I heard a rumor that portables were kind of a teaser for what Invention was supposed to bring. Is there any truth to this, have plans changed, or is it just too far off in the future at the moment to tell?

That was quite a search! But if I understand correctly, shooting stars give a certain amount of bonus xp. That xp does stack with brawling gloves, assuming this QFC is correct: [qfc]154-155-400-65392703[/qfc].

There are many, many things to enjoy in membership. To name a few, clan citadels, more skills, hundreds of quests, and faster methods of training almost everything, along with the potential to make more money. I wouldn't stay F2P unless you are really hardcore into it, like myself. I'm also moving this to Help & Advice as this is better suited there :).

I don't think waiting is necessary anymore. Just bind a key to iron ore and keep holding that down the whole time while you click with the other hand.

I've done mining for hour after hour and I barely managed 42k in an hour, falling to around 40k/hr over many hours. And that's with urns, holding down the key, and mining all 4 rocks as soon as they respawn! Am I missing something?

Something like goblins, trolls, cows, etc. are best at low levels because: -you can one-hit them -you won't bleed a ton of damage as they don't hurt you for much -there is a large enough mob in an area to keep killing It shouldn't take that many hours to get up to level 40 in stats, just keep at it :). Dagon'Hai monks may also work, despite their high combat level. They only hit a maximum of 1 damage. I'm not sure how well this works at low levels but it may be worth investigating, since you are P2P.

To paste a screenshot directly into your post, click the 'image' button on the toolbar above the area where you type your reply. It's on the second row, about the 10 buttons over from far left, and looks like a small picture of a tree. For example, if I wanted to put in my avatar, it would look like this: . If you want to type it all in code, the syntax is [*img = "URL of Image here"] (delete the * that I put so it would show up unformatted). At level 1 you are pretty much forced into either tin/copper/clay. There are many good spots for these including Varrock mines and underneath Falador. You'll want to do this until you reach iron and can mine it comfortably (perhaps a few levels past 15). After that point, powermining (mine and drop) iron ore is by far the fastest method. If you want to make some profit doing it as well, the resource dungeon under Falador is an excellent place to mine and bank it, as it is only a few steps away. It requires a minimal Dungeoneering level (15) to access the bank. You may have to compete with bots, however, which may be difficult until you level up a bit more. Foreign worlds are usually free of bots because they don't bother reprogramming them for another language and two worlds. A spot like the 4 rocks in Rimmington in a foreign world one be the emptiest. Re Hedgehog: you have to move one space for the third rock but it's still a great spot. The three rocks without moving bit was actually altered years ago :P.

On another note, I looked it up and corrupt dragon sq shield and plateskirt actually alch for comprable to G.E. price...free use lol.
