Look you can get upset with a particular mod's decision all you want, but the disagreements here have gone from beyond "yeah screw that" to some pretty nasty insults directed their way. They're wrong, we got the answers that we all knew were right (thanks Gemeos). Raise awareness as much as you like but that's quite enough with the insults. That goes for everyone. I don't like it when people are wrong either - especially with such high stakes - but it's clearly crossing the line here.

[hide]I thought for certain that Jinora would die to help Rava manifest once more or something. I still don't fully understand where Rava went after it was destroyed temporarily.[/hide]

It's hard not to get defensive in that way when people are questioning your fitness for your station.

I have barbies, My Little Pony figurines, beanie babies, He-Man & GI Joe action figures, and dolls packed in a dusty corner box somewhere in my house. You may very well be right. I don't assume any MLP fan is sexually attracted to the character design, but it really is a hard stereotype to overcome regardless of when they were a fan. Regardless I'm still cool with pony pets in RuneScape.

Yet wasn't the same thing confirmed via Mod Wealth and Beno? Second-hand knowledge from another thread mind you so forgive me if I'm wrong. It just sounds like typical Jagex rather than one person being ignorant. I doubt they have a unified, enforced policy on things like this. They certainly haven't for the past 5 years and I don't expect that to change. Who knows, maybe this is the period where we start to see them take a concrete stance. I remain skeptical.

wow such skill very rc much tectonic -
The new GE design has a lot of unused space, but I don't think that's a bad thing. I really like it, actually. You can tell a lot of effort went into that to make it as simple and quick as possible, and I appreciate that. The change is uncomfortable but if all I can really complain about is empty space and the bright blue colors/not as sharp contrast then that's a pretty big win.

Truthfully when I started out on Dorelei, I went straight into slayer. There aren't a lot of areas that offer better exp than anywhere else when you're just starting out...so basically it doesn't really matter what you're doing. Slayer is needed for some important quests like Smoking Kills, Desert Treasure, Royal Trouble, etc so it's worthwhile to train it early on while you're getting your stats up. The problem is money though. Gear is cheap but early-level slayer doesn't make a lot of money for you. I'd recommend hitting farming hard - do allotments and oak/apple trees alongside herb runs. The exp is ridiculously cheap (the seeds you need often buy at 1-50gp ea) and you will eventually hit the levels for herbs like ranarrs and avantoe, which will start to help you make money. You'll need to buy gear frequently as you level (every tenth level, so t30 gear then t40 and so on) so sell back your previous gear when you're done with it to save a bit of cash. If you're ever completely broke, you can make decent cash by collecting things like mort myre fungi or farming easy-level clue scrolls. Hell, even an hour of chopping oak trees will get you enough cash to buy your next set of gear. Just focus on getting to a decent att/str/def level (60's+) in effective ways, like with slayer. This sounds grindy, but slayer will provide a decent variety that will allow you to try out different combat styles (mage/range/melee) and see different places. You'll learn more about the map, how weaknesses work, etc just by reading up a few minutes on each area. It's a great way to fall in love with the game and make training actually fun. At your level, you'd use the slayer master Vannaka found in the edgeville dungeon.

While that is likely the primary cause of the lulz we're having now, there's also the niggling fact that there are a lot of people who like MLP on the staff there. So it kind of fuels the fire.

Is Mod Beno also on account investigations? Either way, it's really weird to see the stance change.

you can't remove the actual button, on the actual hotbar Oh, so if I understand you correctly, it just stops the annoying right click options on the inventory pane? If that's the case, that sounds awesome.

When my hamster had a tumor that pushed its eye out of its socket a bit, it looked like those ponies' eyes. ...'-' Odd eyes aside, they're not that bad. What's the problem that people have with them?

I would like it if they did something like this once a month. I'm quite fond of these in particular: This is just lovely. Reduces the distance you need to move your mouse and allows for quicker processing. I was not a fan of this when it was talked about in the BTS. And then, I went to cannon dark beasts on a task. Even with bonecrusher and herbicide, it was a bit hectic to track drops. And it always haunted me, thinking I might have missed a sirenic scale drop under my cannon...Now, I'm all for it. I've wanted this since the release of broadcasts. That's something I saw in other games that I didn't mind at all. Actually, I grew quite fond of it. But since playing with game messages on is a good way to lose everything in your chatbox, I never used it. This depends, does it limit the chat between those you have a trade window or assistance window open with? If so, HOLY CRAP FINALLY. I've waited so long... Hrrrngg. YAY! The Naragi homeworld isn't on Gielinor so it can't be a divination location Well there's still a chance of divine energy being there, left over from the dying gods who fought there. Harvesting it could potentially be done in the same fashion, but yeah...that's getting a bit far afield. After all, it's hard to imagine a planet renown for its diviners would leave any tool untouched in their attempts to survive. And then there's the question of whether or not that divine energy could be used for restoration of the Anima Mundi on Gielinor following the inventor skill consuming more energy than would be restored to the planet, etc.

Well I forget who it was, but they deserve a lot of credit for guessing the twist. I wonder when we'll get any information on book 3.

Jagex refunds Spins from Fallen Star debacle
Kimberly replied to TheLad1's topic in General Discussion
Nope, but I received a handful of fallen stars of divination and thought it weird that my bonus exp ran out so quickly. Then again I didn't buy my spins so I guess it's not that important. :P -
Grats man :)
