Yup. It was one giant mess of incompetence and troll by Jagex. Firstly, instead of getting Chris L to write it, they got someone who probably hasn't even seen Araxxor in-game write (Mod Michelle - who is quite nice but ill-suited for this job). Secondly, after this update came out, she was slowly updating the Araxxor guide - I'd refresh it every 5 minutes and there'd be a few new sentences. Basically what it means is she was doing the guide on the spot, winging it. Thirdly, all she had was a few notes Chris L gave her. Like what? Then there were literally dozens of errors on there that were very basic. Then Chris L apparently saw the guide, gave her some feedback, she changed it and quite a few of the errors were gone, with some remaining. Chris L should have pre-written the guide (by Sunday at the latest) and it should have been updated in its entirety on Monday. Not have some poor women who knows nothing about it try and do her best. Then it turns out, even the updated guide from Chris L, was completely bare in information, and had no secret mechanics (aside from the 5 acid bounces) at all. After telling the community for 2 weeks there was more to Araxxor, that we were overthinking it, keep looking, and how it would be revealed on August 11, that's it? The supposed secret mechanic was something we already found on day 2 or something, yet he kept leading us on? What a giant troll! A lot of people are naturally upset about this and being ragey on the forums and sarcastic and poor Mod Michelle has to put up with Chris L's stuff. The main issue I had with the wiki is that Michelle was literally not allowed to put up the mechanics for 2 weeks because Chris L or someone else wouldn't let her. If Jagex is going to try to have a decent wiki they need to make it as complete and accurate as possible. For some reason quest guides get put up immediately but bossers are so special that they need to avoid spoilers for boss mechanics like Araxxor. Because bosses can be abused, generally quests can't.

It's much faster. I was using Death Lotus and Death Lotus darts at Arma and Kree would spawn either just after, or just before i kill the last minion. After an hour trip i ended up with 166 KC (39 Kree kills). Iirc my average before this was 25 Kree's/hour. So almost twice as fast. If i used Slayer helm and Summoning potions probably would have been more than double. There's hardly time to loot, lol. Probably my favorite update in a very long time. Makes GWD a bit more exciting again, and could possibly be a decent moneymaker now. EDIT: Just did another hour, pretty much same result. 173 KC (37 Kree kills) Also, it's about 400k Ranged/Def Exp/h. So that's actually pretty decent.

Well the 1st path is a lot easier. Got it on my 2nd attempt. 1st attempt was actually the first time i got to Araxxi.... That [bleep] is crazy.

I'm trying to get the a kill for the upcoming Comp Cape requirement, but i've been having some trouble. I gave it a few tries today, without much luck. I keep dying on the 3rd phase. Either because i run out of food, or because of the green exploding spider. Basically my Setup is Death Lotus, Chaotic Crossbows, Brews (20) and Rocktails. I think i have the basics down pretty well. I'll get hit with the cleave attack every now and then, but 9 times out of 10 i avoid it pretty easily. I feel like my only issue is not dealing enough damage. I'm also unsure if i should tank or kill the spiders in the 2nd phase. I know i have to kill the Pulsing and Mirror spiders, but not sure if i should bother with the others. I'm not really sure what i can do to improve my chances, so any advice would probably be useful.

That's because there's no way to mod it on PC. On console its easy. Save game on USB, use whatever software you need, transfer it back to console. Apparently with Xbox One there's no way to do this though. And when UEE is released they're planning on taking further steps to prevent modding. In yesterday's Q&A stream one of the Devs mentioned that it's impossible for them to completely stop modding because consoles can play offline, but they'll do what they can to prevent it online. Step in the right direction.

Honestly, if you want to make it fair, it should be first come first serve. If the names are hoarded, too bad you were too slow. Announce the date on which the names will be free'd. Few days before said date, release the name. There's going to be chaos on the servers anyway, at least this way no one is given special treatment. Yeah, the thing is, for something to be preferential treatment or favoritism, the criteria being judged has to be subjective. A player's total level is a firmly objective criterion, so its not preferential treatment or favoritism in any way, shape, or form. You earn levels, you earn privileges. She's not [bleep]ing suggesting that they give out names to people with [bleep]ing blonde hair first or something. God damn it. You're kidding right? You earn levels you earn privileges? Did you think that through? So what about the players that spent 1000 hours pking? What about the players that spent 1000 staking? Or pures? Or skillers? Or PvMers? You are giving preferential treatment. You're now suggesting that players should be punished for not playing efficiently. What a surprise coming from someone in EE. I'm almost shocked.

And how many of the players that "are with you" have comp/max capes or are at least close to it? Probably most of them. Its bullcrap. Again i'll say that it is in no way a fair system at all. This gives preferential treatment to certain players. Is my membership fee more important now, just because of my total level? C'mon, get real. Release thelist of names a day or two beforehand, and let the spam-clickers fight it out. If a hoarder ends up taking half the names, like i said too bad you were too slow. There are many low level players who are just as deserving to have a name they desire than any of the people who are maxed.

One of my best friends was dating a guy, for almost 2 years. About a year into the relationship he started beating her, cheating on her, taking money from her. He threatened to kill her several times, he had several connections with the Police and threatened to make her life a living hell if she left him. They did eventually break up, about 10 months ago. I don't know why, i guess he got sick of her. 3 Months ago i heard that a girl he was dating for only a month or two fled the country and went back to Spain because he was beating her too. Today i found out that he has a son with a Filipino girl. She also left the country (3 years ago more or less) because he abused her and she didn't want to raise a kid with him. Actually, i knew this for a while now, but what i found out today was that his kid went missing last week some time when there was a flood in their village. I hate saying this, i really do (especially because it's a tragic event), but Karma has a way to catch up with you. None of the people he thought was his friends are willing to help him out with money to go to the Philippines, no one is showing him any sympathy. I'm probably a bad person for saying this. I guess Karma will catch up to me too, eventually.

To be honest, i feel like i got extremely lucky. When the namechange first came out the first thing i did was change my name. My previous name was a bit...dark/idiotic. I don't know. I was new to the internet (yeah, at the age of 17 i was "new" to the internet) and i thought it was a badass name and would get me laid in a heartbeat. 2 Years later (or something like that) i the namechange came out, and i was able to change it. Got really lucky with a good 3 Letter name that actually meant something and haven't looked back since. I changed it now and then, for 28 days, if i lost bets, or just for fun, but Nox will always be my identity now. It's made the game a bit more fun for me, in a way. I don't know, but if i ever HAD to change my name and not see Nox when i log in it just wouldn't feel the same. So i can understand why some people want to find the "right" name. But i also agree with the whole constantly changing your name thing. It is annoying, taking a break for a few weeks, and coming back to a friendslist that seems completely unfamiliar.

Yesterday we received our first update in probably 6 months (i'm not 100% sure). They finally did something to take care of some of the modded items in the game. After the update i layed a few games online and it was kind of funny to see how many people with ridiculously low DPS there were. I played with about 20 different people ranging from Paragon 1 - 60 (that was the highest i encountered) and none of them had over 250k Sheet DPS. Usually at least 1 in 5 people i played with would have at least above 500k. One of the guys i played a few games with over the past few weeks had a Monk sitting at 1.7m Sheet DPS unbuffed. He swore on his life that his items were all legit (1.7m DPS for a Monk on Console is very....unlikely). Played a game with him yesterday after patch and his DPS was down to 115k. Was hilarious to hear the excuses he was coming up with when i asked him what happened to all his gear. Felt good still having all my gear, still having at least 500k DPS on every character. It's just under 2 weeks till UEE release date though, and a lot of people are still asking questions that have still not been answered. People concerned about post-launch support. Apparently there was a Gamespot Q&A stream and all the questions asked and answered were questions already answered 100 times before. Honestly, if the game comes out semi-balanced, i don't really care for post-launch support. I'm happy they took some steps towards cleaning the game up in terms of modded gear.

Very nice Career choice you have there. Where do you eventually hope to end up? ATC was something i've been thinking about for a while, but i know it can be extremely stressful. I don't know if that's something i want at such a young age.

Kinda starting to think i might break up with my girlfriend when i "graduate" . I feel like relationships just aren't for me anymore. I have certain routines and habits at home, and i don't like breaking them. And this past month she's lived with me for 2 weeks while my parents were away and i don't know... It was fun having her here and shit, but having to do things so much differently was weird. I don't know if i liked it.

Slightly annoyed. Past few days i've been playing online a bit. Farming with some randoms. It's been fun, but frustrating. Frustrating because can sometimes take a while to find a lobby of players that aren't using modded gear (basically giving them insane DPS meaning they 1shot anything, which ultimately takes the fun out of everything). But over the past few days i've manage to trade some of the stuff i no longer needed for a few upgraded. And then today..... i noticed that some of the stuff i traded weren't actually legit items. Some of it was modded. Slightly, but enough to bother me. At this point i couldn't really remember exactly what i had traded and what i didn't so i ended up having to dump the majority of my gear. Kind of frustrating. Lost probably 20 - 30% DPS on all classes. Not a major issue on Console, but still a bit frustrating. Makes soloing Master 5 pretty much impossible. EDIT: Well that was pretty quick. Managed to get a few decent items yesterday. Wizard is almost back to where he was, DH back to where he was. Monk is actually a bit better off now. WD is around back to where he was. Even managed to pick up an item that might be useful for when i get RoS. Barbarian... well he's improved greatly. Almost double the DPS i had before. Changed my Barbarian build completely. It's actually a really fun build to run now. Focuses on buffs pretty much and i have Wrath of the Berserker (Insanity) in my back pocket for Elites/Bosses. Previously my Barbarian was sitting at around 700k DPS buffed and now it's at around 1300k Buffed which is pretty damn good considering i've not seen anyone else higher than around 900k (unless they're using modded gear). My CC and CD sitting at 84.50% and 620% respectively. It's pretty damn fun. Melting face.

Been getting kinda bored of CoD the last 2 or 3 days. I've been playing it for almost 3 weeks straight now. Decided to switch things up this morning and played some Diablo 3 (on XBox). First 3 "lobbies" i got into had at least 3 hackers in (people using modded gear that put them at like 4m DPS (which is insanely high for console considering my Wizard had 900k DPS with pretty much "max" gear). So they end up 1-hitting everything which is just play stupid and ruins the fun. Finally managed to get into a game that was clean. I'm still trying to get a few items to finish off my Monk (Won Khim Lau) before i get my copy of RoS (19th August). I've still got a ton of games on my PC that i either haven't finished or started, but soon as i decide to play it the thought of playing a Single Player game just demotivates me. Think i might stick to D3 for a few days and see if i get lucky.

So i just went outside to have a cigarette. Wind is so strong. Can't even see across the street cause of all the dust. I was outside for 5 minutes and i have a 20cm layer of sand on me. To top it all off the wind blew my can of pepsi right out of my hand. And it was the last one too!

So the LAN event i was meant to attend a few weeks ago ended up being postponed to last weekend. We finished second, which is pretty alright. Could have had a first place finish but i had to carry a bit in the last match. It was basic e-sport rules (Black Ops 2) so we played Hardpoint, CTF, and SnD. We won the first Hardpoint, lost the CTF, won the SnD, lost the second Hardpoint and CTF and then ended up losing the last SnD 5-6. My friend got a whopping 1 kill the last SnD, so yeah. But all in all it was a pretty fun experience. I thought we would be the two oldest people there, but most of the guys were around our age except for 2 teams (i think they were 18 or something). Saturday me and my girlfriend went out for a late dinner. My car has had a strange rattle for the past month or so, but i couldn't figure out what it was. I checked around the back of the car a few times, checked the tires, etc. but still couldn't figure it out. Then on Saturday on our way out i pulled over on the side of the road because it was really bothering me now. Realised that my back left tire was... i don't know how to explain it, but it had like a huge tear in it.probably about 20 cm long. It wasn't deep enough to deflate the tire, but you could see the tear clearly. So i drove to a place where i could change it. There were no gas stations near by, so i was stuck having to change it myself. Not a big issue because i've had to change tires a few times before on some of my old cars. I thought it would be as simple as my old car (Audi) but i was in for a surprise. Took me about an hour to change it, but i got it done. One thing i can say though, changing an Audi's tire is soooooooooooo much easier than changing a Mustang's tire. The Audi's jack (if i remember correctly) was automatic and it was very clearly marked where you had to place it. The Mustang's was not. The jack was shitty, and i had to struggle for about 10 minutes to find out where to put it. On top of that, the bolts were so tight. Oh and to make things even better i had to do this at around 10pm, in ~35 degree heat with ~50% humidity. I was pretty much drenched in sweat afterwards. But now my car is running smooth again, and i feel a lot safer.

I dropped a 50 - 3 on Carrier TDM just now. Went on a 21 Gunstreak too. It was a really good game. Used the Peacekeeper (probably one of my new favorite weapons), and i just went to work. Picked up a Sniper and got a few kills with that, and later on same thing with a Silenced LMG. Can't believe i finally dropped a 50 in TDM. EDIT: And i went on a 26 gunstreak on Express TDM. If i didn't have 4 stupid deaths early on, i could have had a nuclear...

I used to have select fire on it, when i was still playing on PC. But i don't really like it that way any more. The reason i like the burst fire is because of the accuracy. On carrier i can get crossmap kills in 2 or 3 bursts consistently. I run Scavenger on all of my classes too even though i don't go on high gunstreaks i sometimes find myself playing a bit carelessly with my ammo. I'll prefire corners, walls, doorways, cover, etc. if i think someone is coming from there. Highest gunstreak ive gone on in BO2 is 18. Pretty sure if i run UAV/VSAT/EMP i could improve that greatly. Might try that soon.

Yeah in all honesty i feel like Argentina didn't make enough opportunities for themselves and the ones the did make weren't executed very well. I guess same can be said for Germany. I've been looking at the goal they scored and in all honesty it was messy defense on Argentina's side. Demichelis (i think it was him) completely let Gotze go, and started running towards whoever it was that made the cross (iirc it was Schweinsteiger) after he already had 2 defenders on him. At that point he should have realized that the cross was going to happen, and he should have instead focused on his mark and try to prevent whatever could possible happen from the cross. Gotze was in the box with no defender within like 5 meters of him. That's just sloppy play in all honesty. That's probably the one mistake their defense made all night, and they got punished for it (rightfully so i guess).

Well according to the match statistics 2 of their shots did count as "on target", but that's 2 of the 10 they took. Compared to the 7 of 10 from Germany it was quite obvious who should have won.
