There is an AoW guide with the exact answers to your question. I suggest you take thirty seconds and look for it, in fact, in the time it took for you to post, you probably could have found it had you wanted to. Hint: There is only one AoW farming guide.

No thanks, I'll trust my experience in this luck based game. I'll leave the calcs to the big names around here. That link was the Grimy Bunyip's DPS calculator. What more of a big name do you want? Really though, this just shows your ignorance and stubbornness. You might as well not have a speedometer on the car. Who trusts numbers right? I mean as long as you have a general sense of how fast you're going that's what's important right? /sarcasm/ If that is the way you look at life, I feel very, very sorry for you my friend. As for this being a luck based game, that can be used to justify anything. In theory I could go to AZS for the first time and hit 0's for an hour out of hugely bad luck. My experience would tell me that the spot was bad exp. However, my experiences would be false and it in fact would be great exp. I'm curious, what about your experience do you base this off of? Have you done tests with different weapons versus different monsters? Or is this just another "herp derp GS hits big so it's good" argument?

To anyone supporting the Godswords.... I suggest you learn how to use this before arguing about DPS. Really, the numbers don't lie, but experiences do. It's a very simple fact. It's why scientists use instruments to measure things rather then just guess based on their experiences. Really, doing DPS calculations is stupidly easy. If you choose to ignore them then you're simply ignorant.

Clearly retired, the whole point is that the game has been disproportionately laggy as of late. haha, oh well. you could log on to any given computer at any time of day on any given server and the game will still lag whenever it seems fit ;) *puffs pipe and rocks chair* dis·pro·por·tion·ate/ˌdisprəˈpôrSHəˌnāt/ Adjective: Too large or too small in comparison with something else. Therefor this thread is about how lately the lag has been disproportional to how it usually is. Reading, learn it.

It's better to save up the 120m. It takes money to make money, if you spend all of your money how will you be able to flip for more?

I love it, it's what's causing this Torva panic that I'm profiting from so much.

Dragon scim is probably better I bet dragon dagger is better.

The main cost isn't the robes degrading, it's the runes. For me I know ahrims is more cost effective if you have a higher income. However I enjoy the breaks to play a little FoG to recharge them and it isn't a problem for me, it's more fun then the idea of grinding my best moneymaker for runes. Also, Ahrims is more expensive. Battle robes are buyable for max in the GE if you leave your offer in for a week or so, you don't really need to pay street for them. I use Veracs because it's handy and I have it on hand. With battle robes it is especially important to lure in other gear as not to degrade them. If you were to use Ahrims then you could swap to prossy or even monk robes, it doesn't make much a difference. Just be mindful that at some point you might get some of the dagganoths on you. That is when I also use veracs and the SGS to kill them, it's a good time to SGS spec too. But yes, you can use ahrims and you're right to say that it's more efficient. I just don't because I don't mind spending some time running around FoG. The void bonus is just accuracy I believe. Sorry.
-
I like battle robes for the rune saving. Last I heard, full void mage was marginally worse then Ahrims. This is because the set effect is mage accuracy and not damage. As the rock lobs are weak to mage that bonus then becomes wasted. But yep, with battle robes I manage to get an 100+ mage bonus and almost never splash on the rock lobsters. You will be able to stay down there for hours, it's a good setup. I can suggest two things, I bring veracs top, bottom and a got miter. This lets me lure quite well as tanking hits, even with pray, makes battle robes degrade faster. I also, and I know it cuts down on my charms/h, I just do, bring a melee weapon to take out melee dagganoths that you might accidentally get on you. My setup: Battle robe hood Arcane stream (fury is just as good here, arcane stream bonus doesn't work on multiple targets, not sure about this) Battle robe top Battle robe bottom Infinity boots Soul wars cape Staff of Light Unholy Book Then in my inventory: Teleport (one click) Blood Runes Death Runes Chaos Rune Water Runes Blue charm placeholder Crimson charm placeholder Veracs top Veracs Bottom Miter SGS Gem bag Rune thrownaxe x1 (for getting in) Food x1(drop this when you get down if you haven't used it, I just bring it to top off before I start bursting) P Pots x15 Oh and those spa pools are really great for getting down, if you carry the veracs you won't be able to run all the way so I highly recommend them. Also good luck getting prayer potions, they are bought out. Perhaps bring a holy wrench and fally 3/4 to help cut down on pot usage. normally I wouldn't recommend it but this buyout sucks. Oh, and an SGS pretty much will make it so that you can stay until your robes degrade. It's a worthwhile investment if you have cash laying around and think you can resell it. Or even just if you can get a loan form a friend, it really makes a difference, it's expensive but nice for camping. On the flip side, if you don't have enough cash, tome of frost will save you something like 7 million bursting from 88-96 summoning. If you have any more questions PM me, I'm currently bursting to 96 summoning in increments and I hope that I can answer any questions you have

I ranged him at 90 range and it was easy. It makes using the pillar to hide from all his damaging attacks really simple. Even at your levels I think range would be easier. I would use defelctor void + arma body. Rune xbow and ruby (e) + rune bolts. As for inventory just go 3 brews for every super restore. Pot up at the bank, but unless you have overloads there isn't so much of a point in repotting. Also for a ring, use recoil. I also suggest to use the kyatt method when he berserks.
-
I figured, oh well, I had really wanted to take advantage of this panic.
-
I would do that if I had cash, I'll check out that picture. As for Zammy GDW, including the junk would it be faster then just making cash the regular way?
-
99, it isn't too expensive either compared to other buyable 99 skills.
-
Mage defense is based off of your mage level. As it currently is, the mage minion would rip you to shreds. Remember, you are soloing the boss and all three minions.
-
Slayer isn't nearly as good without slayer helm or even weapons to slay with. This is why he should at the very least unlock slayer helm and dragon long before starting slayer.
-
If I wanted to make some junk, are there any good ways to do so? I heard adding weapon poison to some items is okay but does anyone have any figures? Saw some people selling bandos sets super cheap and taking junk, might as well snag a good deal while people are still panicking.

All the best moneymakers are combat based. Sorry. You could mine concentrated ores in the LRC on world 77 to stay safe. If you want some faster mining exp and profits. There are a lot of things that will seem like good profits but which are relatively bad. Hunter makes some decent cash at high levels. Farming herbs makes cash. Ummm, runecrafting too at higher levels is okay but nothing special. Yep, those are all the good moneymaking skills, the rest is all combat I think. Rune mining is a poor moneymaker.
-
Uhhh, lost city quest to get dragon longsword first. The I suggest doing quests until you're 85 combat. This will give you a good amount of experience and unlock a lot of useful things. At 85 combat do smoking kills and then start slayer.

Dced during multiple larges on 148 yesterday and today. Sucks, they need to upgreyed those servers.

There won't a spike if people return for new wild? This makes Nifflin sad. :(
-
Very fast exp, especially if you don't mine. Cannon, normal gear, maybe a pickaxe if you want to slow your task down for a bit of profit. They have high hp and pretty much no defense, plus they have a multiplier so you get 13% more melee exp from them. Definably do.
-
Title says it all, also, do you expect them to rise when free trade and the wild comes back? Is it worth waiting for them to return to sell?

It is common to get kicked from there, the ranks are really strict. If you need an alternate cc, "effigies cc" is a lot more laid back however a little less crowded.
