  1. I confirmed it before I posted it :P
  2. Good to see I'm not the only one who's having laggy forum issues >_>
  3. The Zammy Mage overrides NPCs attacking you - plus we're talking about players now overriding NPCs
  4. Confirmed: I realize this is a hidden update and therefore would go in the sticky, but I feel like this particular update (unless it's a bug) could promote some sort of discussion. Anyways... If you're engaged in combat with an NPC in the wilderness, another player can attack you - even if you're in a single-combat area. Is this good or bad? How will it affect you and/or other players? A few situations to take into consideration: You can now attack green dragon hunters who are being attacked by a dragon. You can now attack runecrafters who are being attacked by a skeleton. You can now attack trainers who are being attacked by earth warriors. You can now attack trainers who are being attacked by magic axes. You can now attack people who are being attacked by pirates. You can now attack trainers who are being attacked by Zamorak/Guthix/Saradomin mages (the Mage Arena ones). [Mod Edit: Title edited due to Jagex announcing this update on the news page ~misterxman]
  5. Many do, since without PC, enchanting in the Mage Training Arena w/ 87+ magic is the best affordable magic XP you can get. It takes dozens of thousands of cosmics, so many people are always buying more.
  6. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=560928 Needs to be updated, though
  7. Jagex just needs to release new food - the max hp we can heal per "turn" is only 37 (tuna potato + sara brew). Since the dagger can hit potential 40-40s four times in a row, we definitely need higher healing food. Max HP wouldn't help much unless you plan on staying at 80+ hp the entire fight
  8. Courtesy of X Undine X from MM forums:
  9. Random events aren't random, they're easy to trigger under the right circumstances...
  10. Funny, I always imagined him to look like The Penguin from Batman >_>
  11. Thongs for that special someone
  12. That's why I have a green drag COSTUME - it's like one of those two-people horse costumes - but it's a dragon!!!
  13. "[insert witty examine here]"
  14. *bites his tongue*
  15. 1. If a friend from RL lent you a party hat to wear once and give back, would you take it? No 2. If an ingame friend gave you his partyhat to wear then give back, would you take it? No 3. If a rich person you hardly knew lent you his partyhat to wear and give back, would you take it? No 4. If you knew someones password, and knew they were rich, would you take thier stuff? No 5. Would you kill a skulled person in the wilderness for a partyhat? Yes 6. Would you accept a duel with a much lower level that stakes all his money (say 5 mil)? Yes 7. If someone died, and dropped something valuable, would you give it back? Yes, no matter what
  16. They were only expensive in the first place because they were rare - they have (mostly) obsolete stats now compared to the new items being released. Whips are getting cheaper because more and more people are getting 85 slayer. Most people don't bother getting 85 slayer anymore (or at least solely for killing Abyssal Demons) because there's already so many lvl-85 slayers that the value of the whip has dropped dramatically. As it stands now, the best money-making skill is 91 runecrafting, which more and more people are beginning to pursue. So the prices are fair, if not too high - who wants to pay 300k for a useless item like a D Med? People used to slay certain monsters solely for those drops, but nobody does that anymore because it's no longer profitable. They may get a D med spontaneously from a drop but they won't freak out about it because of its low value. Thus, the prices of non-rares are at those prices for a good reason. It's only a matter of time before barrows armor gets to an affordable level in which everybody with 70+ defence can afford it to PK with. When that happens, the term "rune pure" will be gone (along with the 1 def pures which are already getting massacred now).
  17. Seems sorta unnecessary unless it's done for rares, which would be a little too much
  18. I used to offer the "valuable" items they were trading for whips to the 2nd person. Like if they were buying a whip for a warrior ring, I'd go offer my warrior ring to the 2nd scammer - they'd both log off. Do this to a few of the scammer teams and they're all gone :)
  19. A boat's a boat, but the mystery box could be anything! IT COULD EVEN BE A BOAT!
  20. It has to be random - if there was a way to get half keys/high-level gems from them, players would abuse that method every time they got a strange box - and strange boxes are very common, so there would be tons of half keys flowing in
  21. Healers spawn when Jad's at half health. If you kill at least one of them while Jad is above half health, the healers will sometimes return when he hits half health again. I've killed the healers many times when Jad was above half health - sometimes they return, sometimes they don't.
