There's a reason I'm an atheist. My point is that arguing logic with a theist is backwards because the concept of God is based on faith, not logic.

People who argue against God have misunderstood the preliminary concept: God transcends logic. Human minds are simply incapable of comprehending him, and that is where the contradictions arise. They are mistakes of the human mind, not of God.

1/1/11. Got out of bed around 6PM and realized I had a paper to write for Monday. And so, the new year starts just as the old ended: With me whining on the internet.

Medieval is fun, but I've found it's more laggy than the other modes. The new weapons are pretty much what should be expected: side-grades. Loch 'n' Load isn't that great, I've heard, but most of the weapons really just depend on your playstyle. Now that I think of it, I don't have any of the new weapons in my normal loadout. BTW, you guys with paints should stop by the Steam forums every so often. When I looked, there was a recurring offer looking for the Distinctive Lack of Hue for 2 Reclaimed.

In order to truly determine the potential danger, we would need to see those pics ;) Seriously, though, it would be idiotic. Not only is it illegal to post the pictures without her consent, but he would face CP distribution charges for those in which she's 17 and probably charges for distribution of pornography to minors if he has 17-year-old friends on Facebook. Getting involved on the wrong side of the law is stupid. Even if he could get away with it, the potential effects are life-changing. As an adult, his public criminal record (the one employers etc. have access to) would say "distribution of child pornography". If he really thinks it's worth the risk, let natural selection do its thing.

When it comes to houses, we might need a bigger allowance than just a million. I would probably build my own house (work with an architect to design it, that is) in or near my current location.

If people are really so in control of their urges that it's a non issue, why don't we have men and women showering together? Barney Frank's reasoning isn't that clever, the reporter just couldn't think of anything to say. Doesn't make the former right. The thing is you know when you're showering with someone of the opposite sex, whereas you don't know when you're showering with a gay person of the same sex. Yet if you think about it, would not those signs be there? I mean, I wouldn't want to shower with women (well i'd rather not shower with anyone tbh) because I'd think it would be pretty obvious there's an attraction there... Right. All women are attracted to you, just like all gay guys are attracted to you. It's a scary world out there.

I have a five-year-old iPod Classic (from when they were called "iPod Video") which has literally five minutes of battery life. I never use it. My computer works much better for music. I wear Asics. Mine are similar to these, but less white. They're quite comfortable and great for running in. I buy a new pair every year for track. They could probably last longer, but not much longer.

I'm feeling strange - it's probably something to do with actually getting decent amounts of sleep over the past few nights. I've got an eight hour drive in a stuffy car with a family of five tomorrow, and then a few nights in upstate New York, where we'll probably be snowed in the entire time, if we even get there. If I don't post something cynical in the inevitable "New Years Resolution's" thread, I've died in a horrible car accident/ been hospitalized with food poisoning. Or suffocated from extended time in the thin, stale air of an old folks' home.

My first pm ended with the guy saying "stop posting, your offers suck" (to a reasonable trade offer), my first thread was trolled for no reason, and my most recent pm (offering to trade an item to a guy who had requested it) was replied to with only "cool story bro".

What happened to that thread with the South American guy with no computer? It just disappeared overnight/morning (while I was sleeping). I guess it happens like that in those third world countries. Anyways, today it's snowing, and it will be tomorrow too with a bit of luck. I have to go meet some British relatives, then not go on my trip to see relatives in New York tomorrow because of the snow.
