New Dr. Who announced
Ugh, old topics. But with the new season starting up and Matt Smith's confidence in the role growing (which he's doing wonderfully in I think) I think it's fair to bump it. This season was filmed in the states, primarily in Utah. It's kind of funny, because that's where the new season of Torchwood: Miracle Day is going to be partially filmed. I kind of hoped that meant another convergence soon. On a side note though... Bit of sad news: http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/dw/news/bulletin_110419_01/Elisabeth_Sladen Read more at the link given above.

Meet one of Jagex's new owners
I certainly hope they didn't. Now I'm scrambling the internet to find out.

Meet one of Jagex's new owners
I didn't say they would be a rousing success. The barbie dvds aren't phenomenal, yet everyone seems to know of them regardless if they like it or not. And they're popular amongst children, enough to make good business sense to keep releasing new movies. Does that not indicate an increase in exposure? The Gower brothers are still majority shareholders and they won't let their game tank for the sake of a few movies. If it does go through as a straight-to-dvd release, I can't imagine it hurting the company.

Meet one of Jagex's new owners
Misleading topic titles makes growing boys stunted and forever alone. All a movie means is more exposure and possibly more lifelong players. That's not a bad thing.

Leveling Dungeoneering
Oh I just reread the guidelines and it seems that was in regards to third binds. My bad, I really goofed there. It doesn't apply yet to the TC. :$!

Leveling Dungeoneering
If he plans on joining DGS is binding a plate wise? I thought only keyers could bind plates and the rest were requested to get offensive binds.

Dungeonsweepers (DGS) - Huge changes; read first post.
Just some feedback from a person on the outside: I was reading your guidelines and although they're well written, it seems like they're a bit...out of order? By this I don't mean things are missing, it just would've helped my comprehension if things like chat rules and what the clan chat was about were together, and level reqs and bind reqs grouped together. I don't know if they're purposely split up like that to encourage people to read the entire guidelines though...so if they are, then nevermind <_< I'm a bit off of what I need on my binds/ring levels before I can properly join so hopefully I'll have a chance get them soon. My dg'ing has essentially grinded to a halt since I lost my last team.

19-Apr-2011 - Items Kept on Death Changes
No one mentioned the Club 99 newspost. I can't imagine this going well. If the mentors are picked like the forum moderators are....god help the people seeking advice. I'll stay on tip.it thankyouverymuch.

E3 2011
Wait so they're actually going to release KH3 finally? I had thought they'd given up on it. You're joking, right? Yeah, sure, maybe if they released it years ago. But the Wii2 is nothing revolutionary and just Nintendo's plea for more money. All the popular games will be released on both consoles (Think twilight princess and the Gamecube) and it will be completely....underwhelming as far as technology is concerned. And really they spent their remake-old-games coin (most of which were flops, Donky Kong Returns was horrible along with Epic Mickey) in addition to already releasing the 3DS so I really don't know what games they're going to even showcase. Nintendo 'stealing the show' is a far cry from believable. Maybe they can show Skyward Sword and have the motion controls mess up again!

15-Apr-2011 - Guaranteed Content Poll: Boss Rematch?
Again, same thing that happened with the last poll. Kamil is lvl 150ish. He will probably be in the next poll. This poll's max level seems to be 110. It's funny that you mention the Culinaromancer and its continuity but you forget how they implemented mock versions of the bosses in that quest. We don't know how we're facing these bosses. They could very well be spoof forms, like the food based versions in Recipe for Disaster.

I personally think that the Clan Camp was a solid update and you're jumping on a very old bandwagon that's falling apart. It did exactly what it was meant to do, bringing clans into a cohesive and standardised system. It saves everyone who want to make a clan a lot of time. I'm not jumping on. I've been on this bandwagon. Hell I helped build it. There's a difference between not liking an update because it doesn't suit your playing style and being intentionally ignorant of what aid it gives to the players it was created for, because I'm sure that the merits for clan users (from a clan user's point of view) were expressed to you in the previous update thread.

New drop from Cave Crawler
You could take the direct link to the image (the option is usually offered to you after you upload) and wrap them in img tags, like this: [img=http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee438/Lorenzzje/Rs.jpg] And it would show up like this:

I disagree with the author's ideas that clans will be more long-lived because of this update in the second article. The tools provided by Jagex are a wonderful thing, but it is not something that we (as clan users) didn't have access to before. They're simply consolidated all in one place now, which makes it easier for clans to be created but has very little impact on longevity. There were plenty of ranking wars on off-site hosting, and it still did little for clan life--in fact you could argue that being ranked and drawing attention decreases stability if you're not prepared for the surge of growth. Suggesting otherwise sort of made it hard to take the author seriously. (Though I'll give him credit for trying.) I think this article would've served better as purely an informative one considering the circumstance. Congratulations on making the times, though, Crocefisso. What clans were you in that made you interested on writing about the Clan Camp? I'm curious on where your experiences stem from. EDIT: Tidied up my post a bit, didn't mean to come across as rude!

Is anyone else just completely disappointed with everyone?
Try more like 3 times a week. Damn near every blog post and dev update gets its own topic.

Is anyone else just completely disappointed with everyone?
lol I agree and admit that I've grown a little tired of every update on the runescape.com website craving its own topic here   I would've always liked it if recent updates were discussed in Runescape News. Having a topic there and a topic here has always seemed redundant to me and, as you and Obt pointed out, cluttering.

Banning the burqa
Yet we converse and construct hierarchies on the internet and interact without seeing someone's face, or hell without even truly knowing them, without issue.

How do you define 'simple bullying?' From what I've seen with other cases, it's consistent that bullies try to emotionally or physically harm a person. I see more bullies causing emotional harm/taunting than physical (or both at the same time.) In my mind, one is far worse than the other.

It seems poorly reasoned to advocate force because someone wasn't there to help you. If anything, I would've imagined it'd make you more of an advocate for getting programs and people in to prevent this. As I said before, I don't condemn someone who finally snaps...but I'm not going to go saying that it's the right way to handle problems. You were attacked, and you defended yourself. That's different than what most people go through, and what you're explaining is far worse than simple bullying. Apples and oranges.

So is it a child's job to teach a bully 'consequences' with their fists? When a parent tells a child to stand up for themselves by fighting, do they really understand what they're sanctioning, what they're sending their child into? Will they really learn the value of self-confidence if they come out of a fight with a broken nose, broken bones, concussions, or anything of the sort? And if they lose that fight? Tell me, who was hurt more then, the bully or the victim?
