True Ownage v Latvian Archers ___________________ Warria set out and got a war with LA, hoping they'd give us a stern challenge. The rules were as follows: Matched Opts, CWA Classic | Center Bounds, All styles allowed, Corrupt Items not allowed, Dungeoneering Items not allowed, Rings allowed, Date negotiated: Saturday 28th August, Time negotiated: 1PM EST. ___________________ It was slightly early for us, and we managed to pull a convincing 26. LA, unfortunately were only unable to pull 16 so we dropped 10 and attacked. True Ownage Starting: 26 (dropped to 16) Latvian Archers Starting: 16 ___________________ LA began with a pile on iJ4 who tanked us a lead doing really well. Datakins then ripped LA's pile to shreds with his tank; giving us a comfortable lead before he tanked them off. LA gave up with Data, and got on Ljudfadern and Minnie 129 who both did very well also in combination with fantastic transitions from Warria06. We ended very well yet again, with a 14-0 score. I think one of the most respected clans here would have be 'THE' Clan alongside with RKoF & CE. CR don't post war aftermaths here (unless a member copies it from RSC) and are nowhere near active on TWR; so on Tip.It I wouldn't count them, however in the Clan World in general they could clearly be contenders alongside RSD.

The agreed rules were as folows: Matched Opts, CWA Classic | Center Bounds, Melee and Binds allowed only, Offensive Magic and Ranged not allowed, Corrupt Items not allowed, Dungeoneering Items not allowed, Rings allowed, Date negotiated: Friday 27th August, Time negotiated: 4PM EST. ___________________ Both clans managed to pull 25 which was encouraging as neither had to drop! True Ownage Starting: 25 Wilderness Guardians Starting: 25 ___________________ We started off and after a bit of confusion over who attacks, we agreed over IRC that it would be Attack on Sight. However, just to be safe we waited for WG to rush and both first piles tanked reasonably well, dropping at the same(ish) time. However Zq50 tanked us a 2 man lead, which followed up with some flawless binding, spamming and sniping. We also dropped our piles fast after some good calling, by surprisingly; me! We strolled into a 21-13 lead before we knew it after some more good tanking by Pete n00b and Loving, and gained a well-earned victory, ending fantasically with the score being 20-0. Downfall don't call us because they're not obsessed for a win topic. You're making your clan look so horrible on these forums. Please can you just give it a rest, accept you lost a CWA fight and leave this obsession alone? You do realize that if I was really so obsessed I would have made an actual fight recap topic correct? It's not so much what can Jagex do, it's what we could do too. We're the ones who set high requirements and expect a lot from our members. Even if Jagex did things for us, it wouldn't be the same and most likely not good enough although I'd love to see them try harder. I'd personally love Jagex to implement a Wilderness map into the CWA portal, so clans who have small PVP experience like my own can get better without the risk of losing items and such which makes it more fun. Returning in a real PKRI is something that can already be practiced. By doing this also, some members in RSB clans may like the surroundings and look to PK in the real Wilderness, giving our Clan World more competition and more PK opportunities. Also the RSB clan members would realise how good we are in comparison to them in a PKRI.

Rune hungry. Obsessive. These are now the words that come to mind when I see a Gladz victory topic over Downfall.

Well take it from a person who isnt that big of a fan of CWA.. and is still in Downfall - I wouldn't go as far as labeling us as a strictly CWA clan. We do PvP and we do have PvP wars.. and from what I've noticed, the biggest challenge has been finding appropriate clans to war in PvP... Solace, CR, BK, Runescape Elites, Collision, Gladz, The Rising, Poison, 'THE', The Moon Clan, and Ascension could all be potential good fights for Downfall in the PvP arena. I'm looking forward to seeing those fights in the future. :thumbup: I'd like to see you war some of these clans.

Not anything to do with us being "special", i think it may be because we don't claim we do PvP, we are a CWA based clan, and have never said otherwise.. It may also be because we have tried PvP a couple of times, but our members haven't liked it, so like i said in my earlier post, why force people to do something they don't like? Than why is it whenever we declare a war Rizzle or Abkb come in : Step in pvp or scared?. I never see them doing that at T0 topics. @ Your Question ; simply dont. but your clan isnt guaranteed from being troll-free. Maybe they don't like your clan? I'm pretty sure DF have beaten every clan TK managed to beat in the wilderness, and considering TK had to close and reopen as a PVP clan you shouldn't really be telling them to PVP mate. They have some Quality wins over good clans and i think they can make a push and possibly compete for top 15-20 in the future if they keep up the pulls and go out abit more often. It is, in fact. There is a clothing set that looks a good bit like full rune and a skirt. Great camouflage. In terms of stats and bonuses it's not really. And Blue Runecrafting robes act as a good enough disguise in a CWA high opts war as long as you have a rune weapon/helm and shield equipped. In PVP however, you could be right, and it's worth experimenting.

We performed bad, thanks for the fight DF. Predicted your pile like 2450252 times, ended up tanking with small food and I thought I did rather well. 1 death and about 8 kills I think. Good fight DF, would love to do it again.

You have a point, but they won't reach the level that clans on fansites like RSC and Tip.It reach. Eventually these clans will find out how their own forums and everything is better for them and most of the RSB clans already know that the top clans are here on Tip.It/RSC, particularly RSC, so good Leaders would set their sights to reach our level. But yes Jagex has killed and retired clans and their members, but not completely.

Respect for the effort you put in Juniors, it was really good. Shoutout to Datakins who I saw tank like 8 kills. Why can't MMA pull more like that to PKRI's against TKO... Congrats on the win CR, although I think anything over 5/6 hours is overkill.

Legendz: Joining TWR; made us way more organised fighting better clans, myself becoming Leader; promoted the right people rather than people who'd been in the clan the longest which in the long run benefited the clan, Infinitone; whenever he'd be on we'd have so much more buzz and hype in a war, Tyler; joined the clan and due to his connections with Infinitone and claiming to be an ex-CR PK Leader got automatic Warlord (which was taken from a very good Warlord) which I and a lot of the staff disagreed with - and which sparked as the catalyst in me leaving and a lot of people leaving (they didn't like him). And of course myself leaving; led to my friends sticking behind me and agreeing with my decisions, and joined T0 (was about 25 or so of them). True Ownage: We haven't really undergone drastic changes as of yet, but in my opinion I'd say: Downie Owners; forming an alliance with a superb clan like Downfall has taught us many things and continues to till this day - first aspects of clan pking within T0 came from D0 PK trips, First Ranks Given out; when we first opened we decided to only have 2 Leaders, a Co-Leader, a Warlord and some Council members - but after we gave the right people some more responsibility the clan flourished, Rivalry with DV; gave us fire and determination to be better than them - a lot of us from Legendz knew them as they merged into Legendz but reformed trying to recruit our members, Promotions again; except for our slightly cursed Warlord position we have had stable ranks for a long time now which has benefited us in so many ways. We've got a large future ahead of us and changes are imminent really, so it'll be funny looking at this topic in a year time and seeing how far we've come (yet again).

Sorry for the double post, but exactly my point. No-one could reply, but why can't anyone reply? Is it because you truely fear for your clan's safety if you kick a DDoSer? Then what? Don't be scared that someone can take down your audio, or your forums. It can be protected against. Don't be scared to take action if needed because, if you don't then this problem will never go away and the threat of DDoSing and any other nh things will just become more and more apparant. It's such a shame that people won't kick these people from their clan, or take action at least. So in answer to your first question, the reasons above are why it's happening now, and why it'll happen in the future too.
