  1. This reminds me a lot of Temple Trekking/Burg De Rott Ramble. Great concept...iffy implementation. That said I still like the idea of getting some of those spells, they're magnificent. It's just going to be a long...loooong road to it though.
  2. If you think through the initial desire of simply wanting an answer, you can see that to address your example is impossible to do so in a public way. There's no way for any staff member to comment on the situation because it directly pertains to an incident that involved you and punishments dealt to you. That's probably why Tripsis said to talk about such a thing in private, probably like PM'ing the moderator/admin who banned you in the first place or pming an admin directly. But stamping your feet like a petulant child in a crowded store demanding answers just to make mommy and daddy seem like the bad guys to everyone else probably isn't going to help you if you take such an approach when you DO contact a staff member.
  3. Poppycock. People have been warned/banned before for admitting to breaking Jagex rules. Your scenario is based on a flawed assumption.
  4. Everyone makes mistakes and even if they're not 'classified' as a troll it doesn't mean they can't say things that break the rules.
  5. You didn't read it carefully enough then because it says to read about all the updates for DG'ing in the patch notes + changes to the prestige system in the KB. >_>
  6. Didn't they do that? That was supposed to be one of the updates, to make it so solo'ing and group dg'ing were equally efficient.
  7. Great way of thinking about it. I personally don't mind at all about the drops things as I said earlier, just means lower prices for the masses. The only ones that lose money are those who already had everything. Bugs that don't have any negative effects shouldn't be rolled back, I agree with that mentality....however, that's not what happened here. Sheer panic alone will screw with the value of these items for months, let alone the minimal supply that came in today. It's going to take months for them to stabilize....OR they could do a rollback. Clearly, though, they don't care if we wait. Aren't they nice.
  8. When will jagex realize these colored messages are hard to see? Go settings > resizavle. TADA readable. You shouldn't have to play on a different mode to be able to see that stuff. It's bad design practices.
  9. I love it when there's a lack of communication between Jagex moderators. I love it even more when they make decisions like these.
  10. Where are you seeing that? Welovecorp cc had a jagex mod enter in it and tell us all that a rollback was coming in 20min. Yeah, I know, no pic no proof. Haters gonna hate. EDIT: OKay well now there's screens of Mod Mark saying there's not going to be a rollback. So... I have no idea what's going on. It's like the Fighting Climbing Boots update with the Corp pking update all rolled into one abortion of a catastrophe.
  11. Rollback in 20 minutes. What a catastrophe.
  12. yeah i don't get it, they could always just sell books and t shirts to make more money(even though they make mass amounts) hey wait... Sorry, but if Hasbro is backing you, you don't NEED to sell anything additional. And christ if there are people stupid enough to buy RS merchandise and it's helping Jagex keep RuneScape going, does it even matter? It's not like you have to buy them to get ahead in the game. You've got a weird thought process that doesn't make sense to anyone but yourself, don'cha?
  13. So, wait, they're taking people who work on runescape and assigning them to this? I was under the impression they brought in new-hires and kept the teams seperate and equally strong. Would they really take on this and shoot themselves in the foot with their other, current, known-moneymakers? I don't really think so.
  14. TET could definitely make use this, and clan staff could use it to create awards for their activities as well. This is an awesome idea. Pleaaaaaaaaaaase do it.
  15. ...what? The clan staff still actively update the Tip.it War Rankings. They always have. They bust their ass on tedious and convoluted number crunching for it on a weekly (if not daily) basis. I'm not really sure you know what you're talking about and considering this is the first I'm I've ever seen you post like...ever, I don't think you've got the knowledge of the community to make any sort of judgment like that.
  16. Tipit had low activity when the last tournament was held; even still, many clans signed up. Nearly half of them were from 'outside' the tipit community, like Corr and The Rising (at the time.) I have every ounce of faith that it will be just as riveting as last time. Everyone loves a tourney. Just...hopefully not so soon to the closing of CJ's tourney.
  17. If it doesn't include Beast Wars it's dead to me.
  18. I think it might be fine. I was having the same problem, so I went into settings and switched it to "Show me all the content I haven't read" and now it works properly. Something like this happened before and I think that's what either Peter or ... I dunno, someone else, told me to do. I already had it on that setting :P But it is fixed now :) It was the changing of it that triggered it, not specifically the setting. Or maybe I'm full of hogwash. Hogwash is an interesting word.

  20. Kimberly replied to zulu's topic in Clan Discussions
It might push more activity to the conclave while presenting a 'healthier looking' public forum. There really isn't much to talk about these days since Tip.it lies mostly outside of the clan drama [cabbage] of the top 20, let alone the top 10. I don't know. I see that the suggestion has merit, especially since there's a suggestion in the works to make the Wars and Run-ins forum RSS feed accessable, but I personally don't like the idea.
  21. One activity still has strict division in most western culture and one does not. It makes no sense to compare the two. Disagree. Males wearing makeup has become much more prevalent in western society. (Not that I would choose to  ) http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18062886/ns/health-forbescom/ 52% is still a far cry from acceptable, but I see your point. The comparison isn't as poor as I originally thought.

  23. I think they'd rather stick to BxpW from now on... Probably. It's less effort to implement. But it's vastly unfair to a large portion of players, again, because of it being set on a fixed few day period. People have hectic lives and can't dedicate a set portion of days to a game. Letting people play when they want and still reaping the same average amount of rewards that one would normally collect is fair. But life isn't fair and most things are just dreams. Ah well...
  24. I would rather give people a small 10 point or 20 point flat bonus if they were proven to be on the battlefield killing non-participants. When you get into the realm of trying to determine things like quality, it becomes too ambiguous and impossible to judge. One screenshot could be portrayed as being lousy, another as fantastic...
