only enjoy BTS videos so that I can do stuff like this.
