Excellent analogy . If you compare FoG to Halo again, there's another similarity. In Halo, it is very easy to kill a camper, though they can also be incredibly damaging at the same time; whereas the typical run 'n' gun players have a bit of a balance between difficulty to kill and potency of killing. Same with FoG. Although runners may seem cheap and difficult to beat, they're easy to counter(bind spells, ice spells). And once you do catch them, they're easy to kill(they also stay away from the fist, meaning they get much less charges). Tanks on the other hand, seem to always get between 1k-2k charges, while runners may vary from 500-5k. It just depends on luck and skill.

The Hot springs from the quest 'A Last Resort' increases my HP by 12, that could be an alternative? Well yea, but when you get DDS spec'd 40-40 twice in a row, your +12 is useless. I support having PvP damage reduced (just PvP, not monster damage). So you'd be able to hit 80's with Dharok's on monsters but only 50's on people. Seems like an easy solution to me, but there are probably flaws.

KBD and Mole are reasonable. Kalphite Queen, however, should not be F2P. She is located in past the Shantay Pass, which is members only, and frankly, she is just too difficult to fight with only full rune/green d'hide with a maple shortbow. Oh yea, not to mention no prayer potions or attack potions. The bad news is that the dragon med will sky-rocket, while the corrupt dragon med will sink down to high-alch price. There's a lot to consider here, but I support it.

I think Elvarg was supposed to be the F2P "boss" monster. When players get 60-80 CB is when they get members(usually) so Jagex wants to tempt them more into getting members than hunt some powerful beast in F2P.

I think that RCing is fine as it is. At higher levels, it is a potential gold mine waiting to burst. At least make it difficult to get there. Besides, runecrafting in GOP gives double exp, as do RCing gloves.

Well of course you can't have something thats nonmembers only. My main problems with F2P are Smithing and Prayer. These take a ridiculous amount of money(which isn't that easy to make) to level these up. Oh, and killing Moss Giants for Prayer exp? Well it takes an average lvl 100 player 10 seconds to kill a Moss Giant. Not factoring respawn times, other players training, or other distractions, that's a measly 5.4K/hour. Smithing bars is profitable, but honestly, 10K/hour is pretty nasty exp. 5,400 prayer exp per hour = 360 moss giants per hour = 86,400 combat exp per hour 86,400 combat exp per hour is not possible in f2p. I'm not sure about moss giants, but I think around 30,000 combat exp per hour is much more reasonable. 30,000 combat exp per hour = 125 moss giant per hour = 1,875 prayer exp per hour Well then, this just proves my point even further...prayer sucks in F2P They already made updates that separate F2P and P2P items.
