Bought myself 67 top hats =D i'm quitting soon coz jagex aren't doing anything about the problem with me disconnecting 20+ times a day (wish I could say I was exaggerating) and before you say "it's your computer" no, it's not, I have the best computer you could possibly imagine and I've tried as many things as I could think of for the past 2 months and still to no avail, plus my internet provider and fone provider say there's nothing wrong with it - even got in a computer specialist for $140 and he said it's most likely to be jagex's servers being wrecked in some country so when the connection comes back to me, I disconnect. Anyways to cut a long story short i'm quitting coz of it (you wouldn't believe how annoying it is, clicking the "click here to play runescape" button 20+ times a day, especially when it's been going on for 4 months now and they still haven't bothered to keep us updated on the matter *hidden sticky in tech support forum FTL*) So I bought 67 top hats =D who knows, if they rise, I make money, if they don't, oh well :lol: I don't care anymore lol :mrgreen: Hawt Pic:

Um no. F2P don't pay for updates, they are lucky they get ANY at all :roll:

general: main fighting gear + teleport runes, as I use these A LOT other tabs: 99 capes and food, quest items + random stuff I never use, pets + monster heads, summoning, crafting, potions, and the *commonly used items* tab - such as the harpoon, rune pickace, rune axe etc.

First the "do emote" beggars and now the "borrow ur stuff" beggars =l errg what has RS come to.. soon it'll be "can i borrow your skills.." oh wait, WE ALREADY HAVE THAT #-o :lol: RS = doomed =D> And don't bother quoting me to flame (which i'm sure atleast 1 person will) you know that beggars ruin rs, and no the ignore list is not the way to fix it, last I noticed, you could only add 100 people to your ignore, and turning public on friends or off ain't gonna help when you're trading either so.. =D>

Combat skill - you kill more than 100K monsters on the road to 99 slayer, with summoning you need to kill less than half of that. Yes slayer may not contribute against a fight with another player, but take for example the places where you CAN'T use a familiar, like bounty hunter, a 126 would hit no differently to a 138, thus rendering summoning utterly useless. I think slayer deserves combat levels because it may not be slaughtering thousands of players, but 100K MONSTERS is a bigger achievement to me than an expensive cape with only half the kills (less than 40k kills for enough charms for 99 summoning). Even when the day comes when I get 99 summoning (currently 87, 1 away from 137 combat :o :o :o) i'll still wear my slayer cape, because it's taken me longer, more kills, and it shows how much effort i've put into killing atleast 100K monsters. I hope you can see it from my point of view, if not, I understand, everyone is entitled to their opinion, and everyone has different views on what should and shouldn't be a combat skill, other people here make valid points too.

Lots of people know what the lava titan does :-k or atleast I should hope so.. :wall: I did some really fast granite mining using the pharaohs sceptre to the ancients pyramid, just walked down it, and to the left was the granite mine. Tellied using duel ring (8) to castle wars when I was full, banked the granite 500g, and repeated. Every 3rd trip I had to charge the sceptre again but with that method you can make it back to the granite mine in less than a minute! It's faster than the camulet method too. Went from 78 - 80 mining with ease :mrgreen: Also like you say, it's great for KBD, if only I wasn't chicken enough to go and fight it.. #-o Just have to watch out for the noob revenants :pray:

Yea I can't really tell what will happen, usually you can, but there are pros and cons which can and cannot change the price of items. EG Pro of item lending - people may want the item, thus more demand. Con of item lending - people just lend the item and never save up for one themselves, thus less demand. :|

Like someone suggested earlier, can't people just go to the IRC channel? That way we know it's Tipit owned, and it's the same as clan chat really, only in a new window. Problem solved :pray:

food, armour + weapons, quest items, used fair often (chisel, harpoon etc.) and an "other" tab those'll probably be mine, quest items take up the majority of my bank #-o

In my 6 years of playing i've obtained 1 black mark and I still don't even know what it was for as it is one of those legacy punishments whereby it was obtained before 2006 so it's not appealable =( but I stated my opinion on the thread about the permanently muted players given a second chance, with the fact that, whilst it's good for them, what about the legacy punishments not being appealable? It's good to see that's going to be put in place, it's been 2 and a half years since I got my one and only black mark, and whatever I did i've learnt from it and would love to be back to 0 black marks =D lets hope this is implemented very soon and not pushed aside for the graphic updates to RS high definition, and July updates :pray:

Oo, thanks for reminding me =D I have 10M needles I need to get rid of :lol: hopefully if I get my hands on a dragon plate (highly unlikely, knowing my luck.. but I still live in hope) i'd be able to get rid of them all. But yea I don't think jagex would price dragon plate like it SHOULD be, I reckon they'll put it in at like.. 20M -.- either way, I don't think it'll effect many items prices :pray: well.. the dragon chain should plummet for sure, maybe come down to 4 - 7m'ish :shock:

It could be because many players are crafting bloods now, but i've never seen a price drop in nats this bad before, so that shouldn't be the case... one thing is for sure.. that abyssal titan's special ability sure is looking good right now :twisted:

I think it'll get some major reworking in the future - but for firemaking to be redone now, I wouldn't hold my breath :oops: Luckily for me I have level 91 firemaking so surely that'll get me many places :twisted:

Yes i've noticed more aggressive players already and i'm positive they're from WOW. Literally, everyday now I find atleast 1 person coming up to me calling me "nerd" for no reason at all, or dissing anything I say, and that is NOT NORMAL. What has RS come to.. *RS - high definition* should be renamed to *RS high definition - the rise of the immature players.* :roll: Don't bother quoting me either, as i'm not going to watch people flame everyone just for stating their opinion :-w

Yes also that island in the picture is crandor, in fact to be EXACT it's called "the destruction of crandor", I heard on the RS forums somewhere there was a picture on the jagex concept art wallpapers and there was a picture that looked exactly like that picture, just without the guy and in its properties it was named *the destruction of crandor* and I agree with the dragon slayer 2 quest, it makes sense, rune plate for part 1, dragon plate for part 2. I don't think you'll be able to buy the d plate through a shop after the quest though, just the ability to wear it.

Meh, just another tactic to making more money.. I guess if I was a kid again i'd buy that stuff but i'm not anymore so it doesn't appeal to me :?

I think achievements are great and all, they've definitely toned down for me personally though, because I thought, what will I achieve by getting all 99's? I'll only train the skills I like in the end... i'll never farm again... i'll never burn logs again... and I certainly won't run around in circles gaining agility exp... and so after I got 99 slayer i've just taken a break, doing whatever I feel like doing, without anyone telling me I should get more 99's. I think i'll train summoning to 88 for the unicorn stallion soon (currently level 87) and maybe to 99 to complete the l33t skill and get myself a baby dragon, i'll still wear my slayer cape over any other skillcape though, as I feel killing around 130K monsters is more of an achievement to me personally, than anything else. Until there's more 80+ level requimrents for things, I don't think i'll be training too many skills... it's a shame really :pray:

Zamorak Platebody reward =D Best clue ever =D the 2nd would have to be guthix cloak, then zammy kite (which was my first level 3 clue ever, had to do regicide to complete the clue and at the time zammy kite was worth 1M)
