  2. Your interpretation is correct :P. Like many expressions, the meaning has been changed/evolved over time and it's more or less a joke to ask sarcastically, "Hey, give me some!"

Is the proper way to look at a bucket list half done or half undone?
  7. Steel titans (or nihils, in some situations) are really the only familiar that makes too much of a difference. I'm not sure of the cost/efficacy at Frost Dragons but maybe give it a try since you are 99 Summoning :P.
  8. Well actually Bandos, Armadyl, and Subjugation are still the best in terms of nondegradeable armour, and still probably something that you would like to keep on hand. For things like Slayer tasks or low/med level bossing, they are sufficient. If you want to kill higher level armour, the next tier up are the Nex sets (Torva/Pernix/Virtus for melee, ranged, magic, respectively). These degrade, but they can be repaired. The costs add up but it's not astronomical if you're using it for lucrative combat in any case. Then there is the level 90 armour, but it degrades to dust, so you want to avoid using it unless you're doing something really profitable or high level bossing that absolutely necessitates it. The set names are malovelent/tectonic/sirenic, if you're interested. If you're interested in moneymaking type stuff, Vis wax, broad arrowhead runs from Slayer Masters, and other things can still make you a little cash. Vis wax is a short daily whereby you take a certain amount of runes (which is different daily, and partially instanced to the player) and go turn them into the item vis wax, which you can usually sell for decent profit. It's only a couple of minutes of work too. Minigames are sadly mostly dead and I don't think very effective at making money. There is a Spotlight system now, which highlights a certain rotation of minigames (along with giving a new currency to purchase rewards), to encourage people to play them. Perhaps you could make some GP off Fist of Guthix while spotlighted by playing it and redeeming and selling blue d'hide coifs or something, but I really doubt one could use it too much for cash. I might be misinterpreting what you mean by a minigame though. MTK can be okayish profit, but I think it's more popular among players who choose to play ironman (DIY) style as a way to obtain good quantities of lesser obtained herbs and other resouces. Chaotic weaponry is great so keep all of that. Your next goal should probably be to go for a pair of drygores (higher level melee weapon). You can also take on the QBD and obtain a Royal crossbow for your Ranged weapon - you are certainly very well prepared to go for it. Bots will always be an ongoing struggle for Jagex and RuneScape. It's like playing a game of whackamole - strike them down in one place and they will crop up in another. However, I would answer your question by saying that bots certainly do not have the stranglehold on gameplay that you might remember from years ago. This is partially due to Jagex stepping up anti-bot technology, and also in part to more skilling moving away from semi-afk, noncompetitive methods, rather than everyone fighting over coal in the Mining Guild for xp (just to use one familiar example). You also mentioned moneymaking, so just one quick suggestion that has worked quite well for another person I talked to - try Frost Dragons with a set of Guthan's. You can sell Verac and Karil's to get cash for it, and you should be able to last there almost indefinitely thanks to your high stats and healing from the Guthan's set effect. You can use magic notepaper - a tradeable, stackable item that converts regular items into notes magically on the spot - to do so. It can be bought on the G.E. - I believe there is a limit of 500/4 hours but that should be plenty. From what I've heard frost dragons can be a reliable way to earn a few million per hour. Have fun and let me know if you would like me to elaborate on anything else, and I'll do my best. :)
  9. Hahaha "anti-sun potion." Not willing to call it sunscreen, huh?
  10. Thank you all - whether or not something is the absolute best in terms of efficiency, we endeavor to try and provide a reasonable amount of information on different options, to the extent that it is humanely possible :P. I've updated the Smithing guide to reflect the Lumbridge bank chest and also streamlined the tables a bit. Enjoy, and thanks again! :)
  11. And the correct experience for polar kebbit hunting is now live in the Calculator & Planner, along with a couple other spiffy updates. Enjoy!
  12. Those tables are actually split into different level ranges so that it doesn't stretch the page too much. If you click '26 to 50' (the next tab, next to the Summoning icon), you will see Vampyre bat, Honey badger, and others. Hopefully that helps clear it up for next time :).

  17. The Tuska Warpriest armour will be a drop from Airuts, so you will be able to get that there. I am not sure about the ability but it would make sense if they tacked that on Airuts as well...not 100% sure though. They did say Tuska would be around in some form post-event as well.
  18. The skeletons in the catacombs seem to have them as a common drop...if that's what you're looking for? I'm not sure if that's a faster way than mining the copper and tin though, guess it depends..
  19. It's hard to me to tell not having access to the forum, but is it possible that you don't have permission to use HTML there; hence all the escaped characters? Or maybe you need to tick some setting to make it read properly?
  20. Ding ding ding! Fatal Final Acid perhaps?

    812! Yes!
  22. So you're suggesting to add a bunch of rune rocks or what :P? Because even if you dropped it from 85 to 50 I don't think there would be a huge influx of ores. Maybe more lower level people would try to take advantage of it, but as far as I can recall ores are usually mined away quickly, and someone with 30 levels up on them would easily crash much of the time...
  23. But then you would need a destroy option if you changed your mind and wanted to bind a new item rather than your existing one. So that would still need a PIN; otherwise, it doesn't really change anything. Not to mention that I might well want to bind an expensive item and have the possibility of selling it again some day!
  24. It was a quick, rushed fix to add it in the first place, and sometimes taking out a bit of code is like playing with a house of cards. My guess would be it was something closer in the middle, i.e, two or three hours of coding when they got down to it, but just kept deferring the project because they had no extra coders available or because it was lower priority.
  25. ...except all the people who will do bossing will start afk farming it on another account until profits get hammered down. RIP miracle. :P
