Hey there, welcome to TIF :). I do appreciate you taking the time to capture and post a screenshot, but actually all of our content (including Clue Scroll locations) is for RS3. If it happens to match up with an OSRS location, that is either by coincidence or perhaps because it has not been changed or updated :unsure: . We don't really have the manpower to keep track of Old School stuff either, unfortunately. If there are a large number of clues that are exactly the same for RS3 and OSRS, then sure, we could put an asterisk or something on them. I don't think any of the Crew even play Old School though, so I'm sure you can appreciate why this would be quite difficult for us to implement. Once again though, thanks, and if you happen to play RS3 or do any clues from there that are missing, please do post them :).

Hello, welcome to TIF! :) Well, guess it's been a while since you played :P. If you're interested, there is an 'Old School' version of the game that has much of the content from around 2007 that you can play. Unfortunately, you have to start from scratch there: all skills at level 1, no bank. Unless you're really into PK'ing or loved the old combat system that much, I wouldn't recommend it. I just thought I'd let you know though, just in case you wanted to take a peek! The good news for you is that Evolution of Combat really made things easier rather than more difficult. Experience in combat skills can be gained much faster. Common training monsters in terms of pure xp are things like hellhounds (afk melee) and waterfiends (more for Ranged and used for charm farming). If you want to make some money along the way, you can kill dragons for money, or do Slayer, which is generally regarded as a great way to train as it helps mix things up and you get xp in another skill "for free" as you train combat. If you want to get more used to the combat system, I recommend you either set up Revolution or try Legacy mode for the time being. I am not too familiar with the Ape Atoll method you mentioned. I think it's something popular on Old School, chinning them or something? I think Waterfiend killing has outpaced it on RS3 though. For most purposes, the standard GWD armor - Bandos for melee, Armadyl for ranged, and Subjugation for magic - is sufficient. That is effectively the best armor you can get without going into higher tier, degradable armor. That armor is mainly only useful for higher end boss killing, so probably not something to worry about right away. If you could mention the rest of your stats or provide a stat signature it would help to suggest some other things you should try out. For example, there are a bunch of Dungeoneering rewards that were added, even after the originals, that will be quite helpful to you as you level up combat. The charming imp is one, and it will automatically collect charms from monsters as you kill them. It saves a lot of time in the long run when you are collecting charms for Summoning. Also if you have a high Slayer level already, there are higher level Slayer creatures that are probably more lucrative than regular dragons. If you have 85 Dungeoneering, you can hunt down Frost Dragons and pull down a consistent few million per hour. There's also a whole new skill called Divination I recommend you try it. It can be kind of boring to train (or so I'm told), but it does unlock some nice benefits. In particular (although they are tradeable so you don't technically need to train the skill for them), you can get Signs of the Porter to bank a certain number of items automatically. There are some restrictions on it though. I'm also moving your topic to Help & Advice as it's better suited here and you will likely receive more advice here :). My guess is that the login server you are getting directed to is somehow offline then. You can try contacting tech support and see if they have any other suggestions, or maybe try a direct link to one of the world servers, like so: https://world119.runescape.com/ If neither of those work I'm not sure what to do. Hopefully it's a temporary issue and they can resolve it soon, or someone else has more suggestions.

Hey there, welcome to TIF. :) Do you experience the same problems trying to run RuneScape in the browser as well? Does it freeze on that screen forever or saying error: connecting to server after a few minutes? I'm assuming you tried the usual fixes like clearing cache and reinstalling it. Also just as a security tip you should definitely make sure antivirus and firewall are on in general - the most you want to do is whitelist RuneScape appropriately.
