Yes it's confirmed that there is no skill currently in development(Well, it was the case at Runefest at least). By now, it's just a discussion going on about possible new skills or changes to existing ones.

Well, some argue that it does, seeing that this happened right before the referendum, some people do, but I'm not convinced tbh. It's possible that the marketing schemes that have been happening is due to this, but anything else I believe is still in the hands of Jagex themselves.

They got rid of that? That was actually one of the very few things I missed when moving to Chrome. :( It still does that for me, although that going straight to the page has only rarely worked for me anyway :/

The only similar thing I'm reading is a webcomic with a continuous storyline, Questionable Content. I like it quite a lot :P

Ummm...well I'm not an expert so don't quote me on this, but it sounds more like your graphics card cannot deal with the monitor correctly? If the monitor worked properly before(at another computer) but now doesn't sound like the monitor adjustments are off. Of course, I haven't seen it myself, so this might just be me getting the wrong picture from your error description.

How do you know it's within the rules though? Has this explicitely been confirmed by a Jmod? Granted, I haven't tried this programme, so I'm not experienced with it, but as far as I understand, it can, as an example move your mouse directly to a new monster once the old one is dead? That's an input you're not generating yourself, sounds to me like it would be illegal. The fact that it's free doesn't necessarily mean it's okay. There are/were? several free bots as well...

And this fortress *was* Zarosian...why else would we get an ancient tele to Edgeville?

Mod Ana said that at Runefest. Since I was at that session, I can confirm it ;) Don't be too hopeful though - it's really only some lore that she'll reveal, but it won't be an advancement of the Zaros storyline that's happening now(At least as far as I've understood it)

Well, the problem I saw with the original was that simply enormously big clans get rewarded and the rest gets left out. I think this one is a bit fairer, although I would have preferred the whole thing based on the efficiency - so if you get t7 within an amount of weeks/number of clan members, you should get a special vexillum. But I guess that's too much work to implement.

I must have missed the part in any of the news articles that said the stats or special effects of Barrows armour were going to be updated...oh wait. You certainly did. They didn't even put it in any of the articles. Certainly hard to find it when it doesn't exist. Dw, happens to the best of us. I see what you did there. Anyways, I'm pretty sure the chance of a barrows item is something like 1/22 chest loots. Whenever I go on a dry streak I end up getting like 3-4 items almost in a row. I always thought and read 1/13 chests with 6 brothers, I assume with 7 this may even increase to 1/11.5. No, killing 6 or 7 brothers gives the same chance of items, which is why many people choose to not kill Torag since his set is worth the least. And yes, I agree with the 1/13 rate. EDIT: Since the update, I've had Karil's coif, Guthan's helm and plate and Akrisae's mace. I think that's after about 55-60 chests or so. 1/13?? I've done maybe 100 chests(Not today) and got only one barrows piece worth raound 500k at that moment -.-

If this happens, I will work my ass off to get 91 FM. that would really be awesome :o

Yeah I can't say that the barrows armour looks better...more detailed yes, but the green colour really doesn't fit, and the design isn't really all that great. Surprising really, since the graphics department usually does a great job. I find ahrim's especially ridiculous. Have you loocked at that hood? Looks like someone put a sack over your head >.> You can't even see anything!

Well, I've been following the presidential race somewhat closely, considering I don't live in the US. I've got a few impressions about most of the candidates, and can say I'm quite happy about Bachmann being out of the race :P I've feared the Tea party would be gaining more influence and might be putting up the presidential candidate. Ron Paul and Mitt Romney both seem decent to me. Not exactly what I would want as a president, but okay I guess. Don't know much about Rick Santorum though.

I'm kinda disappointed that they dropped it as well...while it was a long way to train for me, it would have been kinda motivating. Oh well, maybe I'll get 91 anyway, at least magic logs will be cheaper now ;)

They said the quest would unlock new 90+ firemaking methods and some cosmetic reasons to train. Also, they've tried to make the skill handy in the past with shade burning, pyre logs, and cave lighting. Not much, but they have had a go. The problem is that with firemaking, it was pretty useless from the start. A lot of the skills now considered useless to train now(e.g smithing) had tons of use in that past. Firemaking had only one single use that you didn't need a particular high level for, and even that was relatively quickly removed with stoves. They practically would have to rewrite the whole skill to make it useful.

It's not meant to be true at all, alg only used some references to real updates here and there.

I dunno, there are a lot of graphical updates this month... :shock: That's why I found it more weird than entertaining I think. It wasn't true, but then it wasn't completely NOT true either.
