  1. Pick mort myre fungi for 30 minutes (~250 k). Spend this 250 k on 5 snapdragon seeds and 5 super compost to plant. After you plant them go DG for an hour and a half. Then go harvest all of your herbs, sell them on the GE, buy 5 more seeds. With the 150 k profit go to the RFD chest and buy all the chocolate bars, cooking apples, and pots of flour and sell those on the GE for another 120 k profit. Visit ardy for your free rune essence, yanille for your free sand, catherby for your almost free seaweed for another 50 k profit. Take your 320 k to your slayer master and buy all the broad bolt/arrow tips you can to sell for another 100-130 k profit. Take this and buy all your battlestaffs for another 10, 18, 35, or 70 k profit (depends on your tasks completed). With what's left on your hour and a half timer go back to DGing. Go harvest your second set of herbs and plant your third set. If you don't have Jujus go to Herblore habitat to work on getting them. Once you've aquired 1.6 mil again invest 1.35 mil into MTK for your passive 2-3 mil profit a week. On another note, Bandos is only decent money if you can yak the bones and have turmoil to make up for the lack of a healing familiar. That and the hilt drop rate is estimated to be around 1/250-1/300 means its not surprising at all that you haven't seen any good drops...
  2. You only buy the food supplies from the chest.
  3. Wadebling is actually a machine and not human ;) most people will average ~20 min for a solo med depending on floor plan. My record is 13:24 and my worst has been 28+.
  4. 1. Grab a stopwatch. 2. Start your stopwatch at the second your bank screen pops up 3. Withdraw your fish, cook them, and when your bank screen pops up again stop your stopwatch. 4. Take the number of seconds it took you, round up to the nearest multiple of five to account for potential misclicks you'll probably have. 5. Take your time (x) and plug it into the equation (3600/x)*28. 6. ???? 7. Profit! 8. Use profit to make wines for cooking exp instead ;)
  5. I'd say anything over 80 defense with even rune armour you're going to be able to survive with no food. Your natural life point regen will out pace their damage. At lower levels if this is an issue you can use a regen bracelet and the lp restore rate prayer (not the dg one) for 4 times the restore rate. Alternatively if you have lunars you can use the dream spell for additional increase in the rate of LP reduction. *vomits at having given such inefficient advice* *Erherm* Excuse me, the only other options you have would be an EE or a bunyip, and of course prot melee; you should be praying str boosting prayers at the least to improve how terrible mossys are for training so you might as well slap on your prayer gear and use prot melee as well. On the bright side ppots are cheap and with a lucky seed drop you'll easily pay for those expenses.

At 71, you wouldn't go there (except maybe with an artic bear) because the catch rate absolutely 100% sucks. I was there at 70 and again at 72, at both times - I found that catching black salamanders was significantly better. And you would have found that red sallys would have been better still, black salamanders are a terrible way to train from every angle: slower exp/hr than at least 5 other methods, no benefit gained from catching them in the long term, more click intensive than 2 other faster methods and tied for the other 3 which have significantly better exp for the effort involved, and to boot they're in the wilderness. If you have brawlers then I might be able to see it, but grenwall/pawya hunting is about the same exp/hr with amazing profit (in comparison) in that case. Even with a larupia (or one of the other 2 hunter boosting familiars you unlock at the same sum lvl) they're worth going to at 70. Hell even granted the catch rate "sucks" at his level its worth doing for herb seeds he'll gather in total. I'm 99 hunter and its a drag to have to take care of spending hours getting wasted exp in the skill for the sake of getting the jujus I want. If he doesn't level there now he'll regret it later. Not to mention the significant amount of essentially free herblore exp that comes with making all the juju's from seeds gathered to 99 hunter (I'll calc approx. how much herb exp he'd get later, im sleepy from my all night paper...) TLDR: don't follow litterbugs advice, HH is the only place you should be training.
  7. What do you buy from the RFD chest that makes a profit? everything You can buy everything. I buy the chocolate bars, cooking apples, and pots of flour. Its about 130-150 k profit depending on prices. The rest I can't be bothered to mess with.
  8. Brackish blade would still be a good investment as its one of the best pre-chaotic rapier stab weapons. That way when you are assigned dragons from slaying your way through what I outlined in your other topic you'll be able to kill them much more quickly. ;) Highly recommend against getting a d long.
  9. Useful for combat? No. Useful for lots of other things in runescape? Yes. Firstly, a d long is not comparable to a d scim. Anyone who tells you otherwise is misinformed or trolling. Secondly in order of stat progression for your melee's either take care of monkey madness for getting a dragon scimitar or save money for a brackish blade. Finish the quest Wolf Whistle to unlock summoning, from there train via slayer, picking up all your charms, to the following stats... Strength to 70 (d scim/bblade) Go to the warriors guild for your dragon defender Defense to 60 (d scim/bblade+ddefender) Attack to 70 (d scim/bblade+ddefender) Buy an abyssal whip Def to 70 (whip+ddefender) Buy a Saradomin sword Strength to 80 (sara sword) Attack to 80 (whip+ddefender) Defense to 80 (whip+ddefender) While leveling you should be using peng points/tears of guthix/lamps/unlocking resource dungeons to level dungeoneering. You should easily hit 50 by the time you are done getting your melees to 80. If you have time read guides on DGing so you have some head knowledge before you dive in. Then join the clanchat Dung_Smith and patiently/politely ask them to smith you a gorgonite 2h and a gorgonite platebody. Bind both of these. As you DG put your first tokens into customizing your ring of kinship, invest them in to the berserker class until you hit Tier 5, then you can start saving your tokens Always have the agressive stance set for your 2h, there's one for slash, one for crush. Once you get into the second abandoned floors keep your eye out for night spiders for their unique drop the Shadowsilk Hood, which prevents a large number of monsters in DG from being able to see you. Destroy your platebody and bind this should you come across one. DG until you hit 200 k tokens, which should bring you to level 83 strength from killing things in DG. Purchase a Chaotic Rapier and level... Strength to 99 Attack to 99 Defense to 99 At any point in this process if you have the money for the following skills spend the money to level them... Summoning-68,88,92,95,96,99 (this is contingent on charms as well as cash obviously) Prayer-43,70,95 Herblore-85,91 For gear you should purchase your focus should be on maximizing your strength bonus. Its 6 am and I haven't slept yet so I will edit this tomorrow with gear goals (if someone doesn't beat me too it *looks at Q*) and a list of quests you should work on as you need a break from slayer or DG.

Red chins are never the fastest exp at any level. Common jadinkos will be as close to max speed for your level as you can get. Combine that with how invaluable juju potions are there is literally no reason to train hunter outside of Herblore Habitat unless you value agility exp in an obsenely high fashion (barehanded butterflies). Follow the training methods outlined in the HH guide in the AoW. Start growing blue flowers and harvesting them now so you'll have a stockpile for paying the farmer to watch your ugene seeds you'll eventually be planting.
  11. Standard advice Frosties Herb farming every 1.5 hours. If not farming torstol most herbs can be made into unf pots for additional profit. Jujus are also invaluable. MTK as soon as you have a spare mil to invest. Dailies such as battlestaves, slayer masters broad bolt/arrow tips, RFD chest (400 k profit from that alone). If you don't want to do frosties with a rapier you'll steal every kill from CT green dragon bots and can pull in 1.5 mil an hour easily. Cheers.
  12. I never thought about BCA lol but im going to see how i like AGS and SS first if neither of them are to my likeing ill just wait to TD until i get my maul and i'll focus 100% on getting it. Personal opionion, using a sarasword and borrowing claws for the spec might be a more efficient fun use of your money ;) claw specs are much more reliable than AGS specs. Off topic, did you get the cookie I sent you?
  13. Worth noting some stab weak things (eg: Hellhounds) are weaker to crush than slash. Don't just slash everything. True, my point was that stab weak things arent particularly an issue when your slash bonus is so high so you aren't losing much by losing the stab from the spear while you gain a ton from the ring with the 2h.
  14. I'm sorry my previous post was considered spam. Please accept this cookie as an apology. *gives cookie* On topic your best bets for 2 handed weapons before you get your maul are the Saradomin Sword as mentioned by wadebling and Sir Squab, any Godsword, and of course claws for your spec weapon. If you don't own a godsword and can't borrow one for whatever reason and you don't want to use a sara sword a barrelchest anchor is +100 str and same speed as the GS, as well as looking hilarious when you hit the TD with it.
  15. This is not true, it only effects combat stats.
  16. 40 k is very low for your lvl. I'm only 77 and got 60 k exp/hr without going full speed through my dungeons. It still is the best, better if you have a friend clear the dungeon while you fish.
  17. I wouldn't recommend getting 95 prayer in one go (which ironically is what I'm doing...). Buy 840 d bones or frost dragon bones, 40 marrentill and a tort, spend the 43 min offering bones and then go do something else. Just do this once a day. With frost dragon bones you'll have it by the end of 2 weeks. With dragon bones by the end of a month.
  18. T1 with a 2h is better than a spear. The slash bonus is so high you can essentially brute force your way through any monster weak to stab, and you have a crush option for the others.
  19. That and your defender adds to your cannons accuracy.
  20. Err, making the compost doesn't take that much time (and it gives a minor amount of exp as well). If you really want exp - you should probably go look at trees. I never said it takes a long time, but fertile soil has the benefiit of saved inventory spaces as well as the ability to supercompost a patch that you've already placed a seed in. That combined with the lunar teles being tailor made for farming runs makes it a no brainer to consider. I totally agree - if you're speed farming. (Or just not farming allotments) You carry two extra slots of items (nature + astrals) All I'm saying is, if you're already farming the watermelons - take an extra minute or so to make them into supercomposts. I'm not saying go out of your way to make supercomposts but if you're already growing something in the allotment patches - why not? Let's not argue seeing as we agree ;)
  21. Use prot melee and piety, elite void for sure. Everything else looks good. Keep your eyes open for effigies ;)
  22. If you're leveling for effigies you only need 91(2?) to do them all with mature chefs delight. What others have outlined for fish is fine, I would recommend looking at wines though. The time saved by training at over 400 k exp/hr can be used to more than make up for the loss of money.
