What they should do is add a special support system. By that I mean a system in which you get rewarded based on how well you support the team. They should also not give it such a static number (such as 50 hits). They should factor in the time of the game in itself. So the shorter the game, the lower the support points you would need. But... the longer the fights go... the higher support points you would need in order to get your reward(s). I really think they could have done a whole lot better at planning this game. And I know I've probably said that a lot. This was all just poorly pulled off.

Obviously some will be more prone to taking risks if they know they wont get harmed by their actions.

Well... personally... I'll just be happy when they finally get the game set up the way they want it. Seems like they can't even get the new rules right without having to amend them. The whole 50 hits concept is ok, but like others have said... they seem to be neglecting the people who are assigned (or take it upon themselves) to repair the gates. Surely repairing the gates are worth something... The combat lvl requirement I understand, but it was something that should have been in last week... not added this week. It really isn't fair to the low levels that were there getting exp. Its a change that will probably create a lot of controversy. I just can't see how some of these additions were overlooked to begin with. They should have used the Castle Wars mini game as a learning experience. They're pretty much making the same mistakes with this Pest Control game as they did with the Castle Wars game.

So no... it doesn't SEEM like you were trying to get an easy kill... you WERE trying to get an easy kill... Because from my point of view, KingofLodis, you're the one being stupid. His idea makes a lot of sense. Why? Because if they can't remove items in the trade screen... they would have to cancel the trade. Therefore the only way someone could scam would be so painfully obvious that you would almost have to be a fool to fall for it. Then again... we have plenty of fools roaming about right now that would probably still get scammed. It still was a good idea.

:roll: I just love how people beg to be PMed, when you know they'll probably use it. Its not being said for obvious reasons. And the person who just admitted to bug abusing is pretty stupid. I would say a method to raise the skill back up, but seeing as though there is a bug, and I'm unsure of what it is... I wont bother. Point is, if you play the course long enough, you'll run into tricks that help preserve you levels a bit more. Whether this is the alleged bug abuse is beyond me, therefore I wont bother sharing. Rouge's Den isn't exactly the best place to train to begin with in my opinion. Most of the items given are more or less useless.

Hardly... Over the time I was focusing just on computer rubbish... I let myself get out of shape. Physical labor is needed otherwise we'd all be over weight. Happy to say I didn't let myself get too far out of shape, and now I'm pretty close to where I wanna be as far as physical shape goes. Wouldn't see how you'd be able to play RS and paint window frames, but ok. Sounds to me like you're AFKing, which is against the rules and not a very good idea to begin with anyways. blizace... a simple spelling mistake is nothing compared to someone not even comprehending what they read (or not bothering to read at all). ...and don't feel so compelled to correct users spellings. You're gonna get a bad rep for it. Trust me... I know. I didn't even ever correct users spelling mistakes, yet some moron got the idea that I did and decided to spout off to me about it. :roll: EDIT: For the record... the guy I just addressed is a hypocrite as well. Connecting maturity to anything is just wrong, unless it is based on that individuals own actions. There were, and probably still are, a great amount of high levels that act immature. I've been proven wrong a many of times (in game and on these forums) when calling someone a kid, their rebuttal is usually a comment that while it makes them look even more foolish... proves me wrong. And yeah, maybe 8 or 9 year olds aren't as independent as others, but at least you can get through to them to a certain degree (depending on their up bringing of course). Where with teenagers... there is absolutely no getting through to some of them. I'd say the teenagers are the most immature. And then even some of the adults that are in their 20's are as well. EDIT: Sorry for any mistakes, I think I got most of the grammar and spelling fixed. My vision is slightly impaired at the moment.

Its probably similar to the mini game with the chest locks (forget the name of it). Basically... Random Events are on timers. If you exceed the time and are in the middle of something like a mini game... the random event will pop up right after you are out of that mini game. Its probably a flaw that might not easily be fixed.

The scamming back in the day was on a smaller scale, that cannot be debated. Now that the community is bigger... its done on a larger scale. I don't see how anyone can possibly argue that point. When you're sitting in Varrock literally watching people macro... you KNOW the community has hit an all time low. This new fix might change things, but for how long is the question really. So yeah... take the two cents and the 2 thousand dollars back. Because you're wrong. :P

I love how some of yous like to rag on people for wanting to make legit money quick... yet yous never bother to rag on merchants, who are the scum of this entire community. I for one (when I was playing, of course) liked buying for f2pers. Even had a specific person I bought from for the most part, and we chatted from time to time and got along. All this buying levels rubbish is nonsense. Buying levels has been around since forever, and long before RCing was ever created. And there are other skills that can crank out some more more money (Barrows, Slayer, Mining, Smithing... dare I go on?). I'm seeing a lot of weak arguements, but thats besides the point I guess. I'm not totally against this change, but it is a bummer. And I don't appreciate morons calling me a winger either.

I see why it was done, but in return... it isn't fair to those on f2p who were mining the essence in a legit manner. Jagex claims that there are other ways of making better money...? I kind of disagree there. Mining essence on f2p and selling to p2pers was probably one of the best ways of making money. Only other thing that might make as much or more money is pking... And well some people are lovers, not fighters (lets be honest). I felt that essence kind of connected p2pers with f2pers in a way that it benefitted both. F2pers would get paid an ok amount for the essence... P2pers would take those essence and make them into runes. Then they would either resell the runes or use them for their own personal use (which they profitted from). Its sad to see macroers ruin the game for everyone.

The coding needs work. For whatever reason, the background looks like a frames layout. Looks really weird. Opera doesn't seem to be displaying the free web site, and well I'm not stupid enough to use IE on a site I'm not familiar with. Seems ok, but as I mentioned before on some other guide... It just seems like general information. The RS Knowledge Base pretty much already has all the general info... which kind of makes guides like these pointless. It would make more sense to have a guide that is focused on strategy, but thats just my opinion. EDIT: Ok, I'm seeing some strategy, you just might wanna expand a bit more upon it. And run spell check, you made a few simple spelling mistakes, I believe.

They both suck... but thats really besides the point... I think the author was just trying to stretch the concept a bit too much. Making it into something it isn't. Could be wrong, but I think its safe to say no one really cares if it was in Harry Potter. I'll be glad when the final book comes out though. Its rumored that Harry is gonna get killed off.

Well... naming names is actually against the rules. And I think the alias that you gave the guy can be recognized by some. If its the guy I think you are talking about... You should've known better then to train with him. He is an immature moron. Yeah... it sucks to get burned like that. But its only a game and thats all it ever will be. Its best to just let someone that weak minded think he got a good steal, when actually you can get the stuff back in under a week or so (depending on how well your overall skills are).
